Rose grew a bit worried as James offered her a visit to the wolf. She hoped that the poor thing was fine as she pulled her cloak closer, looking around. Hopefully, no one who liked gossip had seen her kissing James just then. The rumors would never come to an end.

"I'll come with you," Rose finally said in a soft voice, "I really hope the poor thing will be okay. It wouldn't be fair for him to have to suffer for Jack's stupidity...."

James nodded as he looked father as the wolves were already howling, they were looking for their packmember as he looked down at Rose and smiled ''The wolves are smarter then you think, tje try to stay away from jack. Though everything would have need easier if jack didn't decide to hurt the animals.''

When the arrived he opened the door to his cabin instantly walked towards the kitchen where a few rabit were hanging there skinned as he grabbed them and moved outside. The young wolf was howling back but he couldn't stand as he tossed the rabbit in front of the wolf who growled at the stranger.

"Just stay inside rose, the wolf is wounded and then they get rather moody.'' he said before he moved inside himself ''but it seems he will be fine.''

Rose watched James go outside from inside his home, hoping that he could help the wolf back yard. The poor thing was thankfully alive, & after a few minutes of watching, Rose looked back into the kitchen to look around. The place wasn't extravagant by any means, but Rose felt comfortable enough to relax as she grabbed her hood & pulled it down.

"His pack won't abandon him?" Rose asked softly as she looked into the backyard once more, "I'm afraid they'll just leave him so they won't be slowed down...."

''Wolves are notlike humans, wolveswoul rather starve together then leaving a packmember behind. They will stay until he dies and then they eat his fles before moving on.'' he said as he smiled at her and looked into her eyes and smiled even wider. "It would be cruel to leave someone just because they are hurt isn't it? Would you leave yiur grandmother behind?'' he asked ashe lookedat hee.

Rose found herself scowling in a moment of offense a bit as she crossed her arms & looked outside to the wolf, who was now thankfully eating. Rose hoped this meant that he would regain his strength soon & then rejoin his pack.

"Of course I wouldn't leave Granny alone," the young woman huffed, "I'd rather die at her side than continue on at her expense. Anyone who lives should have the chance to continue on." Rose tried her best to calm herself down after she spoke, knowing that James was just making a point. He didn't really mean to accuse her of being neglectful.

''Look sweetie i didn't mean to say that you would do such a thing but i was just making a point. A wolf never leaves his pack and well they are starving here so that's why they turn to humans.'' he whispered as he walked over and cupped her face ''Please don't be upset''

He wanted herto fall for him as he knew shehad ro leave before the sun went down, he didn'twant her to see that he changed into a gigantic wolf, he just couldn'tlet that happen.

Rose relaxed a bit at James' request, knowing that he was right in the end. Being angry at him over something so trivial was just stupid. Rose uncrossed her arms & lightly rubbed the back of her neck.

"I should probably head home soon," Rose mumbled lightly, "It would be really bad if someone were to find out that I was alone with you in your home."

With that, the gravity of Rose's actions begin to weigh heavily on her & she blushed darkly, embarrassed with herself. Didn't she know what was proper anymore? She was being rash around James too much, & if she kept it up, she would have the reputation of a whore in no time. There was no telling what Jack alone was going to be saying about her from that point.

''Don't worry about it Rose, this will be our little secret. I do not want people to accuse me from kidnapping a woman.'' he said with a chuckle as he then walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close as betook adeep breath of her wonderful scent ''But i hope i can see you again my dear.''

He just neededro male sure that she would fall for him, he just wanted her to dump that asshole that called himself a man. He would start his attacks on the huntsman today, he would let the people know that he was sick and tired of that man.

He would finally get his revenge, make people think that the huntsman only made the attacks worse, he would show the people who the forest belonged to.

"Sweet dreams Rose'' he whispered in her ear ''Be safe''

Rose felt her face go red all over again as James whispered in her ear, feeling a dark chill run down her spine. This man was so dangerous, & she understood that now. With Jack, she wasn't worried at all about crossing a line that would make her a harlot, even though he was attractive. He just didn't lure her in. But James was a different story though; a big part of her didn't want to go back to her grandmother's right now, & it frightened her.

"I will bring your pot back to you soon," Rose promised as she walked outside, "Have a good night, Mr. James. Sweet dreams." With a slight nod of her head, Rose went outside & pulled on her red hood before she headed back to her grandmother's home. In no time at all, Rose finally arrived at the house & went inside. Jack sat in her grandmother's den, staring into the fire.

"I thought you went home," Rose huffed at the man in annoyance. Jack looked up at her with a pleading expression & rose to his feet.

"I'm sorry, Rose," he said, "I really am. Please forgive me."

"No."

Jack looked at Rose in shock when he received her calm response. She was truly serious, he could see that much in her eyes as she stared him down angrily.

"Is it that man?" he asked. Rose rolled her eyes & took off her red hood.

"No," she said again, "It's because I don't like you at all. I'm not going to marry you because I'm grateful to you anymore. It's a waste of both of our time." Jack frowned & rubbed his chin with his hand.

"So, I just have to win you over for real, then?"

"Jack..."

"It's settled then, Rose," Jack said, "I will win you back, you have my word." Rose sighed & went up the stairs to her roomwithout another word. Jack wasn't going to listen to her now.
