    Olivia.:.
Olivia looked between Klaus and Stefan a moment before she nodded. "Right. Well, Stefan, come here a second." she motioned him over and when he got over to her she brought her hand to his face and jolted his chin up so she could examine his throat. It wasn't completely healed yet, but almost there. She could see how much more power the darker parts of her exerted and she sighed. "Right then." she said, letting go of his face. "Stefan, you be a good boy while I continue on my way to North Carolina. Listen to Klaus, as much as I know the two of you hate each other, I'll be holding you both back if I travel with you."

She got in her car, and rolled down the window when he phone finally beeped a reply and her eyes fluttered downward. Her fears had been recognized, but she wiped the look off her face almost as quickly as it came over it. "I'll be seeing you two. If Stefan dies before you make it to North Carolina, just be sure to drop me a call or squeeze my talisman so I can start looking for a new toy."

She started up the engine and went to drive off, but she could feel it again and she saw dark veins in her hand, but willed it away. She hit the steering wheel with her first pretty hard before she sped off.
    Damon.:.
Damon laughed. "Nice one." he told her, but he noticed how she was wrapped up. "Don't worry. I'm here to chase the bad guys away and bring you good luck all at the same time." he smiled to her, giving her shoulder a reassuring pat. He didn't like seeing her so defensive....

There was definitely something wrong with him. He hadn't felt this way since he was human and even that was understandable. He was human. Now he was a blood sucking monster that could kill anyone he wanted to on a whim... Aside from Klaus. He wouldn't die easy he was sure.

He sighed a bit and leaned back on the seat. "Great day, new friend, and new city. I think I like it." he smirked with his eyes closed. "Definitely think I like it."

    Klaus

Klaus watched Olivia check Stefan over. He watched her rather possessively, almost waiting for Stefan to make some sort of dumb move. If she didn't rip out his throat, Klaus would, in a heartbeat. Shaking his head slightly, he relaxed his thinking, which was starting to worry him again. He was having the same sort of pain in his chest that he had experienced in the bar. Growling, he tore his eyes from Stefan and looked to Olivia.

"Oh, that won't be necessary. After we hash a few things out, I'm sure he'll be more than ready to fend off whatever comes at him. Am I right Stefan?", he asked him, again with a daring glance.

"You be careful. Find me as soon as you can…", he said, not making eye contact as she turned away from him and drove away. As soon as he knew for a fact she was gone, he turned to Stefan, "So…what's it going to be? Turn it off…or else…"

    Cydne

Cydne gave a small smile, and lowered her legs to sit in indian-style on the seat. She didn't realize how awkward she looked all bunched up, until Damon had said something. Grabbing her bag, she placed it in her lap and hugged it, out of habit.

"Good.", she said softly, looking around the train. Most of the few people were asleep, or immersed in technology of some sort. Sighing, she leaned her cheek on his shoulder, "You'll like the apartment. It's a lot quieter than all of this, obviously, but it's quieter than most would expect out of a New York shoebox apartment."

    Olivia/Stefan.:.
Olivia had nodded to Klaus before she had sped off, looking at her phone and calling the number. Gloria was the only witch she trusted to look her over, so now there was more reason for her to go to Chicago. She just needed to set it up. If this was happening she needed to get on herbal compounds and fast. Dark Magic wasn't something to mess with. She had watched her father die from the wear and tear it put on him, and she would almost ask to be a vampire than have that happen to her. She wouldn't let it happen. She wanted to prove the Lockhart curse wrong.

Stefan looked to Klaus and nodded. "I'll turn it off." he spoke, quietly, looking to the ground. "Where are we going first?" he asked, still quietly. He saw Bonnie walking down the street with Jeremy and when they locked eyes, Stefan looked away. The two didn't bother to come over anyway though, seeing as Klaus was there as well.

