The speed of the barrier is irrelevant. It simply bounces whatever light of the chosen wavelength is there as it impacts it. Redshift and blueshift are different principles.

Relativity states the wavelength would change while the speed of light stays the same with comparison to the barrier but I prefer lasers anyway so I won't argue the point. This is the problem with realism in RPs you try to put realism on top of unrealistic premises, always makes for interesting debates
