Tales of the Sea (SilverRain and Yellow13)

[Yellow 13]

I blushed widely when I saw Daniel there, though not moving. Creeping quickly across the house and into the room I was using where I could thankfully get dressed. That done, I shifted back to my human form dispite how much Ariel would like me to stay in a more dolphiny form. I mentally promised her that we'd go swimming again later. Right now though, I had to do some serious research on where Axel might have been taken and why it was me they wanted. Booting up the computer, I looked at my human body, finding that I had become more fit. I was a little on the chubby side before the transformation, but now my body was getting more toned and muscled. "Wow..." I said looking myself over. "I look... nice." I said smiling.

Fiona meanwhile headed down to where Axel was after she finished her breakfast and eased the door open, peeking around the corner. "Hey there." She said, already knowing the third question she'd ask. She wanted to be a were shark as well. Even if it meant turning male. She knew they couldn't keep Axel here forever, so she'd have to get him into biting someone eventually. Or trick him into getting a sample of his saliva which was the best guess as to how it was spreading. "How are you feeling, Alea? I have those three questions for you." She said. "I suppose we should walk and talk while we do this. Streach your legs, perhaps? And that didn't count towards what I wanted to ask." She said, smiling.

Alea would hear Daniel's footsteps behind her as he embraced her from behind by placing his arms around her shoulders. "You've always looked nice, Alea" said Daniel with his deeper voice as he nuzzled her softly. Daniel wondered if Alea still had feelings for him. He knew that turning her was wrong, but he wanted to show her his world. He felt regret that he had dumped her after the bite, but that was only because he wasn't sure how to handle things and he wasn't sure if she would reject his dolphin form. He shouldn't have left her. "I missed the times we spent together. Will you give our love another chance?" said Daniel as he firmly hugged her.

Axel looked up as he heard Fiona's voice. She sounded warm and welcoming and there wasn't any guilt or scheme in it, so it would seem like an okay day. Axel was probably hoping for a bit too much, but maybe it won't be mean experiments but more like a interview thing instead? "I didn't sleep much last night. But it's way better than sleeping on a... lab table" said Axel wondering if he should have mentioned the last bit. For all he knew, he might accidentally trigger her scientist craze or something. He got up and started to walk with her, unsure of where he was going. But the whole time, he was tasting the air, seeing if he could tell where the sea was. "So, you had questions for me? I'm in a talkative mood today" said Axel. Really though, he was just hoping to score enough points to go up onto the deck where he can flee.

I yelped when Daniel hugged me and smiled with his warm tough. I wasn't paying attention to him. He was warm, and I found myself being drawn into his warmth. I remembered the good times we had together but then remembered the pain nd rage that I was feeling towards him when I transformed. Ariel meanwhile was encouraging me to take a mate again. Matehood meant children and she would be happy with children. I closed my eyes and sighed. "I... Well..." I only met Axel a few days ago, and while i was mad at Daniel, it was too plesent not to enjoy his company again. "Well... I guess we can try it." I siad at long last. "But if you keep any secrets from me agian... no mtter wht they are..." I let the statement hang in the air.

"Well." Fiona said. "The first one was how fast did the bite attack you? We're guessing that it was a bite that triggered the transformation since you went to the doctors, he sent that blood sample out to us in order to determine what was wrong." She aid, pausing every now and then so Alea could catch up. "In other words, you were human up until a dolphin bit you. We know that much." She paused. "That's the first one. The next one is how do you know so much about being a wereshark? You seem to know everything about them, yet you've only been a wereshark for a short time." Her heartrate picked up as she was talking, worried as to what he'd think of once she suggested turning her.

"I'll let you know if I become gay. Heheh" laughed Daniel quietly as he used his fingers to slowly turn her face towards him. If Alea allowed it, he would gently and fully kiss her on the lips. He was happy that Alea had given him another chance. He wouldn't let go of her anymore. He would love and protect her forever.

"The bite? I didn't what bit me, but the change was instant. It felt like a mix of being hungover, diarrhea, and falling chest first into the water. I struggled for a while, blacked out (I think) and then I found myself in my merman form. The rest of it was a bit like instinct though. i know a lot about being a were because i experimented- uh with myself" said Axel. He then cursed to himself for using the 'experiment' word. Damn, he shouldn't have done that. "It's quite fun being a wereshark actually. It's a bit like ice skating when I can go really fast in the water. And somehow escaping from human life just makes me feel at peace"

I chuckled softly and kissed him, Ariel mentally squeeing in delight. We had a mate again! She was so happy, she almost took control again and I hugged him tightly, the happyness triggering a change to my anthro dolphin form again. Realizing what was happening, i did my best to undress before my body tore my clothes apart.



Fiona nodded, taking down notes then st down on a bench when they were at the top of the ship. "Interesting. Interesting. Well that leads me to my final question, but first an explanation as to why I'm asking this. I'm sure you don't want to be here forever. And in that case, we need some way to continue study on you. Or an equivalent. What I'm asking for is you to turn me." She said at least. "Even if I become male like you did, I don't care. This is the discovery of the century. Perhaps more so. I'm sure you don't want to be here, but I can still be here and continue my work." She explained. "That's my question. Will you give me what you have?"

Daniel pulled Alea up and close towards him as he pressed his body against hers. He was now kissing her fully and deeply each time. He would have preferred Alea in her human form, although her anthro form was just as fine. His hands roamed her back and the rest of her body, squeezing her in some places. His hands then travelled down towards the inside of her thighs were he lightly brushed them. His kisses were more hungry now. He desired more. Daniel wanted to take her into a room.

