In the year 2119 an exploration ship will come across a derelict ship. A team will be sent aboard to explore, what is found inside will change everything. Will you be able to uncover the secrets inside?
In order to explore this spaceship, you will be able to play as one of the many crew members of the ESS (Earth Space Ship) Bates. I will act as the narrator, explaining your surrounds and pointing you in the right direction. What you do once you are inside is up to you, anything could happen.
I want to see who would be interested in joining, I already have several plot ideas thought out, and might even try to get a layout of the ship, which will be revealed as it is explored. I plan to personalize the experience for each character, and I want players who are up for anything, and who don't mind PMs from me to establish your character, or to help your character out.
This idea is still open for improvement or ideas, I don't plan on even making the OOC until I find at least 5-10 or more people who are interested.

@Remini, Any idea of what kind of character you might be interested in playing? This would be an exploration ship so anyone would be acceptable.

well a couple space exploration RPs I've done I always went for a pilot but I want something I'm not used to. I imagine I could do a mechanic, maybe someone specializing not only in our own space ship technology but theoretical foreign technology. Maybe even have a shaky romantic involvement with a crew mate to cause internal friction. Then again I'm not sure what the bulk of your RP will be.
The start of it would be the ESS Bates or whatever I name the earth ship, coming across the derelict ship, as soon as they find it they get a party ready to board it. The main part will be the initial boarding, trying to find out where you are in the ship, and what its purpose is. From there anything could happen, someone finds a secret room, learns what the strange things on the wall mean, or gets lost and needs to be found. Of course there would be some problems, such as keeping supplies near you, and others that the crew would have to worry about. From there it all depends on what kind of rpers join, and how I can work with them to explore the ship.

I see that sounds fun. So as for as finding these anomalies that would be what you would pm each characters. And we would actually RP our reactions and how we would go about treating the situation among our team?
Pretty much, I would post what you guys see, you guys respond to the information I give in your own way. If there is something you personally should know, then I PM it to you. If I have an idea for you which might point the plot in the right direction I could PM it to you so we can talk about it. I think I would have a character in there just to help keep the plot interesting.
I have a lot of ideas about what could happen and what could be found, as long as someone makes a character that this could apply to. If anyone had any ideas for a character or what they could find we could also talk about that.
