He woke up when the sound of waves clashed on to wood and rock, it was relaxing, refreshing and downright peaceful. The sound of a beach where laughter and smiles should be heard, but it was lighter and more quiet. There were also sound of creaking and scratching as if something rigged was scraping the exterior of another. It took quite a while, but Atsuin finally realized that they were no longer rocking along the sea. They were docked along something in a slanted manner, he felt like he was sliding because he was. It was a tiny slide, but a slide nonetheless. He crawled out of the tent space and realized that he was correct. Their boat was no longer sailing. They were docked on a small island of sorts. It was unexpected.

He took in his environment and realized that if they were not docked properly it meant that they crash docked here or drifted; either way he just glad they were alive. The only that bugged him was his partner in crime, Juri. He looked around the island for maybe she was out and about, but she was not there because she was asleep near the fire pit. Her body was cold and slightly wet. He guessed that she fell asleep sometime last night and just didn't wake up.

"Hey wake up" He shook her awake until she opened he eyes.
At the moment we will be moving to a new house wherein I may not have internet connection of any form. I will still be able to go online whenever I go to school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays because they have free internet, but the problem is they won't allow me to access this site for some reason.

One of my current ideas on how to access this site was for me to make use of the public library's internet, but even that may be tricky. I had an idea was that someone from an RP send me the posts made on the RP via email and I reply to them for that said person to post for me, but that would be taxing and I cannot impose that task to someone unless they volunteer. I came up with the compromise that maybe someone can send me just the details of what has happened and I can reply to them in short posts if again that's fine with the other person involved. As for the advanced RP's seeing as the short reply's won't really do justice to the story If it's okay with any of you then I hope that the idea of sending the individual posts would be okay.

If any on you who are in the RP with me has the time to spare then I will be most happy if any of you wish to volunteer, but if not then I will be okay with what decision you guys make.

To my 1x1 and own RP's here is what's going to happen. For the 1x1 if it's okay we can continue the story vie email as long as you want or until the arc ends with dignity. For my own RP I have already mentioned how the 1st arc should go and be followed so please feel free to continue that until the arc ends afterwars it is all up to you what happens and to the person who I will ask to be in charge after the arc ends if you guys want to continue the story.

As for now this is still all just conjecture seeing as that the person who will decide to get a home internet connection is not me. However I have with confidence that for at least a few weeks going onto months we will not have internet connection. Therefore if I disappear then please treat the characters I have made kindly and if possible kill them off with respect or throw the in the freezer until my eventual return.

Juri awoke to a rigorous shaking from Atsuin. She grunted a bit before sitting up and trying to open her eyes. She shielded her eyes from the sun before realizing what happened. She probably lied down while watching the stars before dozing off. That was incredibly dangerous of her, since god knows what could happen at sea.

“S-sorry,” she began, trying to get her bearings. “I feel asleep,” she stated the obvious before looking around seeing the rocky place they’d beached on. Her heart leapt for a moment as she thought Land! She was a little disappointed to see the size of the island, but it was something: a place to stretch their legs and gather their thoughts.

Juri stood up and took a better look before turning back to Atsuin, scratching her head. “Good morning. Did...you get us here?” Juri was a bit curious as to what happened here, since if they had drifted a too many feet in either direction, they’d have missed the little island completely.

"No, it's fine." He said. He didn't feel like it was a bad thing that she fell asleep. There was also the fact that if she did not fall asleep they might have not even made it to this place. For that act alone maybe he was grateful, well honestly he was grateful for her entirely.

"No I didn't I was still asleep, guess I was a little too tired. I think it's safe to assume that we got shipwrecked here, well drifted actually. It's not really much, but It's way better than nothing."

He was being honest. This island was small and nothing, but the fact in itself that it was land made everything work out pretty well. There was land, trees rock, and some shrubs. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing. The land of this island was made of large rocks which wasn't that good, but it's better than sand since sand is practically useless, at least with rocks they use it as materials. There at least six trees, but they were skinny, lanky and weak looking, but at least they were tall, flexible and looked like they can be used for something. There was also those shrubbery grass things, but they didn't look like they can bear food, but maybe it can be used to make fire.

He slowly got off the raft and onto the island and exhaled rather deeply. He has just happy.

Atsuin explained that he was asleep when they ended up here, but Juri smirked at the use of ‘safe’ and ‘shipwrecked’ in the same sentence. She supposed it was a safe shipwreck though, since they were fine and nothing looked damaged.

Hopping off the raft, she stretched as she walked; a little stiff from her awkward sleep. She also had to deal with her missing land-legs, as she hadn’t touched solid ground in so long. She looked over the trees and shrubs, thinking that this was a good sign. It was a very small island, but there had to be land nearby, else there would be nowhere for tree or shrubs seeds to blow in from and sprout here. It was likely still some distance away, but it was a good sign that they weren’t drifting too far from their course. Of course, there was the possibility that the nearby land was another island, which could mean they were anywhere.

But Juri pushed that aside for now and went over to the trees, checking them out a bit, testing their strength and flexibility. She was pretty sure they were going to take them no matter what though; at worst they were still firewood. She was also worried about but or termite infestation, but that seemed unlikely given the lack of small bugs in this time period. Checking out the shrubs, she figured these would be useful as well. There were solid and dry rocks too. Just having her feet on dry land felt nice.

Finished with looking over the island for now, she looked to Atsuin, whom looked like he cheered up a bit with the shipwreck. “We should stay here for a bit, at least overnight. We should work on cutting down the trees and taking the shrubs,” She suggested. She again thought about getting Atsuin too practice swimming, but held her tongue.

