Soul just followed...
Zephar had stayed with Grace.
Centehua ran over to the exit, "My mother always took me to this cave that is said to have been before the city was ever made. Our ancestors wrote on the walls, a prediction of some sort. We need to look it up." He ran out and made his way to the cave.

As he ran to the cave he felt like a pup again while his mother is right beside him. He never thought to come back to this again since her death. He reached the cave and saw the lone torch lit. He grabbed it and walked in. He kept walking then saw the markings on the wall. He placed the torch down and pointed with his nose. "This is it."
Markings of canines all fighting these monsters that seem ready to gobble up the town. "My mother told me a story of what these mean. She said, One day a great darkness strucked the city where the water dried up and city peril. Monsters came to the city to eat it up. The canines didn't allow this so they are banded together and fought." He started to move down looking at the pictures changing. "The monsters proved to be stronger and the city seemed lost. Then one canine stood above the mass. This canine had brought a power to the few canine who become the guardians of the city. They fought against monsters with weapons and powers that seem godly. The monsters retreated but the guardians wouldn't let them. They destroyed them entirely hoping they would never return again. She told me that this power was only found when one canine goes inside the temple with devine permission from the messager and able to gain the gods' trust and blessing."
He looked down with a sigh. "Now the question who would do that? I already know I can't since...well....I'm not guardian material since I failed the king. If my father was still alive, I know he can do it without hesitation." He sat down and started to think.

Soul looked at Centehua. "That's a load of crap..." She yelled. "One wolf beating an entire army of monsters by himself?" She growled. "Such fairytales." Soul told him. "I don't need no god's permission." She roared and left the cave. "I'll hunt them down myself..." She thought.
Windstream was in the forest by herself. Her hearing was still odd feeling. She decided to work alone because she was feeling out of place.

Centehua looked at Soul with pity as she ran away. "She acts like the god's should not exsist. If she tries to fight them then....well she might not come back." The German Sheperd walked out of the cave and placed the torch back in its place. He wanted Grace to feel more safe protected and why not hide her in a place that is rare to find. The paws of this worried but brave canine ran back to the throne room to meet Grace and Star. "Grace, I found a place of where you can hide. The Sacred Cave is hidden in the forest in the farthest part of the canyon. I'm sure that place is safe for you."

Etalpalli looked at the entrance of the cave where Windstream left out from. He felt some concern but his heart is so currupted he just brushed it off. "The sun is almost gone. I can't wait." He whined like a little pup.
Meztli brush the fur on his face as he waited.
Yaotl sat down with the ancient lantern and seemed to meditate while a sinister red aura glowed around him.

Centehua nodded, "Yes. We must hurry for we only got until sun down." He lead the way to the cave.
Meanwhile, the king sat in the temple core talking with the gods. "But who? And what do you mean?"
The room spun around until it stopped on a statue. It started to glow in green. "The one will heed to your call. This one, however, needs your permission to prove their worth to us."
A statue to his left glowed in yellow. "Yes, the guardians shall rise again and this time they will be stronger to combat the enemy."
"What if the one won't appear. We have little of time and not enough to find out who the chosen one is. We need an answer soon." the king pleaded but he knows he is defeated in answers.
"The one will come to your call when that one is ready to accept their fate as guardian and will find other guardians that they too will accept as well." The two statues chimed together then slowly faded away in the darkness. The king sighed and left the chamber trying to collect his thoughts. "Who? Who will come?"
(I probably might do a another challenge for this. I don't know.)

Zephar went with Grace to try to make her feel better.
Soul was laying down in the forest. "Go alone? Or wait for help? Or get help from back home?" She asked herself. "No,no,no... If I go back then Sentuno would definitely have me in trouble..." She continued to debate.
Windstream was mixing the ingredients together. Now to add the black smoke. She thought. She added the black smoke into her pot. The pot started to glow and bounce around. The pot started to flip and flop onto the ground. "Have I done it?" Windstream asked. Some sort of giant glob of flesh was coming out of the pot. It was starting to form into some sort of monster. When it finished it let out a large roar that pierced Windstream's remaining ear. "Damn! He's loud." She yelled to herself. The monster looked at her for a second. Windstream smiled. It had worked.
