"Nice to meet you Evangeline, My name is Frius Mahts. Things should be okay, at least for a little bit, but I'll stay up and keep lookout, just to be safe." She said quietly, her jumpy, shy self coming back out to play. "Um, I'm sorry, I never caught your name." She whispered to the brunette who had saved her. While she was talking, Frius continued to pull them by their hands. They may be in more danger for having come into contact with her, but they were dead if they didn't stick together now.

{SAFE Base}

"YOU FOOLS!" Inu yelled as he looked at the four shivering SAFE members. "How is it that four of you were defeated by her so easily?! Are you not trained enough to catch a fifteen year old girl?!" He exclaimed pacing back and forth behind his desk. He leveled a glare on all of them, causing them to squirm where they stood, under the intense gaze from their young, fear inducing leader. "What did the Freak have to say to you failures?" he demanded.

"Sh-sh- ACHOO! Ugh... She s-said that i-if you wanted her, t-to fight her yours-self." One of them managed to get out, shivering and sneezing still. They all had thick blankets wrapped around their bodies, and they still had blue lips; Having been defrosted and immediately transported back to base for debriefing. "Sir, I d-don't understand, you've never t-told us why you ma-made Priority One, well.. Priority O-One." He commented. Their hooded leader stiffened, then, ever so slowly, he pulled down the hood that he always kept up, even when he's in his dark office, his face never seen. Once it was down, the boy looked up, opening his eyes. The four members gasped, for there, staring back at them, was a male form of Priority One. Same white hair, same blue eyes. Only, one of those eyes were blood red, and a red scar ran from that eye, to his chin, another one crossing over it and going over his nose. Three more ran across that eye-to-chin scar.

"You have only ever known me as Inu, but my full name is Inu Daniel Mahts, twin brother to Frius Breeze Mahts, Priority One. I know of the dangers those Freaks pose more than anyone. After all, if they would attack their twin, who wouldn't they attack?" he asked, pulling his hood back up. he went over to his intercom. "Connor, escort these for men to the medical bay, and once they are healed, to the training compound again, they need to start from round one." he called.

"Training? But we passed that!" One called out.

"Then you shall have no problems about passing it again." He replied coolly. Then, once again to the intercom. "Dean, if you could send Evan Brazley and Lucien Grey to interrogation room C. I want to give them a mission after I question this... Wood Bender who was brought in." he requested, getting a 'Yessir' from the speaker. With that, he headed down to the interrogation wing.

Linkin smiled and followed after them, with one last glance to the frozen SAFEs. Flicking her tail, she turned back to the ice girl and blond. "What do you mean 'harder'?" she asked quietly, glancing up at the moon then back down to the two other girls. "Life's always been hard for Powers... It's not going to change," she murmured, thinking of her best friend, and adopted brother, Evan. He was a SAFE now... she was sure of it.

"We're hated because of something we can't control." Fighting back the tears, she unfolded her ears from atop her head and kept them perked. She needed to be alert... Linkin thought it was part of her duty now to help the two girls with her. And that meant warning them of danger.

Evan was working calmly in his room, looking over some papers when a picture fell out. It was him... and Linkin. Her wolf ears were perked on her head, and she was smiling brightly, just as he was. Her tail wa around his waist and they looked like two best friends. He closed his eyes at the painful reminder, and jumped when a knock sounded at his door.

"Sir, you're needed in interrogation room C. Inu's orders."

"I'll be right there," he called, quickly shoving the picture into his desk drawer and standing. Pulling on his shoes, and grabbing a jacket, he stalked out of the room. Finally, he might be getting a mission. Through the halls he went, until he came to the room. Pushing open the door, he went inside and sat down, waiting for Inu or someone else to come in and tell him what was going on.
