Open Plot Discussion!This is the start of a New Marvel Universe, with New Heroes and New Villians.
Superpowered heroes have been extinct for a century and everyone now pretty much thinks they are just a fairytale.
Our characters are all original and become "infected" with the dna (and therefore the powers, but not nessacarily the personality traits) of the old Super Heroes and/or Mutants.
These new characters are free to forge their own paths, but learning about their new abilities wil also reveal the truth of the last people who weilded them. It's entirely up to (hypothetical example) the young highschool basketball star whether or not he uses Magneto's powers for good or evil. But will he let the history of Magneto guide him toward a darker path? Or will it inspire him to make better use of the gift that Magneto "wasted on violent ideals"? (End of hypothetical example)

Rules:
1. The character sheet is a necessity, not an option. It will be filled out before you are allowed any in character posts.
2. Good spelling and grammar are preferred. However, if I see effort in your posts I will not scold you by any means.
3. Let's try to keep it to a three paragraph minimum with four or more sentences for each paragraph. One liners are unacceptable.
4. This roleplay is for mature audiences who don't mind reading blood, gore, or cursing.
5. Your character is not invincible. Don't attempt to make him/her so.
6. There is a waiting time for posting. A minimum of two posts must pass before you become eligible to post again.
7. Due to the high demand, I'm going to have to ask everyone to refrain from using Marvel's characters who are invincible, and wouldn't have been effected by the termination of the superhuman population. (ie: Galactus) Sorry if this upsets anyone, but it would be unfair to all the other members of the roleplay.
8. Any absence lasting over three days without posting an explanation BEFORE will be assumed as a quit, and you will be dropped from the roleplay.
9. These rules are subject to change at my discretion.

Biography: On December 15th a baby boy was born to Preston and Rachel Ryder. He was perfectedly healthy. They named him Maximilian Cade Ryder. His upbringing wasn't harsh in fact he had a very loving home. He was fed all three meals daily. Breakfast with his mother and father, before his father left for the law firm he was employed by. Lunch would be served at twelve o'clock on the dot, and he was expected to be inside by that time and be washed up for the meal.
As Cade grew older he found himself slowly becoming more antisocial. He took refuge in his books. The only thing that he found himself forced into that he wanted no part of was definitely baseball. His father, being a devote Yankees' fan forced him to begin practicing the sport at a young age. Cade himself was kind of partial to the Boston Red Sox, having inherited that particular trait from his mom who had been born in Boston. He could never tell his dad that for fear he would react, so he kept that part of him in the closet along with his love from publication.
It wasn't until the age of fifteen that Cade finally worked up the courage to tell his father. His father had only teased him for being a follower of those ugly red stockings they wore. For Christmas that year he recieved a New Era Boston hat. Which he wore religiously, and still wears in present day. The day after Christmas his mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
At the age of sixteen his mother passed away of the disease. If it hadn't been for his father he feared he would have lost his mind. They persevered and made it through though. There were no longer lunches, but his father always made sure breakfast was cooked in the morning.
Cade's life has definitely had its ups and downs. Even if he wanted to have a pity party, he couldn't let himself. His mother would absolutely haunt him if he did anyways.

Biography: Alex would love to say he was smart to begin with, that he could do complex algorithms at record speeds, that he could invent a machine to do anything, but he can't. He would love to say that when he was young he could throw cars like they were hot wheels, that he could smash craters by jumping, or that he could be something great, but he never dreamed anything would ever happen.
Alex was an idiot when he was born, he was stubborn, juvenile, and an all around waste of space. Alex couldn't do math, or hit a baseball with a bat. He couldn't jump higher than a foot, or even know how many inches are in a foot. He was, as the saying goes, the dullest knife in the drawer. His life looked bleak and bad, everyone thought he'd just be another drug junkie coming out of school.
At home his situation was pretty much the same, his parents could care less, they were busy with jobs, trying to scrape up enough money to feed the snot nosed, no brained rat. He never had cherished family time, love, or friends. He really did try but never fit in, he wasn't good at anything, now he's anti-social, tries to keep to himself, and bottles up his anger yet, an honorable part of Alex exist, he would love to help anyone he could, or even be appreciated. Alex was just a curse though, not even enough energy to help anyone. He just hopes something will change soon.

Bio: Timothy was born August 3rd with his twin sister Selena and has two older sisters. Tim lives in a woman dominated home with his father always away because of his involvement in the military. Tim is very over protective of his family and friends, he always feel responsible for them. Tim has his twin sister Selena who he tries to watch over 24/7, his older sister whose a freshmen in college Casey, and his oldest sister who is a junior in college named Carmen.
Tim's mom Ann is a news anchor on Channel 2 News and she worries about Tim working himself too hard in school and in the gym. He tries to reach his physical peak by going to the gym almost everyday and will workout for hours on end to the point where he'll pass out or get over heated. He loves hot days and spends them sometimes at the beach relaxing in the sun and collecting his thoughts.
In school, Tim is an average student with average grades but tries to excel further and ends up stressing and becoming drained. Tim is a flirt but fails hard at it because he gets nervous and bombs it. He gets told that him and his twin sister are exactly like in personality but look nothing alike.

Biography: Severina was a rich girl, raised by nannies more than parents, who were always gone. Usually away at parties or at meetings, they had little time to spend with the young Severina.
As a child she began to research the old fairytales about superpowers and mutations. A bit of investigation revealed rumors that her great grandfather had been among them. Unable to get answers from her parents, she quickly became obsessed.
Her teen years started to see her lose faith in certain moral standards she had adored her legendary idols for. When she acted rashly to save somone just like a hero, she ended up "rescuing" a young psychotic case from her latest victim. Thus began her pessimistic outlook.
Highschool was worse. She withdrew from her freinds and grew even more obsessed with the old tales of Heroes and of her own great grandfather.
Still her parents refused to talk about it. "It's bad luck to talk about such things" They would say. "Why not take an interest in real things, like science or ballet? And forget these ghastly notions of freaks saving the world."
Needless to say, they were overjoyed when she started taking volunteer hours at Stark Industries headquarters and extra science courses at school.
