Humans rule the world but in the shadows monsters exist, beasts from legends and stories secretly co-exist with humans or live secretly hidden away. To live with humans monsters must learn to take human form and live as they do, to do this they must attend Youkai Academy a school for monsters.
This is where you come in, as a new student you will be studying, making friends and who knows what else! Powers will be limited at first with the aim being to power up through a couple of arcs, there will be plenty of time for romance, friendships and rivalries too though so don't worry about it being all combat.

Personality: Air-headed and Imaginative, Honest and Curious, Optimistic and Oblivious. A very huggy person, and a kinaesthetic learner. Can't accept unnecessary violence, and deeply cares for her friends…even the flakey ones. Has small knowledge on societal norms...
History: An amnesiac found in Canada, she had been taken in by a married couple (Water Dragons). They enrolled her into the Youkai Academy so she can learn more about being a youkai, and how to live with humans. Her unknown past might be interesting...or exceedingly boring, likely the latter.
Abilities: Can freely manipulate luck, the outcome or chance of something occurring (She could increasing the likelihood of someone winning the lottery, or decrease the likelihood of someone pulling through a life endangering surgery). A kiss from her can either imbue a person with good fortune for a day, or give them the full ability to speak and understand animals for a day. And a hug...Well, a hug is just a hug. She has never tried to use the full extent of her powers, thus doesn't know her limit yet. Legendary flexibility. High levels of speed, stealth, and agility. Very low endurance, physical strength and defence. She’s better at escaping that actually engaging in combat. She is mildly resistant against heat damage, but is especially weak against cold damage, though she can breathe under water.
Other: English as first language. She is cold-blooded and likes warm things. Her favorite snack are live mice, which she usually swallows whole. She can swallow and store objects in her body.

Personality: She doesn't speak at all, but she is actually very nice and out going, letting her friends do the talking as she just enjoys everything going on around her.
History: Originally a regular girl, Mia died in a car accident, and was brutally torn to pieces. She was resurrected by a doctor who took on the name Frankenstein, and recreated Mia, sewing the body parts back together, and used magic known as "Life Magic" to resurrect Mia. Now, Mia is a reanimated corpse, trying to get by. She also doesn't have a voice box any more, which is why she doesn't speak. More like she can't.
Abilities: Mia has the ability to manipulate the life energy within in her to resurrect other dead things to control. She can also attach other body part to herself and with her life energy, she can manipulate them as if they were normal limbs. Tentacles, extra arms, specialized spiked tails, blades, etc.
Other: she keeps a needle and thread on her should she feel the desire to attach more body parts to herself and a notepad + pen to convey her thoughts in a conversation

@Majorersa Can you explain a little more about how her power works? Also do you have a history planned that you will reveal later?
@FrozenSprites accepted on the condition her life manipulation/necromancy is very weak to begin with, zombies are quite physically strong anyway

Naw, probably no backstory...unless I need one, shes a pretty boring character. I'll give more details on her powers.

@majorersa ok, it's your chara though some details of maybe how she got amnesia or at least what happened to her right after she realised she had no memories would be helpful. I meant more like how she does it, is a spell, is it very specific or broad that kind of thing

Personality: A bubbly young girl, Mi is welcoming and wishes to make as many friends as possible no matter the situation she is in. She hates making others feel badly and love the feeling of giving. She is known to get nervous somewhat easily in situations that create a certain amount of pressure.
History: Mi was born in her Youkai form and has known it to be her true form her entire life. She was raised by a pair of Youkai's and has not known any other life. She has always showed impressive control over maintaining her form so he parents decided that they would send her to the academy two years earlier, thinking she was up for the challenge. Mi although being young is somewhat mature for her age because of her knowledge of the threat too her family that is the humans.
Abilities: Mi has a small amount of control of the temperature within a five foot radius of herself, she can only affect it at this point by approximately ten degrees and although she cannot yet make it exact she hopes to be able to widen her range of effectiveness and also learn to change it much more drastically. She also has an increased ability of smell and hearing due to her canine-esque Youkai form.
Other: She has some canine habits like circling her position before laying down and scratching herself with her feet from time to time.
