Name: Drake.
Gender: Mail.
Species: Empoleon.
Preferred moves: Icicle crash, Steel wing, Waterfall, Drill peck.
Ability: Defiant.
Nature: Adamant, proud of his power (Attack +2, Spcl. Attack -1).
Item: Blue cape and silver chain on neck. The chain is ordinary, but the cape hides a combat net for snaring a foe-Although how long it will hold a strong Pokemon is doubtable. Battle item is an Empol-Seal (PMD exclusive item) worn on a ring.
Personality: Drake looks at (or down upon) the world with an amused, careful superiority. He is very much both the protective elder and chivalrous knight in character, taking in with thoughtful vision the antics of all his inferiors. Drake is eternally ready to take a weaker Pokemon under his wing (flipper?), but has something of a lack of insight regarding when to actually put his own safety first (fatal character flaw).
Nevertheless, leadership-wise, Drake is best suited for the top of the pyramid, or at least very high up. His regal nature makes him a born leader and advisor. He does, however, face signifigant difficulty giving up power, or working as an inferior.
When times are calm and peaceful, Drake has shown the ability to laugh and smile truly, but with a certain reluctance. Laughter in more troubled times is usually a way to relieve stress, prove a point, or even intimidate.
Appearance: Drake is very large and steadily built for a Penguin Pokemon, with less of a waddle in his step than his brethren. Drake is an excellent physical specimen of an Empoleon, with a beak crown in the shape of a trident symbol, smooth black feathers, a carefully honed glint of sharpness in his wing blades. Drake isn't often seen without his royal blue cape, even in combat, and the silver chain around his neck.
Skills: Drake has well earned his status as an officer to Arceus. His physical prowess in combat as well as a sort of natural elegance, a protective and defiant nature and an impressive aura of power make Drake very hard to match in one-on-one fighting as well as skirmishes.
In addition to being something of a one-'mon attack squad, Drake posesses considerable ability to rally other Pokemon under a leader, be it himself or other (Large-scale tactics and strategy aren't his specialty). His in keeping lessers in line is admirable, and he is quite capable of talking or even staring down anyone who challenges authority as well as being able to keep spirits strong and raise the hope of the fighting ranks. He is strict in rule but ever-mindful of any plight among the lower classes, and this has made him popular among many. Cruelty in war has never, however, been something he has tolerated, no matter how desperate the situation-Both an honourable trait and a potential downfall.
