Shadow a young shinx was laying in the sun in the middle of a path. He was happy to just look around and see all the tall grass and the flowers.
A young Riolu named Dusk was walking on a forest-covered path. She had been travelling with her older brother a Lucario but he had gone missing, so she was searching for him, "Dagger! Big brother Dagger where are you?" she called out, hoping for an answer.
Shadow hear a voice followed by movement in the wooded area around him so he rolled over and streched and then stood up at his full height and sniffed the air. He smelt a riolu. He shivered and then sat down thinking of what to do.
Dusk called again, "Dagger!!! Big brother where did you go??" she called. She was starting to get even more worried. Being a rare pokemon like a Lucario or a Riolu made the humans want them more. But, her and her brother haven't had trouble with them yet but it would've only bee a matter of time. She walked around some more and caught whiff of another pokemon's scent. A shinx. "W-Whos there?!" she called.

Shadow was about to call out when he heard movement behind him and picked up the scent of his brother silver and a lucario. Shadow walked towards the scents confused silver was a luxray that never had any lucario friends.
Dagger, a full grown Lucario, had been looking for his little sister a Riolu when he unfortunately ran into a Luxray. "I have no business with a Luxray like you." he stated, "I am only looking for my lost sister, a Riolu."
Dusk sniffed the air once more and caught a faint, but current scent of her brother and another pokemon. "Dagger!" she yelled. She ran towards the scent but then tripped over something. That something was a Shinx.
Shadow grunted as he was run over he stood up and shook his fur clean and then walked towards silver who growled and then turned to shadow and said come on litte brother lets go
Dagger saw Dusk emerge from the bushes and let out a relieved breath, "Dusk!" he said. Then, a Shinx emerged from the same bush. He glared at the Luxray, "What was your brother doing with my little sister?! Explain!" he yelled.
Dusk shook her head and held her brothers paw, "Big brother! This Shinx didn't do anything, I just tripped over him by accident! I should be the one to explain..." she said, feeling guilty that the Shinx and Luxray were getting yelled at for doing nothing wrong.
silver and shadow started to walk away when silver stopped and sniffed the air. silver turned to shadow and said get moving i'll handle the trainer just make sure they don't catch you little brother. when he had finished he jumped into the bush next to him and dashed off to find the trainer that invaded their home. shadow turned and ran the other way passing the lucario and the riolu in his haste. when he stopped to rest he was a good half a mile away from where his brother was.
Dagger also sensed the trainer. He pulled Dusk aside and said, "Do not let anyone see you. Especially a trainer." he said. Dusk nodded, "Big brother, why does a trainer want to capture you?" But before the Lucario could answer, a flamethrower hit him square in the back.
