Never posted a thread before and I must say that this is a little weird for me. I've RPed before but usually one on one with my friend and this is also the first site I've joined with a socially oriented environment, making me somewhat nervous. Oy, I do not know how to introduce myself...usually pretty private, so just getting out of my comfort zone, I quess...

At the top-left of your screen, where this is:

It will usually show like this, and when you have a new message, the private message thing will just show as Your notifications: 1 and etcetera.

Threads are different, though, you don't really get any form of notification unless you've subscribed to the thread, and even then, I think you only get notified by e-mail.

Nice to meet you to (Brain is imagining what kind of accent is being typed out...It usually cant handle this much work.). So what kind of things are you looking for in the Guild? Since I have no life and have to much free time, what are ya looking for?

Haha! I like this place already. My name is "Gelsa" and I am a 103 year old woman who also has no life! But, eh. Being this old isn't too bad, chap.

I actually like to make up my worlds and I'm really intimidated by the number of fandoms here. The only fandom that I pertain to at the current time is the one I made in my head, haha! I'm a classic fantasy kind of RPer but I do like to twist it up a little. Perhaps I may go a little too far out as well as I even come uo with dates, years--oh, you get the point.

However, if I were to go to a specific world out of my head to RP in, it's stuff like Death Note, Samurai Champloo, and Lord of the Rings.

The current world I live in is in a country called Sylarne and it's a fantasy world set in the year 1004 e. Pretty much your typical knights and dungeons kind, but technology I sometimes like to modernize (like a camera is called a Paintograph XD).

But, enough about me, lad. What about you?

Well I'm a bit younger than you are (Won't say exactly, gotta keep my own secrets ya know!), and I'm pretty sure I'm a guy. At least...thats what the thing down there means right?

I also enjoy creating my own kinds of worlds and as long as it has some sort of thing different from reality, then I'll play it. Most fandoms I see here are quite...(Sigh...)...bothersome...I do enjoy creating new stories and things within a worlds story. If someone forced me to say my favorite kind of story, I would most likely say fantasy.

Your world also sounds kind of like one I have, named Jadefyre. As of now, there is a power struggle between wizards (Some of which may or may not be evil) and engineers who are trying to make new technological wonders. In a nutshell, its sort of like the age of magic and the age of technology attempting to become the one on top. I would say more, but then I would end up gushing and drowning innocent civilians.

A few things I should warn you about though. First off, I have a dark side of being willing to bring about pain, torture, and near death to my characters just for a cruel joke. Heck, some of my characters very lives are ruined because I simply thought them up. Other than that dark side though, I tend to simply ramble on about pointless things when I'm bored. This does make for some...curious...conversations though. Last thing, I enjoy interacting with my characters. It makes me feel like they're more alive and not simply another aspect of myself. That, and it gives me an excuse to create an apartment drama down the line to drain millions of dollars from the human population.


As of right now though, I'm wondering why my username is "The Mourning" when I'm so happy and cheery all the time.
