Drake nodded his head - carefully - as he looked at the man who had now crawled on his face. It would have been a sad thing if he shook his head and the man flew off his face, but thankfully it didn't happen. Now, however, he had to follow instructions and do what the man told him to do. Tucking in his wings, Drake rolled over to the right of the river and began diving for the smaller streets.

    I'm Johnny Goode, YO'!"

As Everywhere was climbing A-man got his thoughts together for a moment and focused. He brought the memory of the pattern for AEtherkinesis back into his mind and forced his brain to match. Luckily this took less time than usual with an actual AEtherkinetic nearby. However, there was something off about this AEtherkinetic's powers and so he decided not to copy them too precisely. He focused on distance as his only defining factor for this mode. Hopefully it would make them able to reach the port in time.

As soon as they landed he fell from the dragon's claws and covered a large section of the sidewalk in sick. He was none too happy about the situation but he had no time to dawdle now. He started folding space in the direction of the docks and managed to find an empty shipping container through an eye-hole sized portal. With Everywhere's assistance he was able stretch the portal just wide enough for the dragon to waddle through. As soon as they both went through after the portal popped closed and A-man fell to the ground in exhaustion. He couldn't' recall ever making a portal with that level of distance before.

Knowing full well that right now he'd be unable to avoid the situation, Timas remained still, silently looking on as he was restrained, then bundled into the secure operations vehicle by the Ministry's Agents. All he could do now was wait, and remain silent until they eventually decided to discard him once it became aparrent that their interrogation techniques would fail, or until his employer could find a way to release him from his shackles. Regardless of what lay ahead, Timas knew where his loyalty was placed.

"Divert us from here and return to the HQ Building, before the local authorities begin to suspect that we have involvement in the operation."
    "Understood, sir."

Luther breathed a sigh of dissapointment, leaning back in his seat as the VTOL began to deviate from its current location, moving towards the Xerith Industries HQ Building which stood atop the city, amongst a few other taller buildings. Aside from the annoyance caused by the loss of one of his best teams at the hands of what he considered to be the "incompetents" within the Ministry, and the concern for Timas, he also felt embarrassed. He'd been foolish today, to make such a rash decision as he did. Not only had the 'dragon' fled off to potential danger, but several of his best operatives had perished, and Timas was now under the custody of the Ministry, facing interrogation. It was due to this that he considered /that/ particular situation fortunate in that Timas had undergone numerous, rigourous training routines to ensure that, in the case of capture, he would be able to resist interrogation techniques ranging from basic torture to complex mind-digging attempts by telepaths. Still, the thought of it was not pleasant, and he intended to free Timas from captivity at some point. When the opportunity arose, at least.

Aurelia listened to the gunfire in the hallway with her back pressed to the wall, struggling with a panic that wouldn't go away. The only way to HardeWare's location anywhere close ot her was blocked! The gunfire and shouting made her nervous. She could always cloak and sprint across, but with all of the fighting, she'd probably get hit. Glancing at the open door, she tried to make a decision. Luckily someone had left the stairwell open, meaning she didn't have to risk giving herself away by opening it, only for no one to walk through and show themselves. Ignoring her fears, she entered the alcove surrounding the door, listening to the gunfire and what sounded like the roar of a flame? She braced herself and ran for broke across the hall, pistol in-hand, her camo-envelope hiding her from view. luckily the gunfire had died down and, when she was sure no one else was watching, she opened the door to the basement levels and slipped through.

The basement wasn't much different compared to the rest of the building. run down, but relatively intact. The concrete walls all looked the same, but the beacon she had on HardeWare would lead her straight to him, as long as he didn't move too much. Or she could just follow the extremely loud whistle he'd just let loose. She internally groaned as it dawned on her that, while he was drawing her to him, he was also recklessly drawing everyone else to himself as well. All plans for a stealthy getaway were swept away, replaced with thoughts of a drawn out game of cat and mouse. She sprinted down the stairs and turned countless corners, tracking the sound back to HardeWare.

She wasn't the first to reach him. "look out!" The sound of a little girl's voice amidst this kind of chaos and danger shocked her. She dropped her cloak and raised her shields, reactivatign her civ-camo in the blink of an eye. pistol in -hand, she turned into a doorway and was forced to spin to the side to avoid being barreled over by a charging HardeWare, carrying a worried-looking little girl and a teddybear. Predicting what was going on, she waited for the duo to move farther down the hall before spinning back into the doorway, pistol leveled.

Her eyes stared down the sights with cold precision as she took precise aim and pulled the trigger. One. Two. a pair of darts hit the angry looking man's chest, his expression still shifting in reaction to her appearance. One. Two. another pair in his accomplice's chest. no effect. He was a superdurable. She turned and ran down the hall. They were too close for her to switch clips, so she chose to tail HardeWare, the red-striped clip clenched in her hand. She felt an unpleasant chill run through her. Aurelia did not like firearms. She didn't like shooting people, even if it was just tranq darts. It always felt cold, unnatural.

