weapons: whip with poisonous metallic thorns that can tear through flesh and metal alike

specifics: she is often surrounded by the elite of her gang and whatever street they walk down falls to chaos.

short bio: She started the gang from scrap creating the toxins her gang uses in her apartment. She has now spread insanity throughout her sector and she is perhaps the closest thing to calm headed in her gang. She is far from careless despite her quick aggression towards her enemies. The only way to take this bitch out is with a very powerful sniper...if you can get a shot while you're still in one piece.

Well how about it be simple?

Like,

Melee: concentrates on close combat.

Ranged: Uses long or mid range weapons

Intelligence: Uses wit rather then combat

Hybrid: A mix of one or more classes. Example, the Playboy.

Kingpin: The top of the bunch, can do it all.

I figured 'Non-human intelligence' sounded better than 'stupider than most four-year-olds.'

Can someone please explain exactly how the Class/Type thing is supposed to go? Do I just pick a Class and Type, then create my character from that? If I pick a certain class, am I restricted from going outside the bounds of that class in some cases? Is it possible for someone from one gang to use the equipment from another gang - for example, could someone steal a Railgun from the Tesla's, or do they have some kind of unbeatable countermeasure? Are the Beasts only trainable by The Beast Gang?

I imagine though that weapons could be stolen from each game. And I highly doubt the Tesla's (They're mine!) would want to bother with the Beasts. The Tesla's have the Dream Machines after all. Who needs a bunch of dirty beasts when you've got money and influence? That's just me though.

Like he said we're working that out Jack but as far as weapons and stuff go I would say the gangs have measures for it though that could be something your character does beneficial to the gang. (it would take skill ofcourse) but he could steal/copy some of their tech and give it to the gang. Now it would be dubbed down of course but greatly beneficial.

Belial as far as the ranged.melee type of thing I think it may be too simplified since people may want the classes we have and such. I think we should keep them just find a way to keep them from crossing over. Or instead let's take your gunner for example, there could be different classes that the one Type can be. So the types would limit the class you can be but not much, just enough to keep you from being a mix of a super fast melee class but having the gunner class allowing you to be great at both close and long distance.

Right okay I can see where you're going with that. I'm not to sure how to go about cranking it up abit though.

Do we limit the players to a certain path then? Let's say we make it Ranged, Melee and Wit okay? Melee can only choose Soldier, or Raver, and then reach Playboy (yes I'm using Tesla example. I know them better after all) but at playboy they don't have enough understanding of ranged combat to use the rail gun effectively. Is that about what you mean? Yeah they have reached the Playboy stage of things where they are a hybrid of everything, but that's not to say they have the abilities of the Banker to know how to run the cash side of things amazingly, but can run it pretty okay. and they can't just pick up a railgun and start pinging off headshots with it. But give them a charged bat or sword and they are off to the races.

That's how I'm seeing it anyway.

So thus they need to think really close on how they want to run their character because they won't have hybrid characters that are good in everything like some NPCs or our characters will be.

specifics: being a beast master is a dream of anyone a part of The Beast. Your raw power allows you to control some of the most horrendous and epic in size and power beast. Their leader has aqquaired the nickname Big Daddy due to his pet he calls Titan, which when unleashed it towers above buildings and is capable of tearing down a sky scrapper with it's bear hands. (He does not unleash Titan often as it is next to impossible to contain him again)

short bio: This man is insane and quick to pull the trigger on his own. He loves to bathe the streets in blood and he is crazy enough to walk out into an ambush and beg them to shoot at him. As hounds work their way around and ambush the ambush.

Yeah we're getting there. I'm thinking we could do something like Playboy Shield class (the shield is just a symbol and would represent certain characteristics) so even though we could have three playboys per say. They could each be different class playboys. Sound good?

Also due to mutations, she now has the tendency to bite, make high-pitched screeching noises, hiss, and sometimes runs on all fours. Plus she has black eyes and a long black snake tongue.

specifics: Has increased stealth and speed, claws, fangs, can produce and spit venom, and is immune to venomous and gas effects.

short bio: Used to be known as the creepy girl around the block, she always had a fasination with substances that were harmful to the human body and would often create her own little poisons with crushed up medicines and other substances. Kira never wanted to be normal, infact she loved the fact that people were scared of her or creeped out by her, and always saw being called 'weirdo', 'weird', 'freak', 'creepy', 'crazy', or 'Insane' as a compliment. She happily joined The Toxins as a Venomite because of her desire to be completely abnormal, and she still enjoys being a Venomite to this day. Her nickname 'Xenomorph' was given to her because of her mutations that resembled a xenomorph from a few scifi horror movies.

Right exactly. So We have like a Playboy Melee, Playboy Wit and Playboy Ranged. Sure they're at the top of their game pretty much, but Playboy Wit knows almost all there is to know about being a banker or a bastion or what have you. Money is his game, he can fight sure, but he doesn't want to do that, he can just command his army to do it for him.

Damn I love where this is going.

so are we safe to try and put up our own characters?
