Name: Andronikos Doukas
Age: 23
Race: Human Summoner
Motherland: Empire of Trebizond
Appearance: Andronikos is a rather short, 5'8 man with olive-colored skin. His black hair is long and wild, in addition to his beard, signifying his status as either a monk, or once a monk of the traditional Greek Orthodox Church. His eyes are black, and even-tempered. He wears simple robes made of what appears to be burlap, anda rope tied across this ensemble. He carries with him a small, leather-bound book with no hints as to what, exactly, is within.
Weapon of Choice:
Iron-Shod Quarterstaff
Magical/Alchemical/Spiritual Abilities:
- The Lesser Key of Solomon, Lemegeton ~ Agares: The book that Andronikos carries is, if the translation is correct, a book on summoning the demons that were bound to Solomon himself. Whether this is correct or not, he has translated two summoning spells, and attempted both, succeeding in both counts.
Agares, according to the legend, is a Duke of Hell, served by 31 legions of demons. He is known to make those who run away come back, and those who stand still run. He similarly has attributed to him the power to create earthquakes (He can't do this, however, when summoned, the ground rumbles slightly), and the power to teach languages (He CAN do this, and is more than happy to do so). As is such, Agares is an extremely literate and sensible summon, able to converse and debate well with people. It is also said that he has the power to destroy rank and dignities, be they spiritual or temporal.
Agares gets along extremely well with Andronikos, as they complement each other well. They often engage in intellectual debate on various topics when Agares is out. This is rare, however, due to his unsightly appearance, which causes him to envy Naberius.
He appears in his summoned form as a ghostly pale man that rides a crocodile, with a hawk on his hand. These animals exist as part of his summoning, and disappear if they go too far away from Agares. Even so, they are an integral part of his combat strategy, and it is not recommended that they leave. His voice is long, drawn out, and tired sounding. He fights using either his crocodile or his bare hands, which harden to the consistency of stone. His flesh, similarly, possesses the same rock-like consistency.
- The Lesser Key of Solomon, Lemegeton ~ Naberius: Naberius, according to legend, is the most valiant of the Marquesses of Hell, and commands 19 legions of demons. He is quite cunning in almost all arts, including the art of rhetoric, and assists the summoner in such things as well, acting as a superb familiar. Despite his voice being hoarse and croaking sounding, he is eloquent and amiable, and will teach his summoner in the ways of gracious living.
Naberius gets along somewhat well with Andronikos, but has some problems with the fact that the man is, essentially, a sniveling coward when it comes to battle. He treats the man as a project, however, and tolerates his inadequacies in the hope that he will be able to mould him to be a greater man. In addition, Naberius is most commonly out, due to appearing only like a crow.
Most commonly, he adopts the form of a red-eyed crow that perches on the summoner's shoulders, but when commanded to, he may take the form of a black-haired, pale-skinned man that wears a grand cloak of feathers, wielding a thin-bladed arming sword with a blackened blade. He fights using the element of surprise, swooping in to attack his enemies from shadows.
Fighting Technique:
Andronikos Doukas rarely, if ever, fights. If he is to fight, however, he oftentimes has Agares accompany him. With Naberius usually the one out when surprises come, however, he usually must resort to Naberius defending the rather cowardly ex-monk, much to the demon's chagrin.
As to Andronikos himself, his combat mostly revolves around awkward and untrained thwacks with the quarterstaff, which, thankfully, have a decent measure of power behind them due to work in the monastic fields raising crops. As he fights, his summons often scream advice or fighting tactics to him, to which he usually gets confused by. Dodging is rather awkward with the burlap robes, so he often tries to block with the quarterstaff, with, understandably, mixed results.
Personality:
Andronikos is a quiet, studious man with a notorious independent streak, which is what led him to the Lemegeton in the first place. Despite this independent streak, he is a notable coward, and avoids conflict whenever possible, trying to talk and reason his way out of situations.
Background:
Growing up in the upper regions of Anatolia, Andronikos was entered into the monastic life early on as a child, due to his parents being unable to support him. Spending most of his life in studying, Andronikos learned, quite quickly, that the life of a monk was not the one destined for him. He lacked any purpose in life, however, and the lack of protection in the dangerous lands (raided by Turks and who knows what else alike) kept him within the cloistered walls. Until one day.
Searching in the back shelves, he found, underneath a bland, leather cover, the Lesser Key of Solomon. Slowly translating a few choice pages based off of other works, he managed to translate and perform the rites for both Agares and Naberius, binding them to himself.
With his new companions, he now ventures forth into a plague-struck world, finding his way to Europe proper through fortune and fate.
Theme Song:
Andronikos: Hills of Radiant Wind - NieR OST
Agares: Cold Steel Coffin - NieR OST
Naberius: Shadowlord - NieR OST
Extra:
Agares and Naberius may speak into Andronikos' mind if one or the other is not currently active and summoned. This is treated as telepathic communication, and may be returned by Andronikos.

Nice profile, Durandal! I can see interesting interactions between our characters in the future...
Quite, quite.
Considering that the normal reaction to Agares showing up would be "OH MY GOD CROCODILE AND IS THAT A DEMON MAN STANDING ATOP OF IT AAAAAAAAAA", it's probably a good thing that Naberius is his most common travel companion.
Thanks for the comments
Also I kinda assumed that that's what 'black magic entailed' That magics outside the two main types were, although practised, not readily accepted, and presumably the unclean magics discredited and shunned.
In between RP's
Please! Don't start/join a RP unless you have the time and will. I'm sick of making a million character sheets for RP's that die!!
Oh, derrrp.
Sorry, rough week. >.>
It'll probably be Alyce because she's probably doing something important looking, and he's not going to go into a bar.
A special thanks to Vanquished for the sig!
And another special thanks to Tick for the avatar!

I got delayed for 30 Minutes because of RL. I'll get back to my post right away.
@December 13, your post was very good, although there were a few mispellings, including 'memoriesed' and 'Corination'. Nevertheless, you gave a very good picture of Comiter, as well as Mage society in general.
@Everyone, I posted! However, I think that there was a decline in quality from my last post. If there is one, how much was it, and what are the reasons?
