    General Guidelines:
All participants or those interested in the contest must go to the provided link above and read over the guidelines. Users must adhere to the rules in order to participate in any of the RPG competitions. Please post any questions regarding this week's theme in this thread, or post to show general interest. If you have a question about the theme that make your entry no longer anonymous, please contact the AOTM account via PM.

As another note, be SURE to upload your submission to tinypic or imgur, and use the direct link for layouts as your submission link. Photobucket, image shack, and deviantart are NOT acceptable, for they are not anonymous methods for your entry.

There have been a few additions and changes to the 'Rules of the Month,' so be mindful of them - such as the division between Casual and Advanced. As another note, be aware that ALL Advanced entries MUST be submitted with the final piece, and a PSD / or links to the original stocks used for any graphics.

The division between Casual and Advanced is a personal choice to help ensure beginner artists are not overlooked against more advanced designers. AOTM Advanced winners are not allowed to re-enter the Casual competition; however, AOTM Casual winners have the choice to remain in Casual, or move to Advanced.

Artists, grab your camera, your sketchpad, your tablet, Photoshop, GIMP, or whatever tools you wish to use to complete your piece!

    Cool theme! c:

I hope you don't mind me asking, But were you rushed while making this guidelines thread? It looks a little... well, rushed. (Not that there's anything wrong with it! It's just a little hard to read)

Not rushed no, I just wanted to try a simpler, more condensed format, so everything has been re-written. Which parts specifically are hard to read for you?

I think the lack of color is the biggest difference, With no breaks in the white it looks like a big wall of text.

The second thing is having the casual and advanced rules together, It makes it longer and -again- less broken up into sections.

EDIT: Also the fonts, In the others you used a different font for the others, It makes it look neater.

Ah okay, I see what has happened. Lists don't like font changes XD Have to input them separately. Assuming that you meant you wanted all of the fonts to be the same?

With this month, it's difficult to add different colours, since the main colours are white (life) and black (death). Black is difficult to read when paired with white next to it, so I went for a uniform white text.

How does having the cas and adv rules together make it longer? I've taken two lists and condensed them into one, making the overall thread shorter.

Allow me to elaborate on my reasons for changing it:
    - The date is now easier to see.
    - Rules are condensed into one list to ensure the overall thread is shorter, and you can get all of the information you need, quicker. I may even talk with Chibi about removing the rules text and adding them to a separate thread which is just linked to. We actually still need to condense the rule threads.
    - I wanted important information to be easier to access.

I think I'll get in on this one. Though I have a question. In terms of a .PSD format are you asking for it so you can have layers to prove if the submission is an original creation? I may end up doing traditional work so making layers available may not be an option (as there won't actually be any layers).

I obsessively worked on this thing and have sent it in earlier than I've ever done, in a contest.

I may end up going different than my original plan. I don't think I'll have the time for what I want to do. Fffft. D:
