    Fantasy roleplay/storytelling[Casual - Advanced]

I've noticed there aren't very many fantasy RPs posted in the Interest Check bit of the forum and the only one I've found is more suited for those who enjoy the technical side of things. I'm looking for a completely story-and-character-driven roleplaying experience. Basically what I want is a group of people coming together and writing a story based on a basic premise while being directed where it should go by a storyteller. I don't have a story to go by as of yet, but I just wanted to see if there was any interest in that kind of thing. So please reply if you have anything to say :3

If we're on the same page that's exactly what i'm into :]. Something like D&D would be great. Guns in RPG's don't really appeal to me though, so personally i'd prefer a ban on them, unless perhaps they were along the lines of muskets, of which require a decent re-loading time.

You have my attention- I prefer story driven/character stories- I find fantasy appealing as well. What kind of tone were you looking for?
game of thrones/ lord of the rings? d&d? Castlevania? JRPG: chrono cross, final fantasy? ...?

It's great to see positive responses :3 So maybe now when I'm not distracted and not tired I can explain better:

Basically I'm looking for a roleplay that utilizes no set stats or things like that. It would just people coming together and writing a story together, following a basic plotline that would be changed around if necessary. There would be a storyteller or 'dungeon master' to decide things that could have multiple outcomes reasonably and in a way that would up the fun and excitement.

As for the feel I'd be going for.... It would be like the magic of D&D meets the politics and social conventions of Game of Thrones. Of course it would(hopefully) be a completely original world, but the flavour would be there. And to Goblin: Don't worry, I really dislike guns in a fantasy setting. Except for large, bulky ship cannon things. Pirate style.

sounds great! definitely what I'm looking for.
and yeah- I was only mentioning those IPs as examples- not asking if it was fan based or anything of that nature.

This sounds right up my alley. I'd love to join and if there's a world building process I'd be more than happy to help

    Probably somewhere around 5.

I just have to make a bit of a guideline of what I want out of this world and then people will fill in details and add things I didn't think of and remove things they don't like.
