"Oh, of course, Mizuko, you surely know how to make cookies, right?" Flora smiled to her gently before instructing her a little, letting her know what still needs to be done. It was a nice little cooking session, and soon enought the first round of cookies was done and baking. "This, is great, we finished so much sooner together than I do on my own." Flora hapily skipped over back to the counter. Cookies were done, but she still had tons of ingredients. Proper cake is tough to make, plus they might be called on red alarm any time... Might as well make a pie.
She just put the warped-up dough in refrigerator, to let it 'rest', when the small kitchen alarm click went off, telling her it was time to take out the cookies."My chocolate-chip cookies!" Ok, let's take out the cookies... They're done, I need them out of the owen... What the- Flora tugged gently on owen handle several times, trying to open it. The mechanism seemed to be locked. "Hey, Mizuko... um, how do you possibly... open this? How... how did we lock it in the first place?"
Flora smelt cookies burning already, so she quickly looked at all the buttons to see anything under category of 'lock'. Nothing, only a dozen or more of identical round buttons with I-have-no-idea-what functions. "I-Is there a manual on this, I have no idea what half of this stuff does?" She said, sqeaking a little. Top-tech appliances had their downside. For someone who grew up in a regular human household, this amount of buttons was fairly confusing...

"Only a little", she said and carefully listened to what Flora told her. After minutes, they were done making the cookies. Mizuko smiled when Flora was happy about making the cookies faster than her making them herself. "I-I'm not sure", she said, then tried opening the oven herself. Seeing that it wasn't opening, Mizuko started to panic, then tried to find ways to open it.

Hearing Conner, she gasped and tried to look away from Conner seeing that her shyness was showing strongly. "T-the o-oven w-wouldn't o-open", she said while looking at the ground.

Connor laughed, finding this entire situation pretty hilarious.
"Of all the people I figured you guys would know how to operate in a kitchen....What?" he said to them, joking as he tried to fix the oven.
"All right...Just press a few little buttons..." Connor muttered on about buttons and ovens and women and kitchens.
Connor finally found the right sequence, turning off the timer-lock system on the oven, and opening it up. He coughed as smoke billowed into his face.
"*cough cough* Just like mother used to make! *cough*"

"You ok?" He says to him worried.

"M-m-maybe y-you should m-move back f-from the o-oven", Mizuko said quietly, then took a step back so none of the smoke would be in her face.

Icarus caught a delicious smell in his nose, he sniffed again and smiled warmly. Floating into the kitchen . He raised his eyebrow, the smoke was.not the image he attributed to the smell. "Cookies?" He asked landing peeking over to the oven.
