Olivia.::.
Olivia smiled, talking to Ray for a while, but the smile on her face felt a bit odd. She hated how fake it felt, how she knew it was fake, and everything about it was making her want to wretch right then and there. At least she had gotten him back into the bar, and hopefully Klaus and Stefan would be there soon enough. She had no idea where they were at, and she couldn't bring out a map and use a locator spell on the talisman she had given Klaus. Then Ray would likely know something was up, but still, at least he was in her clutches. He couldn't run from her now... Not now that she had him under her thumb.
"So, Olivia, where are your friends?" Ray asked, looking to the bartender. "Two beers."
"I don't know." she responded. "I guess they got lost." she shrugged and after the beer appeared before Ray he slid one to her, "Oh, no I really shouldn't."
"Oh come on. I can't buy a pretty girl a drink now?" he teased and she gave another fake smile, almost hoping for Klaus to walk in at that moment. At least he was more classy, and this man here was just foul. He wasn't even that attractive in all respects, and Klaus was. She shook her head, taking up the beer.
"I'm sorry, I'm just... I don't handle liquor well." she admitted. She had to get those thoughts out of her mind though. She couldn't find Klaus attractive, that would just lead to other things, and her eyes softened in color.
"You have really pretty eyes." Ray told her and she just took another sip.
Where are they? she thought.
Damon.::.
Damon looked to her when she had tossed the remote to him and smiled, watching her as she walked away. She was definitely cute for acting so weird, but he assumed it was just because she wasn't exactly used to meeting people and having them spend the night all in the same day. He couldn't blame her, but as far as things went, she was certainly good company. She seemed like she cared enough about others to know that he needed a place to stay, and in her good deeds offered him a place. She was a "dogooder" almost like Elena. Damon couldn't bear the thought of her though, and he shook his head, flicking the TV on to the news. Shootings, politics weather, anything to get his mind away from her.
Then Cydne came back out in the most adorable outfit and Damon had to catch the smirk that was trying to spread across his face. Maybe she wasn't like Elena. She hated being around people in pajama pants much less fuzzy socks and shorts. At her comment to get comfortable, he carefully took off his shoes and placed them neatly beside the couch. "Thank you. You look like you feel better." he commented, "And to get back to my friend. He's fine, he's been through a lot lately. He lost his girlfriend." he admitted, sadly.
Damon had remembered offering Alaric a place in his car to come with, but he wanted to stay and keep things in line with the Gilberts. "I told him he could come with me, to get away, but he's helping take care of her niece and nephew. Good guy, just doesn't handle loss well. I don't think anyone does." he sighed. He looked back to the TV, he knew he didn't go through loss well. It was why he was on this trip in the first place. Elena would never be his, and with all his heart he wished she would, but at the same time... Maybe he needed someone better for him. Someone who took him as he was.
It was the first time he had ever saw passed the way she treated him, and it was nice. Thinking about someone who didn't care, and he looked to Cydne. For the act he had been pulling she hadn't scolded him for being reckless or for being too kind even. She just went with it, and it was nice. Maybe she wasn't like Elena afterall, but still, the idea of bleeding her dry had completely passed over him... Even hurting her seemed impossible now and it bothered him almost. How could he not do that? That was what he did. He used and abused women... Why was she so different?
"So, is there anything you wanted to watch? I'm a bit boring and like the news." he chuckled, trying to stop himself from thinking. That was his problem. Thinking.
