Opening her eyes when her name was spoken, Ka’liya looked up at Adriel with strange eyes. Her pupils were white, and her iris, which had once harbored gray flecks in a light blue pool, were now midnight blue eyes with dots of purple. Surrounding the iris, Ka’liya’s eyes were black, almost the complete reverse of a human’s eyes. Her white pupils were the result of the visions she once had as a seer. Now she would always see through those eyes, time losing its linear nature, and the past, present, and future all laid out in front of her. She saw him gesture for her to get up, and herself following him through a portal. She saw his eyes study her as if they had known her for eons, but her past was still nothing.

“Hello.” Ka’liya said, the sound echoing in her head before she even opened her mouth. Good morning sleepyhead The words rang in her mind, and she saw the male demon grin, but that had yet to happen…or happened once before. Looking down at her body, Ka’liya planted her thin long fingers, which largely resembled claws more than human appendages. She twisted her body, planting her knees on the ground, and pushing herself up to standing. Even at her full height, Ka’liya reached just above his waist.

Adriel was the demon who devoured her soul, and even though Ka’liya didn’t know this, she knew that this demon was the one to which she had to answer. She was drawn to him, and every path forward that she saw had her following him. He was her master, and she would follow him obediently as they stepped through a portal he created and went to his home.

Though she was oblivious to the strangeness of her nude state, the gasp from a young voice implied that someone else was quite surprised indeed. “Daddy?” Mina asked, hopping down from the chair upon which she had been perched. “Did you bring me a new-“ Her words cut off when the newly born demon glanced her way. Mina was drawn to her body first, though that was nothing new for the female demon, and then to her face. Her features, they were strange…and yet… “Ka’liya?” She asked.

In that moment, Ka’liya saw many things. Mina could run over and tackle her, or walk over leisurely and grope at her curves. Adriel might scold his daughter, or wave her off, demanding that she leave in a tone that even Mina knew to respect. In another moment, Ka’liya saw him sigh, and begin to explain the bargain that he had yet to fulfill, the contract. So many possibilities. She turned from Mina to Adriel, waiting to learn what would occur outside of her mind.

She seemed taken back. Blinking a bit as she curiously peered at the new demon, "It is, isn't it?" She questioned, her voice raising slightly in excitement, her tail twitching from side to side, and in the next moment, she had bounced over, throwing her arms around the naked demon, as Adriel's voice sounded, "She's here only until I hold up my end of our bargain." He commented, Mina craning her head towards him, "You... harvested a soul without fulfulling the contract?" She raised a brow, "Isn't that careless?"
"No, that is improvising. Given the nature of our agreement, and her... condition, it was not possible for me to hold of my end of our deal." He explained as he watched Mina let her arms loose from around the girl's neck, "Now, go and get some clothes for her." He waved her off, looking towards Ka'liya.

    Ah, where to start?

It was obvious that this reborn version of Ka'liya didn't remember everything from before. It was almost amusing how even after destroying her, he was still drawn and forced to her. His contract bonded him to her still. After all, a deal was a deal, and even in death, she had survived. Changed and twisted into a new form thanks to Adriel's taint.

    But...

He had known this would happen.
Now that she was here before him...

He kicked his lips a bit, unsure what to do now that he had his prize.

Mina entering the room once more with a small stack of folded clothes, various outfits- all quite skimpy due to Mina's personal taste, all stacked for Ka'liya to choose from.
A calming voice echos in the distance.
I want to sleep, but I still hear you singing.
    All around me is unreachable darkness;
Someone take me away from this torture.
I want to be apart of the darkness that surrounds you.
Losing all sanity and losing purity.
Just one lonely dove surrounded by corrupted crows.
There's no escape from this light that just won't let go.

Listening to the words that Adriel said to Mina, possibilities began to fade and others blossomed. She turned her attention to the meaning of the words. Harvest…Daddy… Contract…Adriel Ka’liya didn’t even realize that she was speaking the common threads between all of the possibilities that she had seen. “Adriel.” She repeated, looking up at the demon as Mina left the room. She pulled the name from the possibility of another demon entering furiously and angrily scolding him. That possibility didn’t play out, though, and it faded from her mind as Mina returned.

Ka’liya looked through the clothing and then arched her eyebrow. “What…are these for?” She asked.