"Are we heading straight to North Carolina?" he inquired. Where was Damon?
    Damon.:.
He was glad to see her relax, it put him a little more at ease, and seeing as the car was relatively empty, aside from a mother and her two children and an emo guy sitting at the back of the car. He smiled to her. "Well quiet is good." he nodded a bit. "And thank you, again. The landlord is wonderful from what I hear. I may have to head back home to get a few things after I get the stuff in my car put up, but that won't be for a while anyway."

He hated thinking about Mystic Falls now and his phone vibrated again and he looked at it. Another Stefan inquiry followed by a statement.

Where is Stefan? He told Caroline he was finding you?
Elena's text read and he rolled his eyes and closed out of the message. "They think I know where my brother is. I don't. He hasn't called yet."

    Klaus

Klaus looked to Stefan with a wide smile, "That's the spirit. See? Things are a lot easier with a little cooperation. If only you could convince your brother of that…", he said, walking around Stefan to begin the long run to North Carolina.

"Of course we're leaving now, unless there is business you need to attend to. You did feed, did you not?"

    --

    Cydne
"The landlord really is great. If you want to chat with him, I can give you his number and stuff. He will let you in, for sure, even though the waiting list is forever long…", Cydne said with a smile, watching the concrete flash by the window across from them. She was anxious about getting back to the apartment. Part of her was excited about the prospect of not being alone and part of her was anxious about being with a total stranger.

She felt the vibration of his phone against her own leg and smirked, looking down at it as he pulled it from his pocket. She furrowed her eyebrows, catching onto what he was dealing with. He was dealing with a girl, probably his brother's girlfriend. He may have hinted on it, but it was just now apparent.

    "…Was that his girlfriend?"

Damon looked to Cydne and nodded. "Yes. Apparently my brother has gone missing. He's looking for me or something." he told her and he leaned back slightly. "I think she's just not looking in the right places honestly." he told her. If that were true, however, Stefan would have had to found another witch or something. He smiled to Cydne however.

"I think I'll just meet with him tomorrow. As much as my phone goes off I am more of a face to face person." he admitted, and tucked his phone away. "Besides, Elena tends to overthink things when it comes to my brother. Sure, he is looking for me, but when he realizes I wasn't kidding he'll go back to her right away."

With that he looked up and saw the next station they were coming to. "Which station do we get off at?" he inquired. He knew some of the city, but the subway still confused him. He'd rather drive around and get to know the city, but he knew New York drivers.

    CYDNE:

Cydne nodded, slowly. She understood worried family. She didn't understand his particular situation, but…at least she was trying to relate. Awkwardly, she shifted in her seat, the longer he talked about Elena. She could almost hear the admiration and hate seeping together in his tone of voice. He was in love with her. He was in love with his brother's girl.

"That's great. I'll just give him a call tonight and…", she lowered her eyes to her lap, as her mind taunted her about her jealousy. She decided to just hush and enjoy the ride, when he asked another question. Awkwardly, she furrowed her eyebrows and looked up toward the window, trying to think of the number of the station in her mind, "…eight? I think? I guess we'll know when we come out of the tunnel. The apartment is literally on the other side of that wall...", she said with a small laugh.

A smile came across his face when she began talking off the station. The best way to forget things, afterall, was to not bring them up, right? It didn't help that she was constantly trying to get a hold of him though. Sure, Stefan not answering her calls was something a bit odd if anything, but...

He shook his head slightly, banishing the thoughts of her from his mind and he turned his attention to the beautiful blonde beside him. At least she appreciated his company, even if he was putting on a show for her. When she looked away from him he looked at her neck, but quickly looked away before he could be caught. It was beautiful, pale, and almost yelled at him to rip it open. Even though the car was practically empty and he could compel the other rider, he couldn't bring himself to rip into her.

It was almost annoying how he found himself incapable of doing so. He had ripped into plenty of people, Andie Star, who had turned up dead a while after, and all the other girls and victims he had created. Aside from Caroline, but he would like to think that it wasn't a huge mistake. "Here's eight." he said, pointing the station number on the walls they were passing and he stood, offering her a hand.

