HTTYD, Into the Unknown, or The Future, Interest Check

Well it's pretty simply right now ^.^ but that's because i'm still in the middle of watching the mini movies that came after the official one XD But simply put, I'm all kinds of hyped up right now to start up an RP of this type, and for the moment I just wanna see anyone who's interested in an RP of this theme.

As for what's to come, I'm not 100% sure =3 I may even make 2, I actually got 2 different Ideas when i was typing the thread title.

Note: I don't know anything about the true sequel movies =3 So chances are this won't be canon to the actual progression of the story... I also haven't read the books, though Now i think I'd really like to =P


1. Is that after things have settled, probably another generation or 2 down the line, Some of the new generation join an expedition to head out into the rest of the world. With no more 'war' to thin the population, the vikings and dragons' both found over-population becoming a threat, and have since started to spread to other nearby parts of the world. How their reception goes when they encounter other people? Well, That's a different story in itself =P

2. 'the future', Originally meant the future after the movie, but then i thought, 'what if' it was modern? What if our world was like that of the movie, and with the peace between dragons and humans, things progressed with the differences. Hence a modern themed HTTYD RP. As for plot in that? I haven't decided yet =P Though a dragon training school comes to mind XD


Note: From the things i saw in the movie =3 When you make characters and their dragons, or vice verse =P, it may be helpful to include stats ^.^ Not for Rigid RPG style involvement, but as a representation of the characters and the dragon's abilities, skills, and specialties. =3


Here i cooked up a CS for those who'd like to make one =3 Also for those wondering =3 I think for the sake of leaving room for progression, the dragons should start in stage 2 or 3 of maturity out of 5 =3 though i won't deny 4th, The 5th stage is supposed to be rare regardless, Though for me that means, we achieve them through special means IC =3 Feel free to design your own maturity stages for the dragon of course =3

Powers?: Who knows =P This could become involved, Though I imagine it will remain in a smaller degree as 'magic' certainly isn't a main focus of one's skill in the movie nor in the RP XD

Equipment: Anything, any armor, weapons, or other possessions, even personal food or medical supplies.

Traits and Abilities: Anything from natural abilities to trained skills or physical modifications. You probably won't wanna know how it became possible, it'll be up to you mostly =P But i will allow dragon themed mutations =P I may explain why better in the OOC XD


Relationship With Dragon:How they view their dragon, how they feel about them, how they 'think' the dragon feels about them, and so on.

Stats: Optional =3 but i'll include some for myself as an example ^.^ Their generally rated on a scale of 1 - 10, however in some special cases they can be above or below this threshold, like in cases of special training, or an injury.

You can add more in cases that involve levels of skill for certain abilities =3 'if' you include powers/magic, the rating will always be low.

Stats: Most are obvious =P Keep in mind, the natural things like strength and speed, are Much higher for a dragon. for instance, a dragon with 5 speed rating, could be as much as 5 or 10 times faster than a human with 5 speed.
