We are going to start off with a normal hand to hand combat, working up to weapons, and then powers. Two posts for each. I'm currently deciding on the environment, and the character you will be fighting.

We will be fighting on a sandy beach. The description is up to you, and you may add anything insane about the environment. (There being no gravity. Or the waters being frozen. Or some crazy monster being the water. Or whether we are on an island or on the mainland.)

You have the first post. Your first post is always an introduction post. No fighting. No setting traps. It is simply there to describe your character, who she is, what she looks like, and the environment, so we know where we are fighting and don't have to say it later when we are tossing punches.

Since you have the first post you also have to create the thread. Put the thread in the Arena, title it something catchy, and include the fighter's names somewhere so anyone looking at it knows who is involved.

I am creating a new character that is a descendant of my first charactor that I created many years ago. She will have magical powers but not as strong as Rosewoode. Here is the spell books are kept:

Naureen will have mastered some of those skills but not all. I will list the ones that she can do as well as the weapon/s.

Here is my girl's CS.


Name: Naureen Merriweather

Age: 17

Height: 5 foot 2 inches

Weight: 125 pounds

Body type: On the short side but very muscular due to the heavy work of a farmer as her main occupation growing up.

Hair: Long red hair that is kept in a braid which hangs over the left shoulder normally.

Eyes: Deep green

Other: A rose vine tattooed up the left leg, beginning at the ankle and going up to the hip. The roses are in various colors and blooming stages. It wraps around the calf and around the lower part of the thigh. The vine is less full at the hip area.

Naureen is a lefty but can use her right hand well enough to be considered as an ambidextrous person but her left side is naturally stronger than her right. She usually wears skirts that is mid calf in length and is loose enough to swirl about in. The skirts always have side pockets and is held up with a home made leather belt that has several pouches which are fastened securely with velcro. She wears a long peasant style blouse that is tucked inside of the skirt. She wears knee length leather boots with soft socks.

Personality:
Usually fun loving and enjoys nature, hiking, plants and animals. She is a pacifist but will defend herself and those around her. She is not the kind to go and to find a fight nor will she back down from one if it is necessary. She will compromise with another person to avoid a fight.

Naureen carries a back pack of stuff with her no matter where goes. Various items go into this backpack such as her Spell Books that she should be learning.

I am not entirely sure what your character does, but as long as it makes sense in your posts. There is no problem. I'm relying on your ability to describe them accurately in the fight.

I will use the English translation and not Gealic. Each spell is composed of various parts. For example, to make a tornado or whirlwind, you must do these things in order:

1) Mar fhoirm gaoithe (Wind form)
2) Buille sciobtha! (Swirl! or go around)
3) Gaoithe buille a dtí mo namhaid ( Wind blow to my enemy)
4) Mhilleadh mo namhaid! ( Destroy my enemy)

Each step takes a bit of time to do. Once you are more experience in magic, you can put the phrases together faster. Does that sound logical?

I can understand the meaning behind most of your spells, I didn't mean it wasn't logical, but I'm not entirely sure why the there are translations for numbers, days, and time. That part isn't well explained. I assume its part of the lore, or the ritual in casting the spells.

Regardless, the character sheet is a secondary thing. I wasn't expecting you to post a sheet. Haha. I should have made that clear, but its not a bad thing. I posted mine so you'd get an idea of who you were fighting.

I'm more concerned about how well you can portray your character's actions in your writing. You can have an iffy character sheet, but as long as your writing is good. It doesn't matter.

Days and time are for more advanced students and those who can 'set' spells to go off in the future. Numbers are used for how many let's say small whirl winds to clean the floor... stuff like that. Not all of the spells are on her CS.

I need a CS because then I can form ideas as to how she will respond to certain situations. I keep notes on my fav characters and the ones that I have used in the past for new characters for certain kinds of RPs. Like in this character, I am not sure how to fight, so I will be keeping track of what is going on and also how I could do it better next time.
