The Academy is a lavish boarding school on Hillsview Island that can teach you how to train each and every Pokemon you obtain to it's full potential while also bringing out your inner champion as well! If battling is not your forte, we still offer basic nursing courses, practice Pokemon contests, core skill classes, advanced sciences and much, much more. There truly is something for every student here.

There are also extracurricular abound as students are allowed to take advantage of our state of the art training facility, wild Pokemon garden, art programs, numerous after-school clubs, beautiful library for studying and the competition gym for training battles within operational hours. They may also take a stroll down to Portsdam, the small town where they disembarked.

We will periodically host dances, charity events, battling competitions, contests and many of our excellent teachers will offer the opportunity to do fieldwork that tie in with their lessons.

While large and prestigious, it is still affordable as we believe every young person has a right to receive the highest education possible and give out thousands of dollars worth of scholarships every year.

BONUS PLOT DETAILS: When the Pokemon world started to get overrun by extra vicious wild Pokemon and criminal organizations, many parents became apprehensive to ship their ten-year-olds out on a journey. Recommendations of several Pokemon experts and the pressure from concerned parents caused the age that one is eligible for a trainer's license back to be changed to sixteen and it was also strongly suggested that children receive some sort of training from secondary schools in hopes that if the students didn't become interested in subjects besides battling, they would at least have some stronger Pokemon and knowledge before setting out...

RULES!

I try to be the nicest and most accepting GM that I possibly can be, but there are still some basic rules I’d like you to follow. Repeat violations may or may not result in banning via killing off your character. (Though you'd have to really be a dick to push me that far.)

1. IF YOU ARE MAKING A STUDENT, you may only use three, unevolved (or ones that can‘t evolve at all), non-uber Pokemon. (Ubers being almost all Dragon Types, Larvesta and possible Beldum.) I’d also prefer if you didn’t use fossil Pokemon either.

2. Teacher-student relationships creep me out plus they‘re kind of illegal. Please romance within your own age group.

3. Power playing is bad. I can understand giving your Pokemon a bit of an edge from a type advantage or whatever, but I don’t want you waltzing into the beginner’s tournament with Fluffy the magical Ponyta that can dodge every freakin’ attack and ‘never backs down because he has a fighting spirit and he’s sooo strong tee hee!’ All characters and Pokemon are noobish to a certain extent if they’re here alright?

4. Don’t ignore people. Nobody likes to feel like a loner and we want to be as friendly as possible here.

5. And on that note, don’t be a jerk. We can all understand if your character is a bit of a bully in the RP, but don’t be nasty to other people in the OOC.

6. This is a personal quirk, but my username is Harvest because I like to be called Harvest. No nicknames for me please.

7. I’m not really strict about the length of posts but the least you could do is run a quick Spell Check before you actually post it.

MAP OF HILLSDALE/SCHOOL/DORM!

Let it be known that I will never be a cartographer or architect...

Location:
Directly south of Hoenn.

Climate:
The climate is generally quite mild and breezy. It rarely rains until springtime. The beach in town is only open during late spring - early autumn as it’s just a bit too chilly during the rest of the year.

Geography:
The island is covered in vast expanses of hilly grasslands ( though you can’t really tell that from my shitty map) and spotty areas of deciduous forests. There is a wild herd of Ponyta that live in the plains and most of the local wild Pokemon are birds, Grass types and a few common Rock/Ground types living up in the mountains/near Fisherman’s Point. And if you’re wondering why there’s only one beach, that’s because most of the island is a rocky outcropping high above the sea (think Ireland) reaching a cliff of epic proportions at Fisherman‘s peak..

1 - Portsdam.
This is the small fishing community where students first arrive. There are small curio shops and boat rentals on the dock and a general store (the blue building) in town. There is a large farm just out of town where you can buy fresh milk or get a part-time job on the weekend for some extra cash.

2 - The Beach.
A small stretch or rocky sand near town. It’s a great fishing spot which is how it remains so popular among locals throughout the whole year. During the swimming seasons nets and buoys are put out to keep swimmers safe. Occasionally a Clamperl or Shellder may be washed up with the tide.

3. Portsdam Cove.
A large, dangerous and dark cave that goes deep into the island and is filled with particularly vicious bat Pokemon. There’s a rumor around town that a giant sea monster lives there. Brave fools can find a small stone footpath that leads to the cove if they want to find the truth out for themselves…

4 - The Woods.
The forest on the island doesn’t have a formal name, but there is a very odd assortment of (Grass, Bug and Flying type) Pokemon from several different regions that can be found here that have gained the interest of several professors. The Biology and Ethology classes take field trips here.