“Clothing, so that you aren’t running around naked!” Mina replied, giggling again.

Ka’liya looked up, having already heard that answer. “Would you really like me to put clothes on?” She asked, stepping closer to Mina, who eyed her body hungrily. Before Mina could pounce on top of her, which she saw in quite a few scenarios, she turned to Adriel, “Perhaps not, but you would.” Ka’liya was drawn to obeying him. He had demanded clothing for her, and so she began to pick out something and put it on. The outfit was blue, and had a thong, short skirt, and a top that fastened like a bra. Mina helped with the clips, as Ka’liya couldn’t control her wings enough to do it herself. She felt the smooth touch of the girl’s hand on her back and she let out a contented sigh.

When she was dressed, Ka’liya turned back to Adriel. “So then Adriel, we have a contract that must be fulfilled?” She asked, as she hadn’t figured out exactly what the obligation was

Adriel smirked a bit, hearing his name spill off of her tongue, turning those crimson hues onto her, and he stepped towards her, "Indeed." He purred slightly, hearing her question that followed once she had dressed, "I must admit, it's an obligation that I have to you." He reached up, running the back of his fingertips down the side of her cheek, tilting his head a bit, "I promised to teach you how to deal with demons. How to fight against them...." He stated, "And until I fulfill that, our contract will remain in effect...."

How he hated the thought, deep down in his core. To be tied down and bonded... even if it was through a contract he had been agreeing to make.
Once a demon gave his word, there was nothing to take it back.

Not only that, but Adriel had already collected on the soul that had been handed over to him in return.

Mina had crepted across the room, settling down in one of the various seats that filled the room, propped up on her elbow with her hand resting against her face, her other arm resting against her own body, her forearm resting in the curve of her hip, smirking a bit, "Then that means that Ka'liya will be with us for a while, yes~?" her tail coiled about her own leg slightly, waiting for Adriel's answer, though, there was no need. She knew that her father wouldn't be able to leave Ka'liya's side until their contract was completed. She knew that he couldn't resist that call, that he couldn't simply walk out on the deal he had made with the girl.

And he knew what thoughts crept though Mina's head, crimson hues turning towards the succubus who laid stretched out on the couch, "This does not concern you, Mina." He stated, his tone holding a darkened edge that only made Mina smirk even more, her smile almost reminiscent of her father's. Sensing a spike of jealousy in Adriel's tone.

Of course, Adriel was very wrong. It did concern Mina that Ka’liya was staying with them. Ka’liya looked from Mina to Adriel with a smile on her face. There were so many possibilities for the paths ahead.

Ka’liya flirted with Mina, and Adriel demanded that they get to training. Ka’liya picked up quickly, but grew into an adult rather quickly. Much more easy-going than her human self, Ka’liya woke up quite a few times beside Mina, not particularly caring when Adriel grew cross with her. She spent years, by any human standards, training for physical combat with Adriel. Over that time her memories came, but she did not speak of them, having no need for the past. Adriel taught her many things he knew, and she learned how to shapeshift, heal, and even communicate telepathically a bit, all remnants from their bond when she was still human. Ka’liya never spoke of her visions to Adriel or Mina, though it wasn’t difficult for them to know that something else was going on. Ka’liya could dodge blows that she had no right foreseeing. Her mage gifts were the only reason that she was able to eventually defeat Adriel, marking the fulfillment of the contract.

Moving out on her own, Ka’liya established her own lair. She didn’t tell Adriel where she went, and he seemed content to crawl back into his cave without her. Mina stopped in a few times, but that ended when Ka’liya found her way back to an old poisons shop. Ka’liya was wearing a terribly seductive dress, though there was far from enough cloth to call it a dress proper. Raishena was bent beneath the counter, and called out for the demon who entered to hang on just a second. Ka’liya waited in silence, walking up to the counter. When Raishena rose, Ka’liya greeted her with a smile. The demon knew who she was in a moment, and as she opened her mouth to speak, Ka’liya pressed her lips against Raishena’s. The greed demon never had a chance to resist Ka’liya, not that she wanted to, however. They embraced warmly, and quite a few more poisons were knocked to the floor as they became reacquainted with each other.

Though that was far from the only path she could take, it was certainly one possibility.

    ~~End.~~
