She didn't want to stop, for she had become aware of another person in the area. Honestly, if it were another freaky child or a Cleanser she was going to have a fit. She was a tad relieved when she noticed the man was too tired to give chase, but she was too injured to run. Shadow sure was taking his sweet time to heal her, possible waiting for her to stop and calm down, but she couldn't do that now.
She clutched the sledge with one hand, trying to crawl away and ignore the horribly sharp pain from the earlier received bullet wound as she gasped from the deep cut in her throat. Shadow managed to slow the bleeding, but that was it.
I don't wanna die. She thought sadly to herself, hot tears trickling down her cheeks.