5. Mount Orica.
Named for the first woman to climb to the peak, the mountain contains several small caves along the paths to its peak. (None of them are as impressive as the Cove though.) Pineco are very common in the hearty pine trees growing along the ridges and if Rock types are your thing you won’t be disappointed. Rock slides are fairly common here and some native Pokemon are not friendly so it is highly advised to stay towards the bottom. The Ethology teacher is a trained mountain climber though and will gather up some of his friends for a well-regulated expedition towards the top.

6. Fisherman’s Peak.
Though there is a winding path leading up to it, rock slides are very uncommon in this area and as such the Peak has become a popular date spot, assuming you can sneak out with someone. The amazing view of the ocean is lovely in itself, but witnessing a sunset here is said to be breathtaking. (A mural of one of the legendary sunsets is painted in the school.) Also, as the name implies, fisherman frequently take day trips to the Peak as there is a colony of uncommonly large Relicanth that has taken up residence nearby. If you hope to bag one for yourself I certainly hope you brought a long fishing line.

I found it would be more convenient for all of us if I just break down the dormitory building by floors.

1st floor: When you first come in there is a large lounge area with couches, a TV, some bookshelves and a few communal computers. Off of the main room is a small store that mainly sells school supplies and Pokemon goods. (If you want clothing, decorations, gifts, etc. you’ll have to go to town.) There is also a small dining area and kitchen for weekends and a mailbox marked by room number should parents choose to send you money or care packages. (And there’s a bathroom.)

2nd floor: The boys’ rooms. Each room comes with enough furniture and space for two students to live comfortably; two loft beds with desks beneath for laptops and studying, a small walk-in closet with two sides for both parties, a window seat that opens up for storage (there’s a divider in the middle) and some shelves for storing school supplies and whatever else you may have. There is also a communal bathroom/shower area at the end of the hall.

3rd Floor: The girls’ rooms. Same as above.

Now the main reason I didn‘t make this a map was so that we‘d have some wiggle room with the number of dorms in the building. We‘ll start with 10 and to make things easy the boy dorms will have a B before the number and girls will have a G.

From:
Toby was born and raised in Cherrygrove City but his family very recently relocated to Slateport. He is the seventh of twelve children and being towards the middle of such a brood often left him feeling quite ignored by his parents. Luckily their negligence allowed him to forge their signatures to enter a scholarship contest. Since he‘s here he obviously won and now he‘s determined to do something so epic with his life that his folks will have to notice him! (He’s not sure what yet, though taking care of Phoebe has gotten him interested in being a breeder.)

Sexuality:
Gay, though not completely open about it. (He’s not in the closet per se, but he won’t actually tell you he’s gay unless you get to be one of his friends. Or if you‘re a cute guy that seems interested.)

Personality:
Although Toby wants to get famous for something, he doesn’t particularly want to work for it. He’d much rather sit around at his laptop looking up recipes or taking a walk with his Pokemon with his camera in tow than actually applying himself. He’s a sweet guy though, and a good listener to boot though his advice isn’t spectacular. He also loves to make other people happy and will often go out of his way to do nice little things like picking up after a roommate or baking a batch of cupcakes for his friends at lunch. Lastly, he’s quite observant and can usually tell if you’re not feeling hot and will try to cheer you up as best as he can.

Charley the Chikorita - Being Toby’s first Pokemon, Charley seems to have developed a bit of a superiority complex. He‘s been with Toby for several years now and counts himself as the best friend who deserves almost all of his trainer‘s attention. It seems that he’s not fond of Phoebe since taking care of a baby takes up most of Finn’s time these days...

Sophie the Gligar - Sophie is a calm, gentle and sweet Pokemon who would be perfectly content to hang on Toby testing his food all day long. She’s extremely careful with her stinger (which is why it seems so tiny most of the time) and enjoys taking care of Phoebe, though cross her or threaten her teammates and she’ll rip you a new one.

Phoebe the Natu - Phoebe is the newest member of the team and is also the youngest. In fact, the day before the Fitzgerald family relocated to Hoenn Toby found a stray egg in the bushes. She’s only hatched a few weeks ago and Toby is still extremely overprotective of her. He keeps her in his hood most of the time and isn’t ready to let her battle yet.

Name: Ritzy Buchanan

Age: 15


Appearance:

From: Born in Castelia City, Unova, she spent her free time wandering the city and getting lost in the alleys. Her favorite activity was going to Nimbassa City and participating in the leisurely lifestyle that Nimbassa provided. One weekend it was the amusement park, the next it was the Stadium, though her true love was watching the Pokemon Musicals.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality: Ritzy is obsessed with the spotlight which comes from her love of Pokemon Musicals and performances. As such she can be something of a drama queen and an attention seeker. Her constant quest for fame and recognition hasn't done her any favors among people who prefer to go about their lives quietly. Ritzy is the person who plasters bulletin boards with advertisements for upcoming theatrical events and never seems to run out of energy. Optimism is refreshing, but in Ritzy's case it is a tad excessive.

