Something personal-- Welllll I have a slight form of Synesthesia my brain personifies smells xD I'd like to experiment with the other forms too in my characters.

    Smelling numbers
    hearing colors
    colored numbers
    etc etc

Check it out. It's kinda strange and harmless. At least that's what I tell myself.
Classical question to determine intellegence: What does my name smell like?

Interesting, was when for a time I had the smell of coffee on a warm sunny spring day and the ripe smell of cherry blossoms with watching a man split a skull open with a shovel and then watching that person die (it took 5 minutes and the person remained remarkably lucid, cause of death appeared to be brain-matter and blood obstructing the airway).

BTW, I had a cherry-tree in bloom next to my driveway at the time.

Of course, that raised the even more disturbing realization that that incident didn't involve an undead-zombie... So would a blunt-instrument really suffice in such an RP? Or is that just wishful-thinking?

Anatidaephobia would be a damn funny quirk.

    @Foster--

erm, I can't exactly tell you what your names smells like because the type I have is personifying smells :/

For example (and a quick excuse for me to flex my pen) :

Click, click, click. Went the acid green heels of her Prada. Click, click, click. Her voice was sweet through red chaste kisses. Yellow hair. Blue eyes. More colors in her robe, like cool purples, steamy oranges, and rich, earthy browns. I saw in my mind's eye, the Queen of Color, approach me with a coy smile. She is polite, and in response to my studious gaze she let's out a tinkling sky-blue laugh. All in all, I cannot help but to gawk at Her Majesty.
    -- The Smell of Rain

    Or Hmmm how about :

A large, nebulous figure looms towards me cloaked in blacks and grays. I feel in the pit of my stomach, a surge of dread as the hand from beneath the figure's cloak stretches out. It is a sickly yellow and almost makes me shrink away immediately it extends wrinkly, crinkled, digits. Though the figure is still quite a distance, the sight of knobby gaunt fingers is enough to make me wretch.
-- The Smell of Old Spice

The above were tiny glimpes into the suffering mind of an unfortunate Fauxtrot. Well, suffering only in the presence of the odious smell of Old Spice. >_> I dumped many a boy in my day for wearing that foul stuff!

    Edit:

Did I forget to mention that the duck watching thing is overly hilarious!? HA! I like that one

The old-spice description reminds me of this one time my friends decided to gut fish next to my bed, and then attempted to 'cover' the smell by dropping a stick of deoderant upon a hot wood-stove.

Yep, smells invoke many memories, all of them horrible.*

Also, I know what sound going blind makes.
^The way this phrase is worded will likely confuse non-english speakers, and cause grammar-nazis to brandish pitchforks. Everyone else is cool like Fonzie.

*Seriously, I used to like waking-up to the smell of lialacs and cherries in bloom, then grab one last mug of hot steamy coffee, get dressed, and head out the door.

An incapacitating fear of the opposite sex is always fun. I've only ever done that with one character. Enjoyed it immensely.
