Have you come across this?
About a year ago, another fellow guild member tried to get an RP running that followed a story like the one in the video. It's an interesting concept that unfortunately never got up and running. I sent him a message telling him if he ever planned to bring it back, but he says he's occupied by other things and has given me the OK to try and actually make this happen.
So the idea of it is that all the gyms have been closed down because Pokemon battles have now been labeled as animal abuse. This in turn led to people hosting underground Pokemon battles which differ in the way that these battles are to the death.
Several groups have been gathered to track and stop the underground battles, but there are also separate battles between those groups and the ones who host the death matches, alot of whom have grown rich because of the massive profit they gain from the bets people throw in.
I plan on only using the Kanto region given that it's the only region I ever really remembered (though I'm not sure how well I remember it now). So that's pretty much the idea in a nutshell. If you need any more info, just ask.
I'm up for it, I saw the trailer a few months ago and it looked pretty decent.
Glad it's sticking with the Kanto region as well, I remember the first three gens but Kanto the most. Ohh how my childhood was good

For that, I plan to allow the use of all current Pokemon. I just want it to be set in the Kanto region.