Likes: Performance art, exceptionally spicy foods, winter weather, insects (spiders in particular)

Dislikes: Darkness, swimming, heat

Pokemon: Momoko the Gothita
Momoko, as Ritzy calls her, was the first Pokemon Ritzy caught. Until she saw Momoko outside of Castelia City one afternoon, Ritzy had no interest in Pokemon whatsoever. Momoko is very temperamental and often causes trouble for Ritzy especially when Momoko feels Ritzy is ignoring her in favor of human friends. Still, the two are inseparable and for as often as Ritzy jumps around between friends, she always had Momoko to fall back on.

Sel the Vanillite
The 'Sel' is short for 'Selsius'. Ritzy never did claim to be good at spelling. Sel came into Momoko's life completely by accident; she and Momoko were running an errand at the Driftveil Fish Market when Momoko spotted Sel near the Cold Storage. Sel had been injured by one of the Cold Storage workers and Ritzy, feeling sorry for the delicious looking creature, placed it in a PokeBall and brought it to the PokeCenter. Once it was healed she was all set to send it back to the wild, forgetting that it was now her Pokemon. Sel is a cowardly Pokemon that Ritzy mostly uses as a means to keep cool in the heat.


Extra: Ritzy doesn't much care for training Pokemon, her interest is in the performance side of things, such as contests and plays.

Name: Rube Buchanan

Age: 17

Appearance:

From: Castelia City, Unova. Unlike his sister, Rube hated going to Nimbassa or any other town and spent most of his time in Castelia going to the Center Square and relaxing. He would often watch the various street performers and had a particular affinity for the street dancers and musicians that earned their living from tips.

Sexuality: Gay, closeted

Personality: While he isn't the strong silent type, he does have trouble articulating his thoughts and as such tends to speak in small, disjointed sentences. But those sentences are often said in a loud, rude voice. Rube isn't shy by any means, he loves meeting new people, though he has a hard time with that due to his imposing frame and his rough voice. Whereas his sister is overly obsessed with running around and participating in events, Rube is quite content with spending his days sitting around the quad and watching life unfold around him.

Pokemon: Boris the Joltik
Boris wandered into the Buchanan home one summer night and it terrified Ritzy despite being very, very small. Rube kept it and the two have been partners ever since. Boris has a tendency to wander off on his own, which is why Rube likes to keep Boris on his shoulder. The curiosity Boris has is not unlike the curiosity of a young child and said curiosity has caused Rube counless amounts of grief over the years.

Sandile
Rube hasn't come up with a name for Sandile, a Pokemon he acquired when his sister took him to the beach. For two hours he sat in the sand and watched Sandile try to cause mischief for other beach goers. He found it endearing in a strange way. He captured it because he was curious to see if Sandile would continue its mischievous ways as a captured Pokemon. The answer was yes. Sandile continues to be something of a prankster, though he doesn't harm others. Usually.

Bitzy the Deerling
Named for his sister, Bitsy is the newest member of Rube's team. Ritzy was the one who captured it when she was in Nimbassa, but she gave it to him as a birthday present. A belated birthday present. Bitzy, much like Ritzy, loves to run around, which is something Rube lets her do whenever he goes to a park or lounges in the quad. Bitzy, unlike Boris and Sandile, has never gotten Rube into trouble which is what he likes best about her.

Name: Alex Serket

Age: 17

Appearance:


From: Mauville city, of the Hoenn Region. Her Father was an avid gambler as well as pokemon trainer, who moved to the city for it's game corner. Her mother on the other hand, was a researcher who worked in the underground powerplant. She was sent to the academy at her father's insistence.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality:
Alex is horrendously uninterested in her studies. She couldn't care less about most classes, except for pokemon battling. She couldn't care less about anything. Were it up to her, she would stay in her room, sleeping the day away. Despite this, she is quite smart, managing a passing grade in most classes without studying at all. She feels like she's better than everyone else in fact, a thought she keeps to herself, yet shows quite clearly in her manner of being. She tries her best to hide her arrogance and condescension to the point where you might actually think she's nice. She's gotten pretty good at controlling her emotions, so to speak.

1.Cacnea ♀
Alex's first pokemon, Cacturne was gift from her father after he'd come from the desert path on the route to Fallarbor. Like Alex's other pokemon, it wears an oversized pair of Sunglasses over its eyes. It is a mean prankster, one Alex has trained to sneak up on people and punch them in the legs, amongst other insidious tricks.

2.Carvanha ♂
Alex's second pokemon, She got Carvanha after fishing in the river not far from Mauville. It wears a pair of oversized sunglasses over it's eyes. Every single time she's pulled it out, it has opted for biting the first thing in sight, yet it is somewhat obedient. For a certain degree of obedient. It doesn't bite Alex, at the very least.

Lance stands 6'4"

From:
Dewford Town, Hoenn. His father travelled a lot and was a successful Pokémon combatant, but Lance found a strange love for the Pokémon contests almost more than the battles when he got to travel around Hoenn to watch his father battle.

