A Super Summer (Interest Check)

The idea: Superheroes! This is going to be a summer RP, which is actually as long-term as I've ever managed. Anyone looking for a good RP to last them the summer, which will be around when they stop using their account for a while, look no further! There will be a limit on the number of players, which will be decided when we reach four people.

The world: Modern day earth, with some kinks. The technology is very high for the military and... special people. Also, there are super humans, aliens, and demons galore!

The story: An evil sorcerer has called forth an ancient demon and its armies to ravage the galaxy. It's up to earth's best (and maybe even some unearthly visitors) to stop the demon and bring the sorcerer to justice.

Example character: This is all optional. Your character doesn't have to have an alias, a costume, or even any powers if you don't want. Just be reasonable. I wont accept overpowered or plain characters. If your character can't help defend the earth, and help make the RP fun, then it wont be accepted. You CAN create a villain, as long as they are also opposed to the warlock and demons.

Name: Josh Conwell

Alias: Kelvin

Power: Temperature control.
Trained in hand-to-hand combat and reconnoissance.
Agent accessories (combat knife, handgun, walkie-talky, backup squad, body armor, money, etc.)

Degree and limitations: Cannot generate or remove heat, can only transfer it from one place to another (it would be more difficult for him to raise the temperature in the arctic, because there's not as much molecular friction there). The more heat he transfers, the more stamina it requires.

Story: Josh was in highschool when a freak chemistry accident gave him inhuman abilities. Ever since, he has been a secret intelligence agent working for the U.S. government.

Appearance: Before the accident, Josh had naturally blonde hair and blue eyes. He wasn't very fit, but he wasn't fat, and stood at average height. He was never really attractive, but not repulsive. After the accident, his eye color changed to purple, and his hair color changed from red to blue depending on the temperature. He now has the body of a fighter. When not in agent uniform, he wears jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and tennis shoes.

Weakness(es): He's a sucker for a pretty woman.
Very picky eater.
Hates high temperatures.
(Note: A weakness is not a weakness if it isn't applicable. For example, if your character's ability is to grow multiple arms, but his weakness is that he has no arms, then it wouldn't count as a weakness. If you want a very powerful ability, or tons of little abilities, and you know I wouldn't normally accept it... I might change my mind if your weaknesses balance out your character.)



Answers to possible questions:

-Our characters will be meeting eachother during the RP, they wont already be gathered. Maybe some fights will even break out.
-You do NOT have to use the format I used for your character. As long as I can read it and it's a well made character, feel free to use whatever format you want.
-You should be a bit more detailed that I was with the example character, but I wont be too strict..
-I will be making my character after everyone makes theirs, so I can make mine in a way that will make the RP more fun; hopefully.
-You CAN be an alien, robot, demon, angel, demi-god, elemental, cyborg, wizard, scientist, time traveler, etc. I don't really care, as long as you follow all the character guidelines I've given.
-This RP should be over by the end of the summer. Maybe if it goes well enough, there will be a sequel next summer.
-The posting is between casual to advanced. Nothing about this will be very strict, as long as it works and isn't terribly slow.


Try to post at least once a day, and the posting will be cycled. Person one can't post again until all of the others have posted in order.

Also, please don't join if you don't think you'll follow through with it. It's only going to last for the rest of the summer... Most likely.

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. So should we also put where we are in the galaxy/earth in our character sheet? That way we could know how far away we are from each other.

Posting cycles don't work particularly well. Having a post limit of two others between your post usually does. (because it stops 1 on 1 speed posting, without halting the entire thing).
