Human technology progressed at the same rate for five years beyond 2012 then increased dramatically in a single year. The cause for this dramatic jump was found in the wreckage of what humans could only guess was alien technology. The wreckage wasn't localized, in fact it was spread throughout the world, with large pieces found here and there while smaller debris could be found just about anywhere. With such a wide spread it was impossible to calculate or triangulate exactly where it all came from not to mention hard for anyone government or organization to monopolize on the research production and management of new technologies. They tried, the rich and powerful tried, to seize all the alien technology for them selves. A large portion of them died from overexposure to radiation that is still little understood, however in some of the smaller pieces of tech the secret to containing the radiation was discovered.

It took roughly eight months for researchers to be able to contain and neutralize the radiation leaving the population of the world exposed, even when the Absorption Tech was developed it was hard to get it distributed properly. Almost three billion of earths population sick and dieing from the strange radiation that was later called Cell-Z as the three major tech companies fought over how to distribute the Absorption Tech while mostly concerned over who would be paying for it. Neodine, QuantumMech, and Researchers for Tomorrow have gained a lot of support and power since day one, they are the Tech Trinity.

With the progression of tech people began to see it as a part of life instead of the tool it used to be. That’s when people started incorporating it into their life, body, and minds. There are three primary forms of body augmentation that are supported by the authority of the Tech Trinity body enhancements, sensory augments, and brain discs. However with the legal comes the illegal, primarily weapon enhancements and genetic augmentation (For the most part everyone agrees that being human is the only thing that would make them truly unique, however not everyone would agree.) With tech at its highest point in human history crime had actually lessened. The calm before the storm. Rich and powerful people hire there own private armies of augmented men and women to prepare for a war between the rich.

With the approval of the worlds governments the Tech Trinity organized their first real collaboration project. The goal of this project being a specialized task force that would insure the safety of the Trinity while maintaining piece throughout the world. Every member of the project was selected based on their morality, ethics, and religion(not what religion just if they had one.) The most unique principal that leaked into the project was this; no rules. They were given free reign, they took it, even experimenting with the forbidden genetic and weapons tech. After all they had to fight crime with... crime, sometimes its hard to understand politics not to mention the human mind but they did their best on the latter. To date there are 700 augmented men and women broken down into ten teams patrolling the ten sectors of the globe.

This is the story of one of those groups.

Well first off, YAY for interest. As far as Advanced goes... I don't know if I'm up for GMing a game at that level, I fear it may be beyond my meager capabilities.
