This is an idea I have for a Soul Calibur RR. First off, if you're not familiar with the story of Soul Calibur, don't worry. This will play out much like a fighting RP. It's free-based and anyone can join at any time.


-Story- 12 Years after Soul Calibur 5

After Patroklos and Pyrrha destroyed both Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, no one expected to see a return of the ill-fated blades. Peace had been restored and the balance between good and evil was preserved. The siblings lived a long and happy life. It's been twelve years since that fateful day. Dark clouds billow once again over the cursed city of Ostrheinsburg, signaling the return of the wicked demon blade, Soul Edge. Though he and his sister sword Soul Calibur were shattered, a shard of Soul Edge remained in Earth, reforming with the blood and hatred of corpses strewn about the battlefield. Soon tales began to spread of the dreaded Azure Knight terrorizing the European countryside.

Nightmare was on the rise again, harvesting souls for his bloodthirsty Soul Edge and gathering the remaining malfested as his disciples. Without Soul Calibur to stand in his way, Nightmare was unstoppable. But fate would say otherwise. Once Soul Edge has risen from his grave, Soul Calibur would not be far away to confront her evil brother. The spirit sword descended from the heavens once again, newly reformed and willing to accept the new wielder in place of Patroklos. War will erupt between the swords as the hands of destiny conspire to pit the strongest warriors against each other. Will you take the path of righteousness and wield Soul Calibur as a holy warrior, or is it your heart is dark and corroded, desiring the unholy power of Soul Edge. Choose your destiny....

1. You can't forcibly hurt someone (EX: Yumi shoots Tatsuki in the leg)

You can try to hurt someone, but they must respond (EX: Yumi shoots three rounds at Tatsuki)

2. Your character can have any fighting style (Katana, zweihander, bo staff)

3. You're allowed as many characters as you want, but only your characters are under your control, no one else's

4. Don't make your character godlike and super immortal, even if he is a demon.

5. Anyone can join, but you have to post a character sheet. Now you don't have to use this example, but its best to include most of your character's info.

6. IMPORTANT: Original Characters Only. You cannot use characters from the Soul Series (Siegfried, Taki, Voldo, Etc.) You can however mention a character (EX: I was once good friends with Siegfried before the war.)

BACKGROUND: He was awoken from his dead sleep awhile ago and is searching for say to return to it eternally.

FIGHTING STYLE: Siegfried

CRITICAL EDGE (Your finishing move): A golden light envelops his sword (Will be blue when he finds Soul Calibur) and he slashes his opponent five times in a row. On the fifth, it's a heavy slash that throws them back nearly ten feet.

BACKGROUND: Once a follower of Nightmare, Gaul was the most feared swordsman in Europe. His sword remained constantly red with the blood of those he slaughtered, but one day, Gaul was defeated in battle by the Holy Warrior Sophitia. Sophitia purified Gaul of his malfestation and treated his wounds. Gaul realized then his life was full of sin and murder. No longer would he be a disciple to Soul Edge. Instead, he pledged his life to atoning for his transgressions and destroying the cursed sword before anyone laid their hands on it. Though he is on a mission born of holiness, his mind is at constant turmoil, fighting between his good side and his evil side. Gaul is searching for the holy blade Soul Calibur, so that he may vanquish the darkness inside him along with Nightmare and Soul Edge.

I hated SC5's storyline since it was so linear, you know? I couldn't wait for Ezio's ending and then all I got was a guy constantly screaming justice and a girl with a habit for apologizing. I'll join tho.

I have to agree on SC5's storyline. Patroklos annoyed the hell out of me and Pyrrha just sounded like rape-bait all the time >_< The only badass characters were Nightmare and ZWEI. Anywho, this is set after SC5, plus there will be no use of SC's main characters, only OCs. You can however mention one of the main characters.

Hmm, well, this'll sound crazy, but can I say have a character from the future, but in a timeline that isn't terribly advanced such as the American Revolution, World War 1, etc.?

NAME: Marcus Smith
AGE: 28
DOB: April 19, 1749
BIRTHPLACE: Lexington,Massachusetts, in what is modern day America.
SPECIES: Human

-Appearance-

BODY: 6'3", 150 pounds, fairly muscular.
EYES: Navy blue
HAIR STYLE/COLOR: Brown combover hair, often covered in a powdered wig
CLOTHES/ARMOR: Tight yellow pants, worn and beaten brown boots, a white silk shirt, and a British red coat turned inside out, revealing the Navy blue insides.
WEAPONS: A light calvary sabre, along with a flintlock pistol.
WEAPON COLORS: His sword's blade shines a brilliant silver, wilst the hilt of his blade is a dirty black. His flintlock is a dark brown, with silver on the top.

-Persona-

PERSONALITY: Heroic and noble. Has a strong hatred for tyranny, and while his parents are loyalists, he goes off to fight for the Colonialists. Has a strong sense of justice,so he often knows who is truly evil and who is misguided. Believes in free will for all, not just America, and thus reveres Soul Edge as a bane to existence.
LIKES: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for all.
DISLIKES:Those that stand in the way of truth and liberty, i.e. Soul Edge.
CHARACTER FLAWS: While he believes in his choices, he's haunted by the lives that he's taken. Doesn't enjoy seeing the enemies side in the story, believing himself to always be correct.
SEXUALITY: He's had plenty of women in his bed. 100% straight.
GOOD/EVIL/NEUTRAL: Good.
FIGHTING STYLE: A style with the stance and flashy moves of Raphael (except for the vampire attacks) but the power of Mitsurugi.
CRITICAL EDGE (Your finishing move): He raises his hand into the air as the screen darkens. American soldiers arrive, and when he lowers his hand, they fire and the victim is shown being riddled with bullets. Looking back, he quickly pulls out his flintlock and puts one last bullet into his kneeling enemies head before he and his soldiers walk off.
BACKGROUND: In the midst of one of the final battles between the Continental Army and the British Empire, Marcus stumbled upon a mysterious glowing blue fragment, which happened to be a piece of Soul Calibur. As the sword was not complete, it utilized a different power. Teleporting him back in time, Marcus ended up in a small village outside of Ostreinsburg. Luckily, he still fit in, even if his technology was slightly advanced.