As they sat down on a small table above deck, Axel heard her last question. Axel looked at Fiona with a serious expression. He hadn't expected her to ask that. He hadn't expected it at all. He made sure there was no one around them that could listen in on what he was about to say. Now of course, it didn't eliminate the risk that Fiona herself could be carrying a recording device. But now was the only chance. He took a deep breath as he leaned in closer to her. He talked in a solemn tone.

"It's true that I don't want to be here. I want to be out and free in the waters. I could turn you, yes, but are you sure about this Fiona? Once it happens you can't go back. You'll see the world differently. What you hated you may like, what you like you may hate. I can't guarantee that you'll still side with your passion of being a scientist. You might lose control and kill everyone on board. It happens sometimes. What may be your dream could turn into a nightmare" said Axel as he thought back to the other, more violent wereharks who had given in to their animalistic lust for blood.

"I don't know what the other scientists would do to you. Even if you hide it from them, they'll eventually know. There's no guarantee that they won't dissect you and put you into small jars or inject you with strange substances. I'm sure you don't know the answer to that either"

"And frankly, I'm not Alea. The real Alea is free out there in the sea. I'm only a friend of hers. I'm completely male, but I lack my anthro, only being able to switch between my human, merman, and shark form. I find that I no longer belong in the world of humans and yet I could not fully survive out there in the wild unless I forgo my human mind forever. I'm in constant fear of being hunted, harpooned, dissected and experimented. There are times when I wish I was never bitten. What you're proposing is a bleak future Fiona. Do you really want that?"

Fiona took a deep breath as she considered the possibilities. She was rather high ranking. And while this might drop her in rank, she would still be in control of her own fate. Finally, she nodded. "Yes." She said. "I do want this. Sometimes the best science is done when the researcher has to sacrifice their own saftey. Or body." She said and relaxed. When he mentioned that he wasn't Alea, she looked at him. "Why did you lie to me then?" Already, she was starting to dread reworking all the paperwork that she would have to do. "But yes. I do still want it." She said. "Just try to be gentle." She said and relaxed on the bench, bracking for the pain and closing her eyes.

OOC: I though Axel was born a were? Also, I'd like Fiona to have an anthro shark form. And feel free to say how you want to re work her personality.

((Axel was bitten actually. I'm not too sure if I should make the 'sire' this guy, but that can be for late. Somehow I just imagine his parents as weres. Then again, the thought of parents being in a RP just messes me up entirely. As do pregancies. What can I say, I'm quite oblivious when I want to be . Oh and Fiona's personality can remain the same - I'm quite liking this scientist side of her.))

"I didn't tell anyone I wasn't Alea. She's well... this girl I like. And the last thing I want is to have her be subject to experiments" said Axel wondering how Alea and Daniel was. It didn't seem too bad, after all, the scientists were quire preoccupied with him already and it didn't seem like any other special subject was on board. In any case, Axel had to get himself to safety first before he could even consider where the others were.

"If I turn you, it has to be out in the depths of the sea. I want both myself and Alea to no longer be a test subject. And I will turn only you. I am not going to go biting everyone who simply lines up. Becoming a wereshark is something that is earned via honour and trust" said Axel in a serious tone. He wasn't his jokey self anymore.

"Fiona, whilst part of me is willing to turn you, I am still wary. The world of weresharks and other were creatures alike is a secretive one. We are few and far between and we have remained undetected for centuries. I'll be blunt here. What I don't want to happen is you destroying this sanctuary we have. I'm sure you've seen more than enough of nature's worlds being destroyed by human intervention. What are you going to research? What is your aim?"

"When we got a hold of Alea's blood sample, we noticed a lot of cellular anomalies in her body." Fiona explained. "There were also some viruses in her blood. But not the kind of virus you're thinking. Not caused by... well whatever Alea was bitten. Actual viruses and harmful bacteria but the cells which were already converted were agressivly attacking and destroying them. Far more then usual. We wand to find out where these anomalies were comming from as well as studying the effects of this. Increased immune systems, and possibly even limited regenerative capability." She hoped that Axel would see what she was hoping that he would understand.

"You won't have to worry about you or her being experimented on. With me, we won't have take anyone else. I'll be the one that's being studied on." She said and smiled. "and if anything worthwhile comes out of it, aside from full transformations, well... That's what we'll be looking for. But it'll probbaly be years before we can release it into the wild. So to speak."

Axel rested on the railing and looked out to the sea. He was silent for a while before he spoke again "Well, I never thought that I would be contributing to research this way. But what stopping them from using you to create more were's?" said Axel as he looked at Fiona. He believed that Fiona was telling the truth and that she had the heart and mind to follow through with her promises. And yet he couldn't help but still be worried. Axel could see that since the both of them believed in their own views, the conversation wasn't really going anywhere. The turning point? Axel wanted to get out of here. So maybe he was selfish and didn't consider the full consequences, but hey, even if he stayed things would still turn out the same. So why not be set free and let Fiona fulfill her dream?

"Anyways, I can't turn you here. I have to be out of the water (so that I can be set free). And you need to make sure either Alea or my records are cancelled or whatever its called" said Axel as he thought for a moment. "I need to be wiped off the experiments as if I am no longer here. Inject me with one of your funny substance things so that I go to sleep. Declare me dead. Then take me out to the water with you and I can turn you there" was Axel's quickly thought out plan.

"Just don't tag me" he added just in case with a small hint of smile.