Sexuality:

Personality:
Lance is rather sharp and charming, and while genuinely a nice guy, does fall prone to using such traits to his advantage. He’s rather accepting of most people’s walks of life, but one thing he is curious about is what drives people to join the criminal Teams despite such bad raps, and it is something he looks into a lot. He is curious by nature, and his pokédex has always been his best friend (excluding actual Pokémon and people) because he likes to use whatever he can to his advantage, in case something unexpected occurs.
He finds himself caught between two places when it comes to other people. On one hand he is very social and friendly, but often he prefers to be on his own, unless he’s met people he can consider true friends to hang around with. His biggest fault is probably his pride, because he knows he is good and has strong characteristics, but he is often able to keep that under wraps. However he tries to never underestimate someone in case they pull something unexpected out on him.
He gets rather annoyed when people compare him to the great Champion Lance from the Elite Four of Kanto and Johto, and so often introduces himself as Quinn instead to try and avoid that.

Pokémon 1: “Mac” Makuhita
Mac and Lance have been friends for a long time, even before Mac was technically Lance’s Pokémon. When Lance was only 6 and was playing around pretending to be a Pokémon trainer like all the kids did, he ended up wandering into Granite Cave and got attacked by a startled Zubat. It was at this point Mac showed up and threw rocks at the Zubat until it fled, then helped Lance up. After that day Lance often went to visit Mac in the cave and share food with him, and later on was accompanied by his Oddish, Nimh, and his first experience as a Pokémon trainer was when a passing trainer thought Mac was his Pokémon as well as Nimh and challenged him to a fight. They were successful against the first Pokémon only out of luck before Mac and Nimh was knocked out by a Pidgeotto, and after that Lance took him to the Pokémon centre. When he was accepted into the school, Mac was more than happy to accompany Lance as one of his Pokémon.

Pokémon 2: “Nimh” Oddish
Lance got Nimh when he travelled to Slateport City to watch his father battle in the gym there. 12 at the time, his father decided to give Lance a taste of a wild battle, and took him up to Route 110. They encountered an Oddish and Lance’s father taught him some of the strengths and weaknesses of particular Pokémon types. When the Oddish had taken a few hits, Lance’s father gave him the pokéball to throw, and thus Lance caught his first Pokémon. Nimh and Lance became good friends, and would often accompany Lance to visit Makuhita, and helped try to fight when they were challenged in the caves but to no avail against a Pidgeotto. When Lance was accepted into the academy Nimh was obviously going to join him, and was happy to have his friend Mac join too.

Kai had always been a tomboy and, even if not on purpose, often got into trouble. She had lived with her father who was a passionate pokemon trainer, specializing in fighting types. One day, due to an incident at his work, he lost both legs. Unable to do much more than sit he decided to teach his daughter the way of the pokemon, although he had always been reluctant and never wanted to teach her anything. She was a quick learner and once he had taught her everything he could, she left her home and started her voyage with the two pokemon he gave her. She was 11 at that time and eventually, due to various incidents, ended up in the academy.

Kai-Asa is a very, very pumped up girl. She likes to battle a lot, whether with her pokemon, by herself or any other type of contest or bet, she always wants to give it her all and win. She strongly believes that perseverance and hard training can beat elemental advantages and evolutions, and thus tries her best to prove that, partly by preventing her pokemon to evolve and partly by always matching them up the worst way possible. Due to her desire to win she can get pretty loud and vulgar at times.

Mienfoo looks like a regular one, except for the purple handkerchief he wears around his neck. His personality is same like hers, very outgoing and pumped up with an unruly desire to win. With his positive winner attitude he is great at motivating other pokemon.

The second pokemon she obtained from her father. Treecko is the exact opposite of Mienfoo. With his calm attitude he is great at calming down other pokemon. As an accessory he wears black gloves.

Since he was little, he was always fascinated with Pokémon, but he never really got into the battling side of it. Since he was a child, Dominic would always go to the Day Care center to play with the Pokémon that the Day Care Man & Lady were growing too old to do it. No matter what Pokémon it was, Dominic always loved to sit with them and play with them until they were tired. He was homeschooled and didn’t have any brothers or sisters, so he may have seen other children from the nearby city (in the department store, &c.), but if they recognized him it would not be by name or friendship, merely by a face they’d scarcely seen walking about the city with his mother or father.

Personality: Elliot is loud, outgoing, a flirt, and has a constant air of confidence about him. People tend to mistake this for him thinking he's better than they are. It seems like he's constantly into something he isn't supposed to be, usually dragging his best friend Zoe down with him when he does. He's a jerk without knowing it sometimes.

Elliot's a skeptic though, and will not hesitate to bring people back down to earth if what they are thinking or saying is out there. He will fight back if provoked, but due to the fact that he isn't all that physically strong this usually ends badly for him.