It was tormenting him. Why could he just not rip into her and bleed her dry? Why could he not bring himself to compel her to not be afraid and just drink all of her blood? Why couldn't he do it? His conscience was virtually non-existent most of the time, and he hated how it decided to show up for this one girl. Beautiful and better than Elena... Better than Elena? That was a new thought to cross his mind.

Still, he helped her off the train and cast a side long glance to his company. "Let's see if we were right." he gave her a dazzling grin before he offered her his arm.

    Olivia.:.
The drive to North Carolina had been long and she would have rather not have done it alone, but with the possibility of a random possession occurring again had her on edge and now she was tired and in need of coffee. Reaching over into the seat beside her, she took up her water bottle of vervain and wolf's bane and took a large sip. It didn't taste too bad to her anymore, but she had been used to the taste for the better part of 120 years. With a sigh she parked near a small cafe and walked inside, pulling out her phone and calling Stefan's number. Klaus' phone was either dead or completely lost she assumed. Or just out of service range.

    "Hello?" the male voice.

"Hey there, boy toy. Tell Klaus I've made it into town and I'm at a cafe pumping myself full of caffeine. If you two are nearby we can begin looking for Ray." She ordered him before she hung up. Pulling her purse up her arm she got into the cafe, which doubled as a bar and sat at the counter. "Coffee, lots of it." she ordered and the man beside her laughed.

"Long day?" he inquired, he offered her a hand. "Ray."

She accepted the hand. "Olivia. Nice to meet you." And just when the she thought her luck was down. "What can you tell me about the town?" she blinked her eyes, flirtatiously and smiled to him. When her coffee came she put a little sugar and milk in it before turning back to Ray.

    KLAUS

Klaus watched Stefan twiddling with his phone. Figuring it was a random attempt to contact his brother, he placed his hands on his hips in an unamused sort of way, slowing to the outside of a patch of woods. Listening, he recognized Olivia's voice, furrowing his eyebrows and wondering why she would feel the need to contact Stefan when he had a perfectly working phone in his pocket…

Pulling it out, he pressed a bunch of buttons and realized that he must have done something to his phone. It wouldn't light up or anything.

"You would think…that after a hundred years to evolve…the humans could create a bloody PHONE THAT WORKED!", he almost screamed at the phone, before looking back up to Stefan as he hung up the phone, "What did she want?"

    CYDNE

Cydne silently took in the way he looked at her in the corner of her eye. She couldn't help but blush a bit. He was staring…and she wasn't the type to get stares often. Sure, she was pretty. She knew she was pretty, but…she wasn't that 'type' that guys usually went for. Maybe he was just being nice. Either way, it was an awkwardly warm feeling to be stared at.

She glanced at him and gave her own sort of smile. Once again, she had to take in the fact that she could almost read his soul through his eyes. The part of his soul that said there was more to him than he was letting on, was hiding right behind the blue.

Taking his arm, she broke her gaze once again, almost murmuring an 'I'm sorry' to him for staring. Instead, she gave a bright and toothy smile to answer his own, before dragging him up the stairs of the tunnel. Once they reached the top, she smelled the familiar, yet disgusting smell of the hotdog cart that perched here every day, and nodded.

"Yep! Home sweet home!", she called out to him over the traffic, pointing to her building.

    Stefan.:.
Stefan looked at Klaus as he messed with his phone and right when he was about to answer he saw a text from Olivia's number and blinked, reading it again. She worked quick. "She's in a town nearby, stopped at a cafe and she's found that Ray Sutton guy apparently. Said he's distracted enough for him not to run away when we got there." he informed him. He was still shocked at the pace of the things going on here.
    Olivia.:.
After Olivia sent Stefan the text she had she smiled to Ray again as he spoke about the town and she drank her coffee as they had idle chit chat. It was nice to be able to talk to him and have him be completely clueless as to who and what she was, but she noticed the dark veins bubbling on her hand, but forced it back before she started again with Ray. "So, what goes on around here? Not far from the Virginia border there have been a bunch of animal attacks, and I noticed the forest. Do you guys get many?" she inquired.

