-Zankensoki, Reiatsu and other Talents-
-Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance-
Seijin-Gekidonami resembles a regular Katana. It's Ito (wrapping) is white with a slightly extended Tsuka (handle). The Tsuba (Guard) is a steel triangle in shape.
Keigai, Seijin-Gekidonami (Sage of the Raging Wave)
When released, Seijin-Gekidonami immediately evaporates any water within a ten meter radius. Shooting up a cloud of water vapor into the air causing a thick mist. This mist's concentration of water vapor can be changed at will and it forces an amplification of Osmosis in it's vicinity. This means that if the wielder choose to create a particularly thin mist with a low concentration of water vapor the water from his opponents body will start to seep through his skin to level out the water levels in the area, because the concentration of water in his victim is much higher than the surrounding area.
This will start to slowly weaken and dehydrate his opponents body, causing slowness of limbs and reactions along with sapping stamina, endurance and strength. This effect is quite slow but nevertheless dangerous.
On the flip side the wielder can choose to increase the concentration of water vapor in the air, forcing more water to seep into the victims body. This technique causes overhydration and lead to Hyponatremia an illness in which the water inside the body dilutes all the other necessary functions causing organ failure and loss of motor functions.
The mist that the wielder creates is modulated by the physical sword, water vapor attaches to the blade and detaches when he wishes to change the concentration. This also means that if the sword absorbs a lot of water vapor the wielder is able to cover his sword in water. When in this state there are three techniques he can use
Using this the wielder can point his sword at his opponent and quickly evaporate the water covering his sword causing it to shoot forward as steam, this can burn skin and cause damage to anyone caught in the blast.
Stabbing the ground with his sword the wielder is able to blast out water vapor in all directions creating an instant smoke-bomb effect, which can both allow the wielder to escape or to cover the area in his mist again.
A simple technique that involves slashing the sword in any direction unleashing small blasts of water vapor, as it flies however it freezes in mid air creating spikes of ice that can impail opponents.
A defensive technique in which Sugo aligns the tip of his Zanpakuto with any incoming attacks. Quickly pressurizing the water around his sword he blasts it forward in an attempt to nullify or at least lessen the extent of the attack.
This ability can only be used if the opponent is stabbed while water is covering the blade. While inside his opponent the water covering the blade blasts from it's tip as vapor, ripping and searing the insides of his opponent and causing mist to exit from every orifice they have. It has been nicknamed the 'Smoking death' because once this is used the opponent falls to the ground with smoke rising from their mouth, ears and in some cases through the small spaces at the corner of their eyes.
Bankai, Kisaki-Fubatsuchouseki (Final release, Empress of the Indomitable Tide)
When released the entire area is covered in ice, all surfaces are frozen and adopt the shiny mirror-like appearance. The blade itself is now entirely composed of water and rapidly gives off more water vapor into the air as it is swung or moved. This means that the mist can grow to such a size it is nearly impossible to escape, whats more when attacked the opponents will be covered in a blast of water vapor every time the wielder swings his sword towards them.
Perhaps the most prominent technique of Sugos Bankai is the ability to rapidly change the ice in shape and size that covers the area, begin able to project spikes of ice from the ground make almost any surface in which the ice is present Sugos weapon. Forcing opponents to either consistently stay off the ground or risk being impaled.