This day was just getting worse and worse. Hardeware in an instant had gone from valuable bargaining chip to a massive liability to him. Even more annoying, he had taken Mia. "That's it. I don't care anymore. We catch him if we can, but if he puts up too much resistance we just kill him and get out of here" he said, starting to get irrational in his anger, before someone rounded the corner and fired two darts at him before he could dodge.
dammit... I let this affect me too much... he thought as he collapsed, with his superdurable henchman chasing after her.
"You will pay for that, girl!" the large man yelled out as he pursued them.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well this is certainly getting bad Evie thought to herself, watching the monitors of the secret passage's security station. Evie wasn't one for loyalty, but allies like her family had their uses. She would wait a little longer, but if they got themselves caught, she was gone.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vivian wasn't the best fighter in the base, but she was at least good enough to deal with any of the thugs that decided to wander too far from their friends. At this point, it was a guarantee that this base was doomed, but she wondered what was keeping her husband. The answer to that came when she saw Sean on the ground, knocked out from tranquilizers. From the shouting coming down the hallway, it was obvious that Hardeware managed to get out, and based on the type of darts on the ground, one of the intruders must have found him.
While it was a little difficult, she managed to at least lift him enough that she could take him with her to the secret passage out of the base. Hopefully she could find a guard still conscious or alive and get them to help. Once some of the burden was off of her, she could work on helping his body get the drugs out of his system.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was rather startling for Mia to suddenly be picked up, and even more so with the sudden running. It got even stranger when some lady appeared out of nowhere, and from the sound of things, did something that really angered one of her father's henchmen. From the sound of things out here, it seemed as though the other henchmen weren't exactly doing very well either. Should I tell them about the passages... it might get them out of here safely... but Evie might be down there... or she could be up here... what is even happening? What do I do? Mia thought to herself, starting to panic a little at the chaos of the situation, before Johnny decided to answer for her.
"Be careful. There may be a number of guards around still. If the guys attacking here are your friends, then you can probably meet up with them out the main entrance, but may have to fight pretty much all of the remaining guards to get out. If you want, there is at least one secret passageway out of the base... but we don't know if there is anyone in it right now, and might just trap us." Johnny said, trying to make sure both Hardeware and the mysterious newcomer also following them heard it. After all, with all the noise, stealth wasn't really a problem at the moment.

The mop-up operation had already begun, but there had not yet been any sign of any of the Geran leaders. This somewhat annoyed Jade, who really would have expected to have fought at least one of the three by now. He was aching to take one of them down a few notches and it was slowly starting to bug him. With the Geran Group largely in disarray, however, he felt confident that his men could handle the rest and file out before the Ministry arrived. This meant he could go out looking for them himself. It wasn't that hard to keep track of some of the people standing guard outside to know when the Ministry would arrive while also making enemies near him zone out just enough for him to shoot them. They were already panicking and he was a pretty damn good shot with his revolver.

There were a couple of minds moving around him, and he knew one of them well enough to know he had to stay the hell out of their way. He made sure not to use his telepathy on HardeWare as he looked for a place to hide. Usually stealth was easy, given that he could just make himself unseen (which was different from making himself invisible), but he wasn't going to touch him anymore. Not after what happened last time. That headache had lasted for days. When he moved past, Jade could see he had the younger Geran with him, which he already knew, followed by a teddy-bear, which he wasn't even going to ask about and Aurelia. There was something up with that woman. He'd been around her a few times now and she never even registered as a mind to him. It was strange.

They apparently had another hanger-on, who Jade simply didn't bother with. When the coast was clear, he moved on to the two other minds that had peaked his interest, although one of them had grown rather dim. The other one seemed fine, however. "Good evening, Vivian," he said. She could see his grin appear on the normally blank mask. "How have you been?"

    ---

So far, it did not look like Evie had spotted him. Evidently she wasn't as observant as his worst-case scenario had predicted, although with everything going on, someone like him would be easy to miss. Excellent. While Jade may have been somewhat of a show-off, Aginor most certainly wasn't. He was not going to announce his presence unless he absolutely had to, and he certainly wasn't going to do it before he could make his first move. Slowly but surely, he crept up to Evie's little hide-out, his weapon already drawn. With any luck, one stab in her back should finish her off, but he wasn't about to assume he was lucky.

    ---

Everywhere was dizzy. That was really weird. Everywhere was hardly ever dizzy. He'd done tricks most acrobats would get a little bit of a headache from, but he'd always been fine. Now he seriously felt the need to sit down somewhere and not get up for an hour or two. Or three, whatever. He fell over and closed his eyes to make the world stop spinning around him. "Well," he said, his voice sounding far off, "that was a lot of fun. Let's not do it again."

