Violet had her knee crossed over the other and was sipping at the last few drops in her glass when the old woman finally returned with the first human. Before throwing her gaze in their direction, Violet rolled her eyes dramatically at Tobias, a gesture she tended to a lot with him. “Slob,” she muttered before meeting eyes with Helen.
“The other one?” she asked her.
“I will return for her.”
“Hurry,” Violet told her before finally crossing her eyes over to the first girl. She was a tiny thing- thin and short, though to another human her height would probably be average; such weak little humans. With her shoes, Violet reached just past six foot, meaning she would almost be a full head taller than the girl. But Since the girl’s arrival, her fear towards them had not once crossed her eyes. Violet figured it was a mask- who wouldn’t be terrified of them? She was almost impressed that the girl was able to remain so calm, but her annoyance overruled that feeling; she always found it quite amusing to watch a human sob, begging for their freedom, throwing themselves left to right. It was quite pathetic, but very entertaining.
The girl was somewhat pretty as well, as much as a human can get at least. Violet even almost felt a pang of jealousy when Allister had decided to make the first move among the rest of them. It was actually a little strange seeing a man so tall next to a girl an entire twelve inches shorter...
Violet kept silent while waiting for the girl to answer the question, but there was no answer. The girl stayed silent, obviously avoiding all contact the best she could. Before Violet could object to the girl’s silence, the doors to the kitchen opened once again, revealing a new face. This one was much taller and made her fear much more obvious.
“Guess you would prefer to be known as ‘Servant’, then? Since you won’t give us your name...“ Violet looked at the girl again, speaking to her with annoyance. "What about you, your name?" She asked the other girl sternly, even though she could really care less. Why hadn't they gotten a male human, anyways? Jorge was getting just as old, if not older. Guess the girls would just have to take up the man's jobs as well.
Violet sighed. "You two are here to serve the house. Try and run if you please, but I assure you that you won't get far. Disobeying wouldn't be a wise choice either, I warn you, and if you don't believe me, ask Lilly here." Lilly suddenly appeared at the doorway. "That being said, Lilly and Helen will give you a list of what you are expected to do, as well as they," she motioned to the males in the room, "will have their own expectations. I will not, since I have Lilly." Violet finally finished. She figured she'd be the one to introduce them to their new life, since it seemed as if the others were a little distracted.
"Lilly, go fetch the girls some clothes," Violet turned towards the doorway once again.
Lilly nodded silently, the way she always responded, and left, returning just minutes later, each of her arms holding two similiar dresses. Walking to where the girls were standing, Lilly placed the clothing on the floor in front of them. She left them each a pitied smile, doing her best to hide the gesture from the vampires.