"I was thinking about the same thing anyway." He agreed because it was simpky the logical thing to do. They had their piece of land and now they at least had a place to gather their thoughts and properly discuss their next option. Another thing that made all of this better was that if there was land here meant that there was more land in someplace nearby. He wasn't sure exactly how plants in this new world worked, but he knew that if there were plants here then that meant they came from someplace else. The distance itself might be a bit farther off, but it was a clear cut sign that they came form somewhere.

"Ugh...I'll go and check on the raft, make sure it's not damage or anything. Plus it might drift off when were not looking." He breathed what he said as he lightly dragged the raft towards the shore. It was pretty light, especially because of the light waves. He did it relatively easy enough with ease and he finished moving it faster that expected.

"See anything? Animals maybe? Should I get our stuff out as well?"

Getting a little closer to the trees and shrubs, Juri moved her knife about, trying to figure the best way to get the trees and shrubs cut down. Putting her hand on the tree, she pushed against it, still testing them. While she did that, Atsuin mentioned that he was going to check out the raft. Juri turned for him for a moment, nodding as she looked at the raft. Moments after she looked away, just after she nodded at Atsuin’s suggestion, she felt something skitter on her arm. Despite herself, she flailed, letting out a cry as she stumbled backwards. Catching herself, she clapped her hands over her mouth, a little embarrassed when she saw what had frightened her; a curious little crab, not bigger than a golf ball.

It wasn’t even good for eating, she realized: just a bite at most. Swatting it aside with a bit of malice, she noticed a few more of them about, in crevices and on the trees for some reason. “I guess there are some animals...” Juri said.

“Our stuff is fine on the raft, but do you think it’d be more comfortable sleeping on the island or the raft?” Juri suggested. Looking at the crabs, she was considering the food chain. They might have gone into the ocean to eat, perhaps to avoid the larger shellfish or other predators, but did anything eat them? Juri suddenly became aware of the possibility of nocturnal animals sleeping in hiding. She needed to be thorough in her search.

He swore he heard a thud as he pulled the raft inland. He decided to just ignore it because sometimes he just hears things. A few moment later his eyes roamed around and as he did he noticed that on the other end of where he was standing there was a smaller platform made of rock. It was directly north of where he was and on that note he realized that he hadn't checked their compass yet, so he did. He went on to the raft and took out the compass from the pockets. According to the compass they were still heading raft or that's what he thought was since their raft drifted towards the northern direction. It was either coincidence, pure luck or fate, he decided to chuck it up towards luck.

"Oh ... really what kind?" He asked the girl. "I'm not sure, but stone is pretty cold so I think it's best if we stay in the raft plus we have the tents here, but to be honest I kind of want to try sleeping in something other than wood. A nice change of scenery could be good for the soul." He replied to the issue towards the issue about their slumber.

"What do think? About the island I mean."

Sort of relieved that Atsuin didn’t notice her getting spooked by the crab, she answered Atsuin’s question, “Yeah, there’s these little crabs. They’re pretty small, not worth eating when there’s probably bigger shellfish underwater. There might be other animals hiding somewhere sleeping, so be careful.”
Regarding matters of slumber, Juri looked for the flattest spot, or preferably, a flat spot with a way to raise their heads nearby too, like a steady slope, but she was worried about crabs crawling around, or the possibility of tides. Were they in high tide or low tide right now?

“Let’s stay on the raft tonight, actually. If the tide rises and takes our raft, we’ll be stranded. If it lowers we’ll be fine though. Didn’t think about that...” Juri added.

Lastly, Atsuin asked what she thought about the island. Jur thought for a moment, before saying, “We won’t be completely safe until we know everything about it, but any change of pace is welcome.” Looking over at the trees, she said, “Let’s try and break one of those down. We should probably leave one or two though...”

She told him there were small crabs and that they were probably not worth eating, but if it was up to him he'd catch the crabs, crush and then boil them. The result might not be satisfactory at first, but chances are trial and error can solve that problem.

He forgot about the tides. "Oh yeah, tides." He didn't remember if the water rose or not when the moon comes out, but he was sure the moon was a factor. "I guess that's fine. We should tie the raft to the island with rope just in case though. I should go do that." So he did. He went back on to the raft, took out the last amount of free rope he had in his backpack. He hurried off to tie one end to the pole for the sail and tied the other end to a nearby rock on the coast. It was a good thing there was one.

"Huh? Why? We still have plenty of wood and plus a bit of relaxation doesn't hurt" He wasn't againt cutting them down, but they had just arrived here and a little bit of relaxation couldn't hurt them. It might be because he was kind of lazy, but of course it could be that he was just used to taking breaks back when he was with Team Summer B, maybe Summer A was just this high-strung.

As Atsuin tied the raft to the island, Juri nodded, glad Atsuin was already prepared. Juri started to move over to the trees, but Atsuin objected, feeling the need to rest first. That was a big difference in their personalities, it seemed. Atsuin wanted to take some time to relax but Juri was quite energized upon finding the island. Or maybe that was still adrenaline from being startled by that stupid crab.

Walking over too Atsuin, she looked at him as she said, “Isn’t it better too relax after a day of hard work?” It was still early, after all. Leaning in closer, she also suggested, “Or we could swim. Swimming is relaxing!” At least it was for her, it probably wouldn’t be for him if they didn’t though. She wasn’t going swimming alone though. She didn’t want to push him of course; that’s why she was giving him a choice. Not the best choice of course, but still.
