Jonathan walked with some of the Elite Force of Asearma. They had just got their mission: see if the rumors about Nathaniel are true, and if they are, put a stop to them. "Well, they said that the Elven city of Heph-Shal might have answers, or at least a place to start. I don't suppose anyone here knows any transportation spells?" Jonathan asked. Walking all the way to Heph-Shal sounded like a bad idea, and it would take days. So if Nathaniel was actually in Heph-Shal, or near it, he could be long gone by the time they got there. A transportation spell would be the bees knees.

Kayako emerged out of the darkrness at the graveyard she was buried at, or what wasleft of her. She stood there examining her surroundings. Am I alive, again. How is this even possible.

Rosseau smiled smugly and he hung upside down from his tree, small bat-like wings folded behind him.
"Kufufufufu! Just a little longer, and they'll fall right into my trap!" he chuckled to himself in his feminine voice.

And surely enough, a small wagon pulled by a single Ox came flopping through the woods. The Ox stepped right onto the button trigger, causing several brightly colored skeins of paint to catapult from the bushes on either side of the road and pelt the wagin, Ox, and driver.

Rosseau nearly fell over laughing, sitting back upright on the tree branch, kicking his legs as he laughed.
"Hahaha! Oh my Satan, you actually fell for it! You walked straight into it! Pahahahaha!" he shouted. The driver shook his fist at him.
"You bloody cretin! How dare you play that joke on me! I'll pay you back for this, you cross-dressing runt!" he bellowed angrily as he began to throw his produce, ripe watermelons, at the young vampire.

"Aw crap!" Rosseau shrieked as he dodged the melons, transforming into a bat and flying for his life.
"You can't run forever, you creep! I'll get you eventually!" came the angry shouts from below. He sweat dropped and quickly fluttered away, landing near a graveyard.
"Haa! That was a close one! If I hadn't dodged, I'd be spitting seeds for weeks!" he lamented, transforming back into a normal vampire. His ability was uncommon, to say the least. Most vampires had their wings permanently attached to their human-like body, having evolved out of the bat transformation long ago. Others still could have their wings appear when they wished, like a summoning charm. He was unique in the bat-transformation.

He stood up, shaking his purple hair. He glanced around him, noticing to his horror that he had landed near a cross shaped tombstone. Without even having a chance to react, he promptly vomited on the ground, a mixture of foamy spittle and blood. He wiped his mouth as he moved away from the cross. He hated when that happened.

Kane walked down the streets. Demon blood on his hands. In his bag was a heart of a demon. He held his katana over his shoulder. He looked around and went to the graveyard.

Zaina sat on a cliff edge. She looked out at the sea and smiled she silently sung a song to herself. "Sweet dreams are made of these....who am I to disagree...

In a Field about 900 miles away from Heph-Shal

Paul was in wolf form running on all fours. He had just woken up an immediately transformed into a wolf. He could transform whenever he wanted but he had to transform during a full moon and stay in wolf form all night until the next time the sun rose. After transforming,he then began to run. He felt great. Strong and fast and healthy. That was how he felt. The sun was shining down.The golden waves warmed his thick fur as he sprinted across the vast countryside on this great day. Winter was ending and spring was just beginning. Everything was coming back to life. Paul's life was meaningless right now. He mostly just exercised, hunted and fished. He had no purpose and that thought began to take some of the luster out of his day and his run. He began to lose speed but continued on hoping to find something to give his life meaning.

Malachi
6:45 am
In the outskirts of Heph-Shal

Malachi was standing in human form and looking out the window. Upon a small nearby hill was a couple of vampires who had a farm. They weren't in it for the money.They were growing their own food. They apparently didn't drink from humans but from livestock. They were outside now tending to the animals hurrying before the sun rose too high in the sky. The male didn't interest him but the female did. Malachi wasn't even sure what he wanted her for, but he knew maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but eventually he would kill the male, burn the house and farm, and take the female. He continued to watch them from the place that was currently his home, being able to see everything with his good eyesight.

After having a mage teleport Jonathan to the city of Heph-Shal, he began investigating around the local gangs and bars for information about Nathaniel. He didn't pick up much, since Elves aren't really that friendly to outsiders. It did seem that someone, even if it wasn't Nathaniel was building an army. Jonathan continued his search around the city, unsure where to go.

Kayako wlked down a path from the graveyard leading into an old house, it seemed uninhabited, so she decided to set up camp there. After setting up, she walked into town, hoping to find any signs of life.

After running for an hour, Paul stopped. He rolled on his back and held his paws in the air. He needed to find a settlement before night fall.


Eventually, Malachi went to the town market, in human form. The town market was a large square at the northernmost point of the town. It was a place where sellers, traders, performers, cons, thieves, and everyone else gather during the day. It was surrounded by four building. To the north was the largest town inn. To the south was the most popular bar which was also a liquor store. A couple of yards to the east of the market was the back of enormous city hall building which was the center of everything official: politicians, royalty, police, military; all operated out of city hall. To the west, was the back of the cultural hall, where people gathered to observe and buy art and music. Most important things that happened in the city happened in town market. Malachi got in the line of an orange vendor and waited he was the fourth person in line. There were all kinds of people at the market. Magicians and future seers and omniscient beings. Any information or item you want was available if you knew the right person and could pay the right price.

Nikolaos was relaxed as he walked through the city, however he was beginning to get hungry. He hadn't fed in a few days and was getting weaker by the minute. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and began searchimg for a snack, hopefully a large male with green eyes. So he ran into the closest thicket of trees he could find, and sooner that he thought, he was him a large man with green eyes! He couldn't help himself, he began to sing "A drop in the ocean, a change in the weather..." The man looked at him then, his eyes glazing over a bit from the vocal hypnosis.

Moving closer to him, Nikolaos asked "What is your name?" his voice seductive and low, the answer he recieved was just as seductive but with a slight edge. "Kanda, Kanda Lee." feeling that he couldn't take anymore, Nikolaos closed the distance between them and planted a kiss on Kanda's lips, draining his life force. Before long he was full and Kanda was dead.

'You are such a sucker for green eyes! Pansy' the voice of Legolas rang through his ears, he tried to ignore it but it was only getting worse, meaning only one thing, a woman was muchcloser to him than he thought.

Turning around, he saw her, a little girl with big green eyes. He couldn't stop himself from saying, "Little girl, why are you following me?" being much nicer to the child than he would an adult, even Legolas wouldn't go as far as to kill a childe even if it was a girl. However the girl didn't answer. So he asked another question, "Little girl what is your name?" his voice ringing almost musically. "Lee-leena Lee, my name is Leena Lee." she answered, shuffling her feet cutely.

"Well Leena Lee, can you tell me why you are following me?" he asked again before the girl simply nodded her head and responded. "I'm following you because you look like Kanda, my dead big brother." At first he thought it was a bit disturbing that the girl would follow him because of that, but what he found more disturbing was the fact that she could talk about her dead brother with a smile.

Understanding that, he turned to leave but was halted when he felt something tug at his pants. Looking down he was the girls smiling face before she said, "Piggy back ride?" Sighing, he knew he couldn't say no so he lowered his body so she could jump on. After she was on he began moving again. All the while wondering why the sister of one of his victims wanted to be near him.

Paul let out a loud howl. He was now about 800 miles from Heph-Shal. He was lonely and purposeless until he got there. He got up and continued to run his paw forcefully hitting the ground.

Malachi crossed his arms and looked around while he continued to wait in line. He need several oranges but did not like to wait in line.
