I RP with a samsung tablet, the 7 inch screen. When I am composing a post and get as far as the bottom of the message window, I can't get the window to scroll up and down, limiting my writing to a couple of medium sized paragraphs. As long as I don't quit a constant flow of words, I can continue; but if I back up to edit or do a preview, I can then ONLY view and edit the amount of text you see in this particular post (which I have limited in length to demonstrate my limitation.)
Does any one have a solution? This is not an RPG problem but a forum/thread problem, meaning that I have been in other forums with the same message window screen setup and have been unable to scroll there as well.
Please, u.less you have a fix, don't reply to this post. (Last time I posted this problem, it turned into a discussion thread on how the internet and tablets suck sometimes. I am looking for help from people with answers. Thanks.)
BTW ... the length of this post is just a couple of lines short of how far I can write ...for comparison.

Multi-touch means the device can read finger movements outside of normal gestures, such as pinching to zoom in or out. Also is there a scroll bar at the side of the screen?
Correct, no scroll bar. Odd, huh? Same with any vBulletin based forum I have ever visited.
This sounds like you're running 3.2. This problem largely goes away once you upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich. Time to root your tablet using ODIN.
Also, fair warning if you ever start using a bluetooth keyboard. On 3.2 leaving the tablet and keyboard alone for more than a minute causes the bluetooth connection to go to sleep. Upon waking it resets ALL your applications for keyboard use. Any unsaved data is LOST, including the post you just spent twenty minutes on!!!
Oh, this is an easy one. I post on my Samsung phone a lot and have the same problem. All you need to do is download a free notebook app like Writer and copy/paste it into the box.
Yeah, I thought about that, but there's still the problem of editing afterward. Since I can't scroll the screen, if I want to edit -- even a single typo or a missing question mark -- don't I have to copy the post in question, paste it to Write, edit it there, then post it back? If not, let me know.
I just don't understand what the problem is. Maybe I need an android specific version of RPG...? I thought I already had that, but I have so many Apps that I might be thinking something different.

No, you write and edit entirely in Writer, then copy/pase it into RPG.
