WOTW II (R1) - Elros vs Zweig

Chaos became of the bullets aimed at Elros, they reacted nothing like any projectile he would have ever seen. Dividing in to several smaller particles, each bullet would begin to hover and circle around his electric sentinels. Elros now had his own little asteroid belt, though it was only attracted to the sentinels, if he were to get too close to them now...

Elric began to circle around the scholar, like a wolf hunting down its prey. After landing, the boy's boots sounded another loud ignition that carried him further in to danger. He was arcing around towards Elros' left side, zig-zagging his steps between several dimly lit trees. When the distance between them was short, Elric would find himself barraged by a type of energy he was actually quite fond of.

~An assassin would have the insight to know electricity won't work...~ Elric rethought his course of action against this enemy... but... the thought was disbanded first. To disobey his father was painful. He had to defeat this scholar, else be grounded.

Whilst approaching that final gap, Elric made an effort to abuse his opponent's magic. Both his hands bent at his side, still pointing the end of those NUborg biogauntlets at the foe. His power would be revealed. Electricity surged about the end of each blade, both from some innate force, as well as being charged by sparks from Elros' sentinel. The shrapnel field went haywire between the two electric forces.

Before an overload was eminent, Elric allowed his two bladed katars to shoot out from their holsters. Two trees would catch them, diagonally to Elros' back left and right. Most of the electricity from his sentinels would become grounded. But even though the blades did not hurt him, Elros still had something to worry about. The magnetically held bullets, they followed his sentinels, as well as the energy held within those charged blades. Without further notice, a linear cloud of shrapnel was about to close-line Elros by his neck.

As Elric went past the tree the fire rune Elros had planted on earlier reacted on the boy's presence and launched a pillar of flame horizontally. Though it missed due to the boy's fast movement. Elros grunted as he saw a small asteroid belt forming around him and that his young opponent was unaffected by his sentinel.

As the boy closed on to him and fired two blades to the trees behind him, Elros watched as a cloud of shrapnel formed and immediately close-lined towards him. Instinctively, the mage rolled away, although he felt the cloud pierced through his right shoulder. Grabbing the shoulder with his other arm, he forced his wounded arm to move and draw a fire rune, which he activated immediately and launched a fire ball towards the boy.

“And so the first round ends,” Liaison mouthed as he made his rounds - stopping first at the Trigger vs. Iron Surgeon battleground. From what he saw, Elros had won quite handedly.

“Congratulations, Triggerman,” He mused, before sending him back to the Lobby. He could not dilly-dally, he needed to return swiftly, the matches would begin anew soon.
