He stands 5 feet 9 inches, and has an average build, but leaning to slightly chubby in the last days. His eye colour is light brown, beneath thick black eyebrows.
Personality: Marcus is talkative and quite sociable, making him good when it comes to force relationships for favours. He has a very strong liver, so when he can drink many cups of wine without getting too dizzy, though he can get careless. Marcus doesn't speak his mind out, becaus he knows its dangerous to be an open book and telling everyone what you think.

Scars: Several faded ones all over his torso and legs. A slowly healing one that stretches from his right cheekbone to slightly left of his chin, splitting his lips.

Gladiator Combat style: Retiarii

Personality: Incredibly bitter about the turns of his life. This caused him to develop a certain amount of sadism. He is not used to people disobeying him, much less being ordered around. He does not have any calling but combat. If he is not eating or sleeping, he indulges in training or simply polishes and hones his equipment. Otherwise he is little more than completely asocial. His speech is rough and slow since he never really bothered himself with more latin than he needed. Some gladiators joke that he has not seen a single woman in his entire life and would probably consider them an exotic species.

Views: Has accepted that his life is in the hands of someone else and always will be, though only grudgingly.

Sexuality: He has never thought about such a trivial thing.

Status: Prisoner of war turned gladiator turned doctore. The crowd fondly remembers him as a creature more monster than man.

Spirituality: Once believed in nordic gods but abandoned them like they had abandoned him when he was captured.

Family: Dead, his older brother by his own hand in the arena in what one consul thought an especially exciting way to end festivities.

A note to the Lanistas, The opening scene will be all the gladiator players on the auction block, You as the lanistas get to purchase them, have a bid war if you want, or whatever. We'll set that up as more gladiator's sign up. It'll work very close to having "team captains" and picking people for your team, but with the added flair of paying denarii for them.

Personality: Impossibly grateful, but by no means an optimist - a fatalist that seems more curious than worried about how this particular life will end.

Views: So utterly passive about indentured servitude to the point that he almost seems to not realize he is a slave. The circumstances that have brought him this close to the arena seem like blessings to him, and every hardship is seen as just another interesting nuance in a story he can shape, but whose ending he cannot know until the time is right. His life may be his, but the world he lives in is not. If all things are destined to die, he will ensure his death is the most beautiful - and what could be more beautiful than to die in the Colosseum?

Sexuality: Heterosexual, but mostly celibate - at least until he's got enough wine in him to change his mind.