He's also got a bit of a sweet tooth. By a bit I mean, if he didn't know that you need something other than sweets to not die of obesity, then that would be all that he eats.

They tried to spend as much time with Seth as they could in their house in Olivine City, but they both had a wanderlust which often took them far away from Seth and his grandparents.

Personality: Seth is foremost an intellectual. His drive is to gain more knowledge and attending the Academy is a gateway to do so. He tends to shy away from communication with others and dislikes being in large groups. He is a bit cold to those he doesn’t know and can be unsympathetic. Although, he is steadfastly loyal to those he sees as friends and often does small things for people he considers nice. Drake is a very hyper and happy kid, who likes the thrill of battling and anything that has to do with Pokemon. He would rather hangout with Pokemon instead of people because to him Pokemon will never betray there master. He had a lot of bad experiences with making new friends and thinks hard about what he says before he talks to a person. When meeting new people he would rather see there Pokemon then talk to the trainer. Usually he could be seen either watching or listening to Pokemon battles most of the time. He has small transportable radio device he wears, with a pair of big orange head phones that he puts over his ears. If he isn't doing that he could be seen writing battle strategies in a small note pad. Drake is also a sore loser and hates to lose at anything, for example if he was taking a test and his friend is ahead of him, he would guess answers just to catch up.

Elec is a playful young pokemon, and using his extremely small size to his advantade can avoid almost any attack once 'set up' this leads to Elec being a main attacker, but to a prepared opponent can be little more than a nuisance.

Stealth Rock, Rock Blast, Spikes, Sand Tomb

Crag is his least, 'annoying' and most upfront fighter of his three pokemon, and then still, the pokemon specializes in laying traps to harm his enemies, all while living through the bnlows of his enemies. This pokemon also happens to have have hatched, very giftedly from an egg.

He has already completely decided that he will not be evolving his pokemon, and realizes this will be a hiderance. He has also decided that he wants a Yanma, Larvesta, and Nincada to round out his team, though any other bug type pokemon still interest him to no end.

Rigel is a Foongus that she has aquired during her time as a trainer... in training. the Pokemon was stupidly cute to her, and well she just had to have him. Even though the pokemon is a bit defiant of her orders, it fights for her with a persona that stretches far bigger than its body can contain.

And Aldebaran, her Murkrow, more of an annoyance than anything, she has taught her murkrow to help in her teasing and toying antics. Though at times Aldebaran cant get enough of the fun, and does the same to her. They are currently working on his 'personality problem'.

The pokemon was more of a friend and a pet rather than a pokemon to be trained and used in battle, him and Jazzy played together for their whole life, and that is the reason of why they have a strong bond with each other. Jazzy hardly went to any of the Kanto towns when he was younger, his father always visited them, though, bringing food and other kind of supplies that he could, as well as sell his wares which he collected in these icy mountains.

He's also quite shy, especially around attractive people. He is obssessed with music, as it was the only thing he had to pass time back then, and is almost all the time with his headphones with him.

Hive, a Seel. It has been his first pokemon for a long while. It's usually a playful pokemon which has also abilities outside of combat, playing with a rubber ball is an example. He's also quite loyal to Jazzy, being with him for so long. although loyal, Hive was always treated as a pet rather than a pokemon used for battling, thus is quite weak when compared to Pluff or Skillow.

He's strong, actually being close to evolving, but just because of that, he doesn't takes Jazzy seriously. It will likely take a while until Jazzy can fully trust him.

Name: Lucas Warman

Age: 16

Appearance:
Lucas is a rather Lanky young man, about 5'11" with a lean build. For his height he's slightly underweight weighing an underwhelming 120 lbs, he's obviously from these statistics alone neither fat, nor particularly muscular, just very thin. Though Lucas may lack brawn, he shouldn't be underestimated, as speed is his greatest physical asset. Luke's hair comprises mainly Brown corkscrew curls that go to about shoulder length, and usually cover up his eyes, which happen to be a sort of hazel color. The hair is never very refined, and usually frizzes off in every which way in the mornings, and to a lesser extent throughout the day.

Lucas's clothes show his social status as a Patrician. He wears a Black long sleeved button down shirt that has an army green sports jacket over it. Depending on the temperature outside, the jacket is either totally off, un-buttoned, or buttoned halfway. It is never buttoned to the top under any circumstances, nor is it ever removed, classiness is everything. His pants are dull brown dress pants, that obviously don't fit him. The pants aren't held up by a belt, but rather a pair of brown suspenders that go under his shirt. Despite the haughtiness of the outfit Lucas's shoes are rather terrible, a pair of old brown slip-ons that are showing their age. Yet he refuses to replace them.

