"I suppose we all have something different inside us. It's quite irritating when someone says something is "normal" or "average". At Grey Key Academy, no such words are ever even thought of, let alone said. We are all different... but in a bad way. We are all outcasts from society and they have, of course, not accepted us for who we are and what we do. I never understood why they think they're normal and pure when they are the ones that pollute the world with sin. Sigh. I suppose it cannot be helped. Grey Key Academy is supposed to be a helping mechanism and everyone is quite proud of what they have accomplished there.

We generally discover students with powers and ferry them to this Academy. Usually, they are not in control of them and there are plenty of trainers here. They train them to fight, maintain control, and even heal at times in need. There is always a time in need for us students here. Some of us come in different shapes, sizes, personalities, and of course, powers. I must admit, the years here have been peaceful. We've had no trouble except for a couple of horrific events but those are meant to be kept a secret of course. I've always been careful not to speak of it. But I'm a little concerned. All of our students have graduated and now we take these strange and fresh modern students.

I have heard rumors of the outside world and it does not sound too flattering. Especially the humans there. They seem cruel and hateful... But nonetheless, these students are their offspring. I almost pity them and am always curious of what they have had to suffer in their life. Perhaps some of these students will be good. Not bad. No, no, I hope they aren't bad. And if some of them are bad... I'm hoping it won't be like a couple of years ago... Sigh. Only time will tell, I suppose."

Somehow, you recieved the message. Whether through in a dream, or just suddenly out of the blue, or even by a letter on your doorstep... you recieved the message. And somehow, you're drawn to it. You think to yourself, "This is something I need to do." And it is something you need to do. You need to go to Grey Key Academy on invitation by the Headmaster himself. So, you pack up whatever you have and head to the strange place because you know what you are. You know what harsh crueltys the world has offered you.

Or you are just plain interested. You could be a good person or a bad person. It doesn't matter. You just know that Grey Key Academy will give you a better understanding of who you are. Or you could already possibly know and you want to harness your power for either destruction or production. Of course, you probably expect this Academy to teach you good, love, affection, all the sweet and kind stuff. But you're surprised to find out you were dead wrong. Yeah, you're a freshman or just plain new to the school. And you come to find out this place is crawling with impurities, just like the other society you came from. Only this is different... these people can harm you. And they're allowed to.

Some of you would be in shock and fear, some of you would think, "Oh a challenge. Sweet.", some of you want to avoid fighting at all costs, and some of you just are wondering why you're here. The people up at Grey Key Academy are tough, especially the Seniors, who've had 3 years of experience at this prestigious school. Either way, it's going to be a challenge surviving this school. The thing is, though, what are the chances of you getting out?

1. Now, if you are interested in joining, you don't have to be a freshman but that is mainly the whole idea here. I wouldn't mind a couple good people being a sophomore, junior, or senior, though. :3 Might be nice. I'd prefer the bad people be older and more experienced, if that's okay with you guys.

Powers(1-3): 1. A special defense mechanism that can ward off powers that are trying to pursue her. This only works for some powers though. She rarely uses it but when she does, it slightly drains her.

2. The ability to create shadowy balls of energy in the palm of her hand and shoot them at people. This generally causes a 3 minutes paralysis or great damage to the insides, rather the outsides. It can cause internal bleeding, make your powers go out of whack, or even damage various organs(particularly the heart).

3. To be revealed in the roleplay

Personality: Gabriel generally shows no emotion to anyone or even the slightest bit concern for what people think of her. If something sparks her attention, she will study it for awhile but then grow tired of it and move on to something else. This goes for items, humans, books, anything. She is very mature for her age, having the tone and speaking pattern as an adult and she never shows child-like interests like candy or playing a game. Gabriel is somewhat of "the voice of reason" and hates to see any kind of fighting, particularly against good and evil since she is also a pacifist. Her eyes can sometimes have a bored and emotionless expression. She can also be cynically impish.

Other: Gabriel is not a student at the academy, but she does attend the classes. Nobody ever seems to see her and the teachers and headmaster claim they have never heard of her. She is apparently only seen by the students, though.

Powers(1-3): 1. Has an elemental power of fire. Whether shooting it out of hands or fingers, he can shoot fire.