"We do, but as of lately not too bad." he answered, though the discomfort became apparent and another blink of her eyes she smiled.

"Do you mind showing me around the town a bit?" she asked. "My friends are supposed to be meeting me soon, and I want to be pretty noticeable when they get here."

Ray nodded and after she paid for her coffee she took his arm and began walking with him outside. She knew the moment Ray caught sight of Klaus, if he was smart, he would try to run and with a hold on him she could use a few spells to keep him in her reach. Another new toy.
    Damon.:.
Damon looked to Cydne and smiled a bit though his nose scrunched up a bit at the smell of hotdogs. She had taken to looking into his eyes, he made a small note of it, but dismissed it. "Wonderful. Let me just get a few things out of my car and I'll be there soon." he assured her, "If you want you could come over and check it out."

What was his deal? He was being nice, and not because he was being told to be the better man. He was just being nice. That was abnormal for him and he sighed a bit when he opened the trunk and pulled up his overnight bag and his bag with his bourbon and a water bottle of blood buried in it somewhere. He desperately needed it at the moment. He had a full duffle of blood bags as well as other clothes, but he made sure to keep an over night bag out. Not to mention he had a box of clothes and a box of bourbon in the backseat of his car. He came prepared to not head back for a while.

He slung the bags over his shoulders. "Lead the way. Maybe we'll rung into your landlord on the way inside." he suggested. Then the compulsion he couldn't bring himself to do would finally be let out, and hopefully he and Cydne would be close in apartment numbers when he finally compelled the landlord to give him an apartment. "Thanks again for letting me stay with you, if there's anything you need, just tell me." he offered.

Now that tasted a bit weird in his mouth. Either Elena had really rubbed off on him or Cydne was really that good.

    Klaus

Klaus went from moderately pissed off at his phone, to aggravated that Olivia was working so fast, and finally, his mood changed in an instant to ecstatic. They found his werewolf. No…they found his werewolves…plural. They just had to go get them. Walking ahead of Stefan, with a bright smile on his face, he quietly praised Olivia. Sure, she worked a little too reckless. But maybe reckless was exactly what was needed in a time like this.

"Let's go. We have work to do. In case anything goes wrong…at least we have you as bait.", he said, pretty cheerfully, and turned, walking away from Stefan.

    --
    Cydne

Cydne smiled at Damon's offer to come check out his car. Of course she wanted to. Since she had met him, she thought about sneaking around to see what it was like on the inside. It was something she learned as a car girl. Most classics were gutted, and barely drivable. When they approached the Camaro, she whistled, impressed. It was spotless. The interior was even more spotless, save a few crumbs that had obviously been left over from road trip food.

Glancing up when he shut the door and told her to lead the way, she smiled, "Your car…is gorgeous, just so you know. I would kill for anything like that. Like, literally…stab someone in the eyes with spoons to have a car that nice."

As many times before, she mentally facepalmed. She had a knack for speaking and not shutting up, and thankfully, he didn't seem to mind, too much. It was then that she realized he felt a little bad for having to crash out on her couch. She rolled her eyes and gave a face that said 'like it's a problem!', before scoffing, "It's nothing. I don't need all the space I have. There's not much in the fridge. So, you'll have to settle, or go get food from the market next door. Thankfully…there IS a market next door…"

As they walked, she became more and more nervous about letting someone new into her life. Sure, he was already there, whether she liked it or not, but letting him live with her? That was a big step. She stepped up in front of the large green door and sighed, "Home sweet home!", before opening it and stepping inside.
