You: I am a lvl 17 wizard
You: let's go destroy the evil demon Grezmog
You: shall you aide me on my quest?
Stranger: I shall, hand me my sword
You: *hands him the ancient sword, Daemonbane*
You: we shall be victorious brother
Stranger: Sister*
You: but first, we must traverse the evil forest of Kallog
You: whatevs :P
You: You go first, I'm but a were wizard
You: mere*
Stranger: lolz onward my helpfull wizard, we shall take this journey together
You: *as we step through the forest, the sun begins to droop beneath the canopy of leaves as the moon rises in the distance*
You: *the night is cold, the scent of pine needles and moist earth fills your nostrils as you and your companion step ever onward into the black night*
Stranger: Haha * keep an ear out my young wizard
You: *it's quiet, save for the crunching of earth beneath your feet*
Stranger: Never know what lurks around at night
You: *suddenly, the silence is broken by a hideous, wailing shriek as shadows begin to dart back and forth from deeper within the forest*
You: what do you do?
Stranger: I need light my younge wizard so I may see what it is I am up against
You: *as you turn to speak to your companion, you notice he is no longer there and you are now alone in the night*
You: *then you hear another shriek, this time closer*
Stranger: *I draw my sword* come at me beast!!!
You: *the pounding of feet gets louder and louder, then suddenly stops*
You: *directly in front of you, you see two piercing red eyes glaring at you*
You: *the red eyes move up higher and higher, as if a great beast is standing up*
Stranger: I take a step back
You: *now the glistening of thousand of needle sharp teeth come into view, as the creature jumps at you, letting out a blood curdling howl*
You: THERE'S STILL TIME TO ACT BEFORE HE IS UPON YOU
You: WHAT DO YOU DO?
Stranger: *I show no fear and stab it through the skull
You: *as you lunge towards the beast, you underestimate it's agility*
You: *it quickly bounds out of the way as your sword swishes through the air*
You: *Then it launches it's own attack, reaching out with a twisted, sharp claw to gut you*
You: <rolling>
Stranger: Lol
You: *you manage to dodge the beast's fell claw, but still sustain a grazing wound* [-1 hit points]
Stranger: I laugh and slice it's hand
You: <rolling>
You: *you're sword strikes true and with a clean swipe, you remove the beast's arm just above the elbow as black blood splurts out*
You: *the beast howls in agony and retreats into the night*
You: *soon all is quiet again*
Stranger: I go on a search for my companion
You: <rolling>
You: *you spend the better part of an hour searching the black woods, but since your visibility is so low it's hard to make out anything*
You: *after stubbing you toe on a few gnarled roots, you decide that your wizard friend is now either hopelessly lost, or worse...*
You: what do you do now?
Stranger: i start my journey through the forest
You: *as you start to travel through the woods, you begin to get more and more lost*
You: *you've been travelling for about 2 hours now, and still it seems as if there's no end to the blackness*
You: *by now, the moon is high in the sky, marking the time to be about midnight*
You: *you begin to feel the effects of fatigue and exhaustion, you should probably sleep*
Stranger: *I set up camp
You: *you reach into your bad and retrieve your field tent and bedroll*
You: *after lighting a small fire with your flint and steel, you warm up and eat one of your field rations*
You: *you tend to the small cut you sustained, healing it with gauze and relative ease*
You: [+1 hit points]
You: *after you've eaten and treated your wounds, you crawl into your bed and try to catch a good nights sleep*
You: *your dreams are generally pleasant, and you wake up feeling refreshed*
You: *with the advent of sunlight, now you can see that the edge of the forest was merely yards away the whole time!*
You: what do you do?\
[about 5 minutes pass]
You: guess you're gone ;_;
You: well little did you know, you've been playing Dungeons and Dragons this whole time XD