2. Super speed

Personality: He is edgy, tough, and quite rebellious. He sneers at the innocent and weak and hates anything pure or just. Sometimes, Matthew is seen as stubborn as a mule and hates being told what to do. He ironically has a hot temper and likes to mess with other students or challenge them to a good fight or two. Around his friends, though, he can be teasingly fun and if you get to know him better, he has somewhat of a conciensce and heart.

1- She can cause some illusions, though they can only effect one person at a time. They tend to be quite startling at times.

Personality: Emily is a fairly sullen girl, to the outside world atleast. She is reserved, and enjoys her own company, however, the girl sometimes laughs alone, muttering to somebody. Her mood is generally unaffected, sedated almost, but at the drop of a hat, she starts to react violently and with glee. She has a naturally love of dark and scary objects and settings, loving horror as a genre. Though a tad unfriendly, and perhaps more along the lines of a neutral-chaotic, Emily has a strong sense of justice, and a protective side for other people.

Other: She carries a butcher knife in her school bag at most times. It's her friend. She also has a love of red, black and white, and she often tries to randomly paint objects those three colours, roses, tables, and windows, ect.

Personality: Elisabeth is a sweet girl, when she wants to be. If you get on her bad side, she can be as mean as a snake. Strike you when you least expect it. So I suggest not getting on her bad side. Other than that, she is a sweet, kind, loving girl who wants to be friends with anyone and everyone, leaving noone in particular out. Of course, unless you do something horrible to her.

Other: Elisabeth lives with her mother, father, Big brother, and Little sister. She is the middle child, and most the time feels forgotton. She believes this school could somehow get her noticed, actually mean something to her parents. She feels alone, left out, her little sister, Amanda, who is only six gets all the attention. And her older Brother, who is nineteen, has graduated, and is starting collage, had straight A's, plays in football, and has a scolarship to collage. She feels like, she could never live up to her brothers standers. And her parents are also telling her she should be more like her brother.

Personality: She tends to stay to herself, not really talking to anyone and keeping her eyes down. However, she is surprisingly fierce and nothing like what her outward appearence is like. She is incredibly stealthy and very imaginative, sometimes seeming to go off into another world.

Other: She is known as Minerva (The Roman goddess of wisdom) throughout the school because she is extremely smart. Once people get a look at her eyes, they tend to get freaked out because of their startling color. She also skipped a grade so she is younger than everyone in her class.

Powers(1-3): All 3 are based off of the power of Kinetikinesis.
1. Kinetic Absorption - Allows him to absorb the kinetic energy around him to boost his own strength, speed, stamina, etc. Also allows him to heal himself, but takes quite a bit of energy for anything above minor scrapes.
2. Kinetic Charging - Can "charge" objects with excess amounts of kinetic energy, leading to explosive results. (Much like Gambit's power)
3. Kinetic Repulsion - Acts like a reverse-magnet, causing any kinetic forces to either be pushed back or move around him. (Example, he could make someone trying to punch him, punch passed him. Extreme example would be walking through live gun-fire and remaining unscathed.

The downside to these powers is that they greatly tax his body, even though he has a rather good grip on his powers he's still nowhere near as powerful he'll become as a senior. Over-exertion usually leads to progressively worse symptoms, like bloody-noses, cramps, stiff joints, and fainting. He's unable to use Kinetic Repulsion right now, as any attempt always leads to him blacking out.

Personality: Very kind and is often seen, or should I say heard, laughing and/or trying to make others laugh/smile. He's really a good kid, just trying to mkae the most of the situation he's in. Can be a bit of a flirt, but that's only if the window's open, as he's not very keen on hints. Extremely protective of his friends and others in distress, as he will always put them above his own safety or feelings.

Chakra Manipulation and control- Able to use his own life energy into a tangible energy for Vincent to use at its pure form or condense into a solid form to create objects. Using his own life force has its down fall for the more he uses the ability the faster he weakens.

Minor Regeneration- The ability to slowly regenerate, only an decently faster than a normal humans. Mainly useful for replenishing his Chakra life force, allowing him slowly replenish his life force to use his skills over a longer period of time.

Personality:
Vincent is often cocky and cynical, sometimes borderline insane. Some have thought him to be schizophrenic but that hasn't been confirmed. Sometimes he can seem random and silly and than immediately snap into a narcissistic, dark maniac. It's an experience to say the least.

Using his Chakra Manipulation skill he often creates blades to use in any kind of battle he may get himself into.

