Name: Taulmaril
Age: Undetermined, but appears to be in his mid-twenties.
Weapon: Twin daggers, named Cthrek Goru and Cthrek Naru. The blades are semi sentient, not capable of thought or action on their own but they form a bond with their wielder that doesn’t end until he or she passes away. As well with this blood never sticks to the blades, sliding off as if it were water.
Origin (Continent): Anax
Occupation: Assassin
Appearance:

Guess I should add that his eyes are a slate gray, revealing nothing within them.
History: Taulmaril’s entire life has been hidden in the shadows. Both of his parents were assassin’s as well, and had started training him as soon as he could walk. They never traveled anywhere but in the dead of night, as they worked on honing Taulmaril’s skills. They prowled the streets in search for targets; they didn’t discriminate in who they picked. The old, the young, the rich, the poor, male, female, it did not matter to them. They would give their son very specific methods of carrying out the kills. Slit their throat from above, blade in the heart as they walk by, tearing out their throat with his teeth. All different manners of death he was taught.
One dark night, on the eve of his final night of a child, they gave him his twin blades Cthrek Goru and Cthrek Naru, They were wrapped in a very thick cloth, so that neither of his parents flesh would come in contact with it. That was also the night they told him of a curse that ran through his blood, not only from one side but both. Blood, they needed it to stay strong, to use their skills to the fullest. They do need it to survive, but his parents explained to him that they made sure to drink, every few weeks or so, whether from a private supply, or from the body of a target. He accepted all of this without question, just as he always had. It was how he was raised. Their next words shock him only slightly. They explain to him that the daggers must be fed within the first hour of contact, so that the bond will form between him and the blades. Each one of the daggers required a separate victim, and his parents had already decided that they would be his victims. He did this without question.
A few months after this incident, Taulmaril began working for hire; anyone who could pay enough could hire him. This is also when he adopted the name of Taulmaril, he has now forgotten what his name had been. To this day he takes jobs, but those who hire him do so at their own risk, if he learns information that changes his view of the target, or the client, he may farewell turn against them.
Skills:
Bond of Mind and Blade- Showing the true potential of his bond with his daggers, along with years of practicing with daggers in general, he is capable of unleashing rapid series of strikes, involving his blades coming within centimeters of one another. He cannot maintain this for long periods of time however, as he tends to avoid close quarter fighting.
Silent Steps- With controlled and practiced movements his feet fall silently on most surfaces. The louder the surface would be in normal circumstances, the slower he has to move.
Assassin’s Grace- Years of studying under his parents, and even more years under his own tutelage, has honed his abilities of moving fluidly. Every action he takes is precise and exact, when he is focused, flowing from one position to another with very little to no transition period. For certain actions there is no strain upon his body, but the more complex the actions become, the more difficult it becomes to maintain the flowing movements.
Powers:
Curse of Blood- Many years have passed since the curse was laid upon both sides of his family, so long that none are too sure just how it originated. Feeding off of blood is not necessary to their survival; however without it their skills are weakened, until the point that they are virtually useless. Fresh blood must be taken in every few weeks in order to keep Taulmaril operating at his full potential.
Shadow Sanctuary- When he is already hidden in darkness, and no one can currently see him, shadows form around his body, causing him to become even more difficult to spot. So long as he moves quickly enough, he can keep this shroud of shadows around his form while jumping from shadow to shadow.
Fatal Finale- As a last resort move, either to give him time to escape, or enough to end the fight, Taulmaril can perform the Fatal Finale. By cutting both of his wrists, and allowing his blood to flow down Cthrek Goru and Cthrek Naru, blood will chain the daggers not only to one another, but Taulmaril as well. This allows him to perform lightning fast attacks, in an attempt to overwhelm his target, or to use as an escape mechanism. Regardless of the use, it comes with the risk of taking his life. If he fights to long, or cannot flee in time, the blood flowing from his wrists will continue until the daggers no longer detect danger.