Who is this freak? Vivian found herself thinking as she looked at the weird masked man in front of her as she set down her husband. "I can tell already you aren't one of us, and based on your expression, you probably have no intention of letting us leave in peace." she said, as a few small electro-knives floated out of her pockets. "So I'll give you this one and only chance. Leave now or die." she said, threatening him. If he left, all the better. If he kept his distance, the knives would work fine. Best case in a fight, he would think to get in close, so she wouldn't throw knives at the risk of hitting herself... only to be grabbed and torn apart from the inside out from a 'healing' power. Everyone always thought of her husband or her older daughter when fearing the Geran group. What a mistake for them to forget to include her. Vivian smirked, as the knives readied themselves to be thrown the instant he tried to do anything but escape.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Evie gave a light sigh of boredom. Waiting for everyone to get here was very boring. And it was even more boring waiting for that guy behind her to get in close. What an over-cautious man. Of course, he was sneaking up on her, so he was right to be cautious. Understandable, but pointless. Once she felt he was close enough, a quite significant number of spikes erupted from the back of her chair, attempting to impale him into the opposite wall. "Took you long enough" she said mockingly, while standing to face her opponent she pretty much expected to dodge the attack, seeing as how he even managed to get down here in the first place.

Two eyes, seemingly made of ink as well, appeared above the smile, although their only apparent purpose was to wink at her, before his body faded away, leaving only his mask before that, too, disappeared. Vivian was now looking at an empty hallway. "Come now," the man's voice came from right behind her, "is that a way to greet one of your guests?"

    ---

Aginor stayed quiet as the spikes flew at him. He effortlessly stepped to the side, each of the Qi constructs flying right past him and embedding themselves in the far wall. He stayed still otherwise, his face undetectable behind his mask, seemingly inviting her to make another move.

The Gerran headquarters weren't much trouble to find; especially with the increased police presence in the area. Operative 048693 stalked around the cordon looking for a weak point to slip through. He found one. A cop has foolishly placed himself in a position behind their van where his fellows wouldn't see him. And this was his unlucky day. 048693 marched straight at him. The officer looked up from the cigarette he was lighting and received a metal fist to his larynx. A second blow destroyed his radio. The officer tried to back up, to make a noise against the metal transport but his assailant would not allow it. The operative took a firm grip of the cops uniform and pulled him forward. With a turn he twisted the officers arm behind him. Using the arm as a fulcrum point 048693 broke the mans back. Before leaving the operative slashed his blade across the cop's neck, leaving the paralyzed man to bleed out.

Nasa dispatched another officer in much the same way as he got closer to the fighting. It was slow going for him as the distance between the officers became smaller. Arriving at the supposed “base” Nasa circled around to find a piece of wall not easily viewed from without. Setting a breaching charge he backed away along the wall. The charge exploded sending dust and masonry out into the street and into the building. Barely seconds after the charge had detonated Nasa was inside electro-blade drawn. There were two Gerran cronies in the room where the operative had made his entry. They turned to aim their weapons but the dust made it hard for them to get a visual on their assailant. Nasa had no problem thanks to his helmet. The first thug never got the chance to fire as he went down, the sword slicing through the soft tissue in his neck. The second fared little better, managing to squeeze off a few shots before Nasa lanced his blade through him.

Deactivating his weapon, Nasa cleaned it on the bodies of the men before sheathing it in favor of his rifle. While he was glad that they had been regular thugs not power wielders By now the explosion was bound to have been noticed by both sides. And the two dead officers were bound to have been missed or found.

With hostiles behind and in front Nasa moved forward. His helmet activated it's HUD and began scanning for security nodes. Wherever the electrical lines converged the operative headed there. Even as he advanced the sounds of gunfire and explosions moved farther off deeper into the complex. As the operative entered a security room he found two guards; from the government.

One of them was a Ostrakinetic. A mass of red colored stuff surrounded Nasa's gun hand, immobilizing it and pushing it away. In response his other hand flicked out, sending a dart into the man's gut. A few seconds later the red field dissipated. Unfortunately the other officer was a superstrength. He charged the intruder with a wordless shout. Distracted, Nasa was unable to dodge and was brought to the floor with a huffing grunt. The officer wrenched the rifle away. The operative slammed his helmeted head into the officers face. The sharp edges of the helmet drew blood as straight lines opened on the officer's face. He screamed and lurched back hand on his face. Taking the opening Nasa drew his electro-blade. As the officer lurched at him the blade met him, piercing his heart.

With both officers dead 048693 collected his rifle, placing a bullet through the Ostrakinetic's head, and sheathed his blade. Then he approached the banks of computers. The operative shut off the computer screens before pulling forth a data storage device. Plugging it in to a tower, Operative 048693 sat down next to the tower, allowing himself to slump down as if he was dead. Pulling a cord from a gauntlet of his armor, 048693 connected it to the computer. With a few taps on a key pad the Priesthood operative slumped lifelessly, his conscious mind redirected to invading the computer systems.

HardeWare flung his remaining projectiles behind him, the dust filling the air in the corridor. He charged around the corner, following after the girl with the tranq-gun.
"Hey, Aurelia, thanks for the save, hold this child."
HardeWare quickly passed the small girl over to his rescuer, taking the small pistol out of her grasp as he did so.
"Keep running, there should be a way out around here somewhere, I dunno, how did you get in? Also, how are you doing by the way, I'm kind of annoyed that I dragged you out here, sorry about that."

HardeWare glanced behind him, readying the pistol at anything that was following them.
"I think we should work some kind of taser into the next version of this arm, it would really come in handy right now."

"What do you mean its not possible?"