Born to one of the Richest Couples in Maueville City, Hoenn, Lucas lived the good life right from day one. As a young boy he got all of which he wanted, movies, toys, video Games, the young Luke was the envy of his peers in Mauville. Yet when it came time for School Lucas's parents were torn between what he wanted, and what they wanted.

You see, Lucas had decided from a young age that he wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer, a real Champion, destined for glory and greatness. While his parents insisted that he got a real "respectable job" as a Doctor or Lawyer. After much debate between him and his Parents, it was decided that Lucas would be enrolled in a General School for non trainers until he could prove that he had a true knack for battling to them on the side. But there was a second side to all this.

Lucas's parents were no fools, and in the beginning wanted to get rid of his budding snobbish attitude. Something that had been growing rapidly from the start. The remedy? Simple. Send Lucas to a public school, not some specialized Trainer School. The problem? It backfired. By going to this general school Lucas met what many call the lowest common denominator. Idiots. Some were tormenting, others, simply annoying. It only hightened Lucas's attitude and resolution to get out of there. By age 15 he had proven himself to be a worthy trainer, and by age 16 his parents had no choice but to make good on their word and ship him off to the academy.

Personality: A rich man through and through, Luke is that kind of educated social elite who looks down on most as rabble. He's incredibly arrogant and haughty, and believes that fate has already put him on a path of fame, prestige and glory. Lucas is also not afraid to talk about how great he is either. "Blessed" with the gift of gab, Luke is quite articulate and a master wordsmith, but it's easy to tell that he wastes this talent on talking about himself.

So it's quite obvious that Lucas talks the talk, but does he walk the walk? Well the answer to that is, when you get down to it, a begrudging yes. He is very much a intelligent man. A fast learner with an amplitude for picking up things on the fly. However, due to his egotism, Lucas will frequently try to tackle challenges that he could never surmount. Of course when he fails, he's also quick to shift the blame away from himself. If beaten in battle once, Luke will probably say that it was just "A fluke", beat him twice, and you've earned his begrudging respect. Though don't expect him to admit anything.

When it comes to Pokemon training, Lucas is known to turn his Pokemon into fierce battlers. And puts a strict focus on raw power, offence, and ferocity. He puts his Pokemon to high, but surprisingly manageable standards when training them in order to turn them into what he believes he deserves. The best.

Lucas is also a blatant pessimist, and a cultural cynic. When not talking about himself this becomes very clear. In most situations he is sure that the worst possible outcome is likely, and has a strong dislike for most every movie, book, game, and piece of music that doesn't fit his standards.

She stumbled into the forest where she ran into a Mightyena and his pack of Poochyena. A powerful bite took hold of her leg before she was saved by a police officer's Lanturn. Since then she has been terrified of Poochyena and Mightyena, and became best friends with the Lanturn that saved her. Before she left on her journey with Cannons, the police officer that trained Lanturn gave her an egg that was found with Lanturn the day before. It hatched into a Chinchou that Mina named Sparks.

As the newest and arguably most hyper member of the teaching staff, Alyona tends to get a bit off track from time to time and seems to have trouble staying on task. She’s definitely a rambler, but unlike Mr. Green she loves her job and her passion is quite evident. If she senses pupils starting to get bored, she may jump up on her desk and start flailing about like the shameless nerd she is. And if she’s not feeling up to desk jumping, she’ll probably just start swearing a lot because BIOLOGY IS FUCKING AWESOME BITCHES.

As for subject matter, the class will help students develop a scientific mind and will explore various mysteries of the Pokemon species, such as how a living being can be made of magma ot have a body temperature of over one thousand degrees, generate amazing amounts of electricity (or produce any elemental attack for that matter), survive all the extreme attacks that they’re subject to and much more.

You wouldn‘t think a guy with a hardcore team of EV trained Pokemon and all 40 badges would be skittish and boring, but Vincent certainly is. He tends to get flustered too and isn’t the best of teachers until he‘s doing a demonstration. Battling seems to calm his frayed nerves.

As a side note, he recently went through an exceptionally nasty divorce and is more depressed, jittery and far more distracted than usual.

Battle 101 will teach students the fine in and outs of battles including how to use items to your advantage, type matchups, status problems, strategies in all four types of battles and he‘ll eventually start taking students down to the competition gym for little practice tournaments after reiterating the basics. Occasionally he‘ll pull one of the teachers that isn‘t busy in for some epic expert vs. expert battling‘ on weekends.

She’s rather fond of pranks so feel free to use her in prank wars.

The evolution class not only highlights the dozens of ways Pokemon can evolve, but will also teach students the scientific side of things by showing them how ‘fossil’ Pokemon became the modern Pokemon of today. There is also a trading machine (I don’t have a better name for it) located in her classroom that’s free to use during the time the school is open and for several hours on weekends..

