I have never been able to see that I have read a certain thread. How can you tell, even?
^ This is a different problem entirely, and I know exactly what's going on here.
So, say you are on "roleplayerguild.com", and then you have a link that takes you to "www.roleplayerguild.com". It doesn't seem like much of a difference, and really it is the exact same website, but for some reason, web browsers tend to save separate sets of cookies for these two sites. You're logged into "roleplayerguild.com" but not "www.roleplayerguild.com". All it is is a problem with the link, as it apparently included the "www.". Or, you're currently online from the "www.", which the link didn't have. Either way, it's a different set of cookies, so you'll be logged out on it, while remaining logged in on the other. Which also explains why you can stay logged in on the one tab but you won't be on the other.
Edit: All I can suggest you do to fix that is to log into the "other" RPGuild (whichever one you don't typically use) and tell it to keep you logged in there. Then your browser will keep cookies for both and you won't need to worry.

Like this.In this case, "read" is synonymous with "no new posts", which, outdated threads aside, is pretty much true. Evidently, it's something that you've never taken note of, so, obviously it doesn't bother you.
It also highlights the topic in bold lettering as opposed to regular.
And thanks, so my friends are at fault for copying the web address in an odd manner compared to what I have? Heheh.
Pretty much.I'm assuming you actually type "www." when you access the site, whereas most members here (myself included) are too lazy to. Join us on the lazy side and you should have a relatively smooth transition across links from now on.

No, I don't type in www either, considering it's always been the one I use. I guess the others I know are the ones who do.
Either way, this not being marked as read problem might be a forum corruption lingering, maybe.
