Though, with any luck, it might not be dangerous even if he couldn't assuming the other werewolves were right about him. Considering he could turn in broad daylight he assumed they were. Should he tell Shayne that? She knew there were other wolves, and she knew he knew and had been around them. How much should he tell her? Would they know if he told her anything? What would happen then?

Poppy was almost more trouble than she was worth, but she'd stood right in front of him while he'd turned, and had still been waiting around totally unconcerned when he'd woken up afterward. He could deduce that somehow she could handle him even when he was turned and she wasn't. He needed to know everything she knew. But at the expense of keeping things from Shayne? Of course it was no longer a matter of hiding things from Shayne for fear of her reaction, but for fear of the werewolves. They'd explicitly told him to keep his mouth shut. That said he was a little sore over Poppy shooting him with a machine gun. He'd tell Shayne soon, but they were supposed to be enjoying each others company right now, so it could wait.

"You know, someday I'll explain everything I know about what I am, but not today." Today was too special to be talking about those kinds of things. Instead he grabbed her hand and intertwined his fingers with hers, even linking their arms. Normally holding hands meant that he was lazy and Shayne was impatient and he was being dragged about like a rag doll. This time was "just because." Shayne was his. Really his. Forever. "So... uh... e-everyone wants to keep you locked away these days. Now that I've broken you out-" And by broken out he meant walking out the front door unimpeded. "-what do you want to do?" Personally, he was fine with walking and walking and walking and then also walking as long as he didn't have to let her go, but he hadn't taken her out of the safety of her house just so he could hold her hand.

Still she finally thought of something and turned to him. "I want to go get ice cream. Sorry that its nothing fun,amd extravagant but I really,want ice cream. Its a vice."

Much like he was. But now he would always be her vice.

[Oh, OK. Sorry, I hope I didn't make you think I wasn't replying just because I thought the post was sub par. I'll admit I was a little off put by it, but mostly I just got swamped by college in the last few weeks. I had to survive two days with only about 2 hours of sleep. Since I'm still kinda busy I'll wait for your new post and try to respond this weekend. I just have to survive one last project then I get a tiny break before finals next week... TT_TT . Sorry I haven't posted or said anything. Just... so... tired...]