-Galvanokinesis: the manipulation of electrical current, changing the flow of electrons in machines that use electricity to cut off power and build it up in a circuit.

-Electrical Absorption: the power to conduct and store electrical energy within the body. One with this power gains power by draining electrical devices and machines, can absorb ambient electrical energy like static in the air, and can withstand being struck by lightning (although the amount of electricity varies person to person). After enough has been absorbed, the electricity may or may not be released at will, to charge small machines, attack foes and the like (if not released at will, it usually has negative effects on the user, like disorienting the thought process, speeding up the user's speech and generating static cling in the hair, etc.).

-Electric Organ: a myogenic (muscle-like) organ, it is used for electroreception (sense electrical fields) and electrogenesis (create electric shocks at will which do not harm the predator but do harm the prey). The Electric Organ has large numbers of electroplaques (organic or inorganic plates which generate electricity) which can be used to create an offensive electrical shock (Electric Organ Discharge, or EOD)(I also found that this organ can be used to attract the opposite sex of the same species, wonder if that will come in handy? >3>)

Personality:
Terminally curious and sometimes even mischievous, Marl has a multi-faucet personality and enjoys knowing a little bit of everything but generally not too much about one particular subject. Mostly fun loving and always on the move, but when she is angry her determination and focus are her greatest strengths. Her partners most often have a hard time keeping up with her both in personality and physically.

Other:
Uses sweet smelling conditioners in her hair and always carries a metal comb to help with the hair problems that come with being a human battery. Ever present on her person is a Ipod/music player, the reason for this that she need a place to discharge or bleed off the extra electricity she happens to pick up in the air from static. The device is always on and constantly being charged by her person, never having to ever plug the thing in she ditched the wall plug for it awhile back, She will most often have the thing plugged into a small set of studio style head phones on her neck and will be listening to it almost constantly when not around other people. The music stored on the device varies.

1) Acid beast: Damien can shoot pressurized streams of acid. As a result, natural acids don't have a huge effect on him.
2) Bestial Horror: Not so much a power as it is bad luck. He honestly terrifies most people who meet him. It also gives him the benefit of being very agile (like a large dog). He often reverts to all fours when running. His long sharp 'claws' give him the ability to crawl on walls.

Personality: Damien is fast talker, and an ever faster runner. He frequently cons people out of money, secrets, or whatever else they have that isn't nailed down. He is a known trouble maker and owns up to it. He is lazy in subjects he knows he isn't good at and sleeps through most classes. His loyalties are easily bought and quickly lost, but once he decides you are a good friend, its hard to shake his loyalty.

Other: He is still a sophomore.

Appearance(No anime!): Damien is six foot three inches of unfiltered horror movie. Whilst vaguely human, there are a few key traits that make him stand out (and other people stand very far away). He has neon green hair that hangs down to about his shoulders. He has four sets of eyes. Three pairs of normal 'human' eyes form along his neck. These are completely vestigial. His real eyes are in the same place as a normal human, but instead of human eyes there are two perfectly black orbs. His arms, thin and gangly, end at just above his ankles and end with four thick yellow claw 'fingers'.

1. The ability to create nearly indestructible force fields around herself and others. She is able to change the size, shape and softness of them depending on its use, and can also create offensive weapons such as darts, cones, knives, spheres and discs. 2. She is a clairvoyant. She is able to see into the past and future, but not without cost. Seeing into the future causes immense pain, and she cannot control it. Her visions are triggered at random, sometimes just touching an item or person will cause a vision. Just visiting a place unfamiliar to her can prompt a vision, and cause her to enter into a trance like state.

3. Ability to block psychic attacks. Janelle has a very strong psyche and is able to reflect, or block mental attacks by others who have telekinetic or psychic powers. Years of spiritual training and meditation have helped her to increase her mental strength.

Personality: Snobby, Talented, and Cold. She appears quite distant to most, and often times will only speak if spoken to. Her nose is always up in the air, but it’s not that she thinks she is better than you, she just doesn’t believe you’re on her level. Behind closed doors, she is sincere and warm. Many people will never get to see that side to her though, because just like her powers she has an impenetrable force field up at all times. She enjoys a good joke, and will lighten up to those with a great sense of humor.

Other: Enjoys participating in the arts, she is a pianist and an artist. Dislikes confrontation, despite her bad nature.