History:
Abrams was born in an icy, little known Region of the world. He grew up in a place were you either learned to fight for yourself or die in the cold. His parents died shortly after his birth, and he was left to fend for himself like so many other children. He was one of the few lucky children that were taken in by a man that was determined to make the region a better place. He was very rich, and the children were well clothed and fed. But they had to work hard to live with the rich man. He made sure they worked hard in school, and even taught them martial arts to help protect them on the dangerous streets. Abrams took to like a natural, training every second of the day he wasn't studying for school. He was a smart child and received very good grades, and by the time he graduated from High school he had more Scholarship offers than he could keep up with. It wasn't long after Abrams graduated that his mentor and legal guardian passed away. Abrams took an offer from a school in Hoenn shortly afterwords, not wanting to stay on the island that held so many painful memories.

But it was a lonely road. Abrams hadn't had too many friends besides the other children his mentor had taken in, and even then they weren't too close. On his way to his first day of college, Abrams found a stray egg. Concerned for it's safety, he took it with him to give to the Pokemon care 101 teacher. But the egg didn't feel like waiting. Abrams received quiet the shock as the egg hatched as he walked in the door. The teacher declared the Torchic within to be as healthy as ever, and handed Abrams a pokeball. He now had his first real friend. Abrams dedicated most of his spare time to looking after his Pokemon, making sure the little guy was happy and taken care of. And Abram's luck only kept getting better. Not long after his second year, Abrams met his soon-to-be-wife for the first time. Their relationship grew quickly, and before they knew it, they were married. They were very happy, even though they were both still in school, and helped each other as much as possible.

And then disaster struck Abrams once again. His wife fell ill and passed away, leaving Abrams with just his Pokemon. He dropped out of college and left Hoenn with his Blaziken and the egg his wife had been raising. He searched for a new place to call home for a while, before eventually stumbling upon the position for a Gym teacher at a new school for new trainers.

Personality:
To get this out of the way, Abrams has a very thick Russian accent. It's not uncommon for him to start speaking in Russian at random, which often confuses his students. During class, he is a brutal man. He screams in both English and Russian for his students to work harder and often times overworks them, but it's always because he wants them to become strong. He's never out of words of encouragement for his students, and will never let them quit.

Outside of class, he is a caring, protective individual. He tries to become friends with as many students as possible, despite his tendencies to work them to the bone in class. He is a comedic man, and will often times be seen laughing as he walks about the school. A number of the students fear him, tough, since he doesn't tolerate any one slacking off or being mean to other students. He's been known to send people fly down hallways if a fight breaks out, and never lets troublemakers go unpunished.

Appearance:

He often wears a long overcoat which extends to his knees during most of the year, only taking it off during summer. He always wears a vest with his six core pokemon on him and in his coat are many other pokemon, because he dislikes cramming them into the storage boxes.

History:
Born and raised in Viridian City, Kanto, Alexander spent most of his childhood traveling Kanto and climbing his way through the rankings, taking down gym leader after gym leader. He never went on to the elite four, finding them to not be worth the endeavor and would then travel to a new region to take on all the gyms and repeat the process, methodically crushing trainers and gym leaders alike. By the age of twenty-six, he had defeated every gym leader in the known regions and had moved on to attempting to capture every pokemon known to man. Since then he has taken up the job of teaching “capture techniques” in order to fund his searches for the rarer of pokemon and he has become known as one of the best teachers in the subject. Now he has taken up working in the pokemon academy because of a rumor of there being a very unique pokemon on the island. In his spare time he often toys around with pokeballs, having spent much of his time while traveling to examine the workings of pokeballs, so that he can make his more powerful or more capable than the modern series

He was completely oblivious to any sort of pain from the shocks and continued digging until it found its snack, which turned out not to be mushrooms but a very displeased Parasect. Alexander noticed a Paras and dragged it over to the feeding Rhyhorn, who hungrily ate it up and then took to following Alexander like a puppy. Since that day, Alexander has always kept Kratos by his side.

Moveset: X-Scissor, Iron Head, Metal Claw, Iron Defense, Swords Dance, Quick Attack
History: Alexander found Shredder, named after the main villain of his favourite cartoon, when he was exploring the Kanto safari and stumbled upon Scyther. Alexander immediately dumped all of his food on the ground and tossed a rock at the Scyther, causing her to go berserk and charge him. That is, until it stumbled on the food and then dropped to the ground, hungrily devouring all of it until her stomach was bound to burst. Once the Scyther seemed pleased, Alexander pulled out his pokeball and captured the Scyther -now Scizor-, no strings attached. Shredder typically stays out of her pokeball when Alexander is not indoors and follows behind him quietly.

Species: Vileplume
Name: Sandman
Gender: Male

Moveset: Sleep Powder, Petal Dance, Solar Beam, Mega Drain
History: Alexander caught Kratos in mid bite on a vileplume who managed to release spores which knocked out Kratos without any effort. Alexander was so impressed by this pokemon’s powerful spores that he captured him and nicknamed him Sandman because of how little effort he took to make other pokemon go to sleep.

Species: Galvantula
Name: Fuzz
Gender: Male

Moveset: Thunder Wave, Fury Cutter, Thunderbolt, Cut, Struggle Bug, Flash
History: Fuzz was found as a Joltik that was clinging to Kratos’s back trying to shock the everloving fuck out of him, to no avail. When Shredder tried to remove the feisty critter, she was shocked so severely that she was unable to move for nearly a week after. Alexander, one he was done laughing, caught the pokemon and raised it carefully so that it would make an excellent addition to his core team.

Species: Froslass
Name: Queen
Gender: Female

Moveset: Powder Snow, Taunt, Icy Wind, Headbutt
History: Discovered in a snowstorm while Alexander was exploring a series of mountain ranges with Shredder, Queen made herself known by freezing Shredder and trying to freeze him. Shredder managed to break free and attack the Froslass, beating it until it was unable to stand, though by that time Shredder was incredibly injured as well. Alexander couldn’t resist adding such a tenacious fighter to his arsenal and took her in.

Species: Scolipede
Name: Slick
Gender: Male

Moveset: Toxic, Giga Impact, Venoshock, Bug Bite, Schreech, Dig
History: Slick joined the team when Alexander found it and had Froslass freeze it. Though this was after it burst from the ground, poisoned Kratos and knocked out Sandman. Froslass managed to freeze him with relative ease by freezing a layer of poisonous liquid which he vomited on himself to poison anything he came in direct contact with. He is extremely rowdy and is only released from his pokeball when Alexander needs a ferocious force.

Extra:
He tends to have many more pokemon on him at all time, though the mentioned pokemon are his core group.

An impatient outspoken writer, he loves activity and while can deal with classes. Usually cant be found sitting still. He's willing to do anything, and obsolutely despises wasting time. Thoguh, at times being lazy can't be considered wasting time, taking a nap isn't wasting time right? I thought so.

Bug Pokemon, fighting, girls, writing, being outside.

Dislikes:
Bullies, work, wasting time, waiting.

Sweet Scent, Mist, Bubblebeam, Rain Dance

No doubt a poemon with a personality, Veil is a rather skittish pokemon, timid almost, and would rather not see battle, and only take what some would say is a cheap shot. And that leads to the point why Veil is simply a supporter, and not an attacker in fighting.

♂ Elec (Joltik) {Compound Eyes} [Silver Powder]
Toxic, Electroweb, Thunder Wave, Leech Life

Elec is a playful young pokemon, and using his extremely small size to his advantade can avoid almost any attack once 'set up' this leads to Elec being a main attacker, but to a prepared opponent can be little more than a nuisance.

♂ Crag (Dwebble) {Sturdy} [Rocky Helmet]
Stealth Rock, Rock Blast, Spikes, Sand Tomb

Crag is his least, 'annoying' and most upfront fighter of his three pokemon, and then still, the pokemon specializes in laying traps to harm his enemies, all while living through the bnlows of his enemies. This pokemon also happens to have have hatched, very giftedly from an egg.

Extra:
He has already completely decided that he will not be evolving his pokemon, and realizes this will be a hiderance. He has also decided that he wants a Yanma, Larvesta, and Nincada to round out his team, though any other bug type pokemon still interest him to no end.

Aquila is a rather smart young woma, though, you wouldn't pick that up from how she acts. She is as close to an airhead as you can get, and is a bit of a flirt. She can maintain composure in 'high pressure' situations, and has an idea on how to get out of near everything. And if she cant figure a way out of something, well theres always an excuse for it.

Likes:
Teasing, Cute pokemon, winning, sweet food, reading.

Dislikes:
Being teased, large pokemon, losing, spicy food.

♀ Saiph (Litwick) {Flame Body} [Binding Band]
Hex, Will-o-Wisp, Fire Spin, Ember

Saiph is her litwick, a simple, derpy candle like pokemon. She thought she was cute, and with her shy, and derpy persona, she couldnt help but love the girl. And the fact that Saiph basically willingly entered her pokeball didn't maker her job hard at all. And now the two work together to overcome any challenge.

♂ Rigel (Foongus) {Effect Spore} [Black Sludge]
Toxic, Faint Attack, Mega Drain, Sweet Scent

Rigel is a Foongus that she has aquired during her time as a trainer... in training. the Pokemon was stupidly cute to her, and well she just had to have him. Even though the pokemon is a bit defiant of her orders, it fights for her with a persona that stretches far bigger than its body can contain.

♂ Aldebaran (Murkrow) {Super Luck} [Scope Lens]
Thief, Featherdance, Tailwind, Pluck

And Aldebaran, her Murkrow, more of an annoyance than anything, she has taught her murkrow to help in her teasing and toying antics. Though at times Aldebaran cant get enough of the fun, and does the same to her. They are currently working on his 'personality problem'.
