Calista closed her eyes and sighed- for what this being was saying was true. She had ‘taken a gamble’, and she should have thought and considered more before being so reckless. Instead, she blindly created a world in hopes of achieving her goal, only to bring herself pain and disappointment. She parted her lips to speak, but a loud popping and cracking noise drew her attention away. Mighty mountains had begun to erupt from the land and separate the beauty from the corruption. She smiled brightly while leaning over to peer down at the new structures. They were large, beautiful structures…all worthy of her world. ’So beautiful, she thought as a joyful tears began to fill her eyes. She reached up and wiped them away with the back of her index finger while scanning the green lands for the source of such beauty. Sure enough, it was her dearest creation; Gunthar. She parted her lips to speak to the fiery haired male, but felt a cold chill crawl up her spine once more. She straightened her posture and turned her attention back to the Pale One. He had refused to give her a name, and so she would name him herself.

    ”Your creations will perish.”

Her eyes widened, and her heart seemed to skip a beat. Her once vibrant and happy glow faded completely as she stared into his fiery red eyes. “But-“she began before he spoke again.

    “Your vision will be tainted.”

She placed a hand over her heart, clutching it. His words cut through her like the sharpest daggers, and yet he continued.

    “All you create….will eventually burn

Her once happy tears were now filled with sorrow as they slowly ran down her cheek. Her body shook lightly with sorrow and fear as he continued. She could hear him, but it was so distorted. Her vision was blurring, and her head was swirling.

    All you create…will eventually burn…

It repeated over and over in her head, taunting her. Tearing at her heart, her hopes, her desires… She watched through blurred vision as he pulled back the veil and stepped through, leaving her alone with her pain.

“Why…?” she asked herself as she peered back down at her beautiful world. Her tears slowly rolled down her cheeks and fell down onto the world. “…why can’t I have a beautiful world…?” she brought her hands to eyes once more and wept- her tears slipping through the cracks of her fingers and falling to the land she loved.
This new race, the dwarves, would soon learn of rain…
    …and floods.

Dolor had finished his realm for now, so he need to contact the other gods. He walked to the main city of the Arcanuims. In the middle there is small clear opening. He used his godly power. Straining, he tore a hole into his realm, making a inter- realm door way. Letting the Derith build a decorative door around it, he set up a blessing. He closed his eyes and spoke in the language his Arcanuims spoke in. He put a blessing over them, allowing his words and power to make the Arcanuims blessed. Having his two judges, the King and prince of demons, walk with him back to the realm of earth, and the other gods. Stepping into the gate with his hero's he felt confidint.

The portal opened to a small rock in the black void, just looking over earth. He had not seen another god in such a long time. A laugh erurpts from inside him, booming into the realm. It felt good, to have power. MWHAHAHAHA, it would not stop, this joy at showing off his most prized creations, his realm, judges and power. He finally stopped and made a burst of power, letting the other gods know he was there, if they had not guessed from the laugh. If there where new gods, the laugh might really unsettle them, as it was wicked. He smiled and waited for the first god to arrive.

Gunthar looked upon his creations. Sure... they looked merry enough. But there had to be more he could do for them! Something more he could gift his little followers to allow them to prosper better. Perhaps some sort of tonic to drink. Like water, but full of all sorts of delicious things. Like the plants that dotted his mountains. If only he could somehow impart this knowledge upon them. How could he, though? They were so tiny, and he was so big! There was no way he could just tell them to their faces. He had to think, and he had to think hard. What way could he pass on this theory of his? Using all the intelligence his godly brain could muster, he came up with the perfect idea. He would shout it at them! If you can't talk to someone, you need to scream at them! So he did. He started to yell at the little dot sized creatures. "PUT THE GREEN STUFF IN THE WATER AND LET IT SIT. LET THE JUICES SEEP IN. DO IT YA LITTLE BEARDED BASTARDS." He would continue to yell. It seemed as though something clicked. Maybe it wasn't his shouting, but rather him focusing on transfering the knowledge to them. Either way, the Dwarves began to forage more, and collect certain plants. They constructed barrels, and let the herbs rot away in the water. Through trial and error, they got something amazing; ale.

All was well! The dwarves drank the knew alcoholic beverage, and merriment spread far and wide across the tribes. Of course, the floods then started. Dwarves really weren't good swimmers, and holes in the ground didn't offer much protection. Luckily mountains did, for the most part. If only more of them were sober enough to climb... But that was besides the point. Unaware that a new, terrible thing called "death" had suddenly appeared, Gunthar was too busy shaking his fist at the heavens, where the rain appeared from. "STOP WITH THE BLASTED WATER. YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME BEARD SOGGY, YA BASTARD." He once again began to shout. It worked last time, so why not this time?!

Libramen, just coming to an end of writing the days events of his new scroll, looked up at how the world had unfolded around him, how much there was to record as his fellow deities kept creating, kept forming new life.
He decided that he must have some help soon, if he is to be able to record all the happenings of these new planes of existence. He formed from the earth six beings that would help him to see all that would happen. Slowly, six new birdlike creatures came into existence. Three male, and three female. He called these beings the Finders. The only mistake made, though, was the absence of only one eye in each of them.
Slowly, he reached down to the forming earth, and picked six small, smooth stones from it. He rounded the stones, and blessed the artifacts to the Finders. Through these 'eyes,' the Finders now possessed the ability to see the past, present, and future, respectively.
But his work was not complete. Certainly, these creatures will need a place live. Taking this into consideration, Libramen crafted a large mountain on the earth, and topped the mountain with a cavelike dwelling for his new creations, and himself.

As he crossed back over into his home plane, Seraphal sighed. This was going to be no simple task. His siblings had done a great deal to muck up his plans. The Universe was totally unbalanced. The First Reapings would need to occur. He would have to send a message to his siblings. That their actions had consequences, and none were immune to the laws of existence.

As Seraphal took his first steps towards this once virgin world, he had to smile. For the first time in a eternity, he had purpose. A purpose that he yearned to complete with all that he was.

"Let my siblings have their fun.. I will have mine." He smirked as he touched down on this glorious new world. It was beautiful. Calista's vision, although deluded, was glorious. He reached forth and pulled back the veil. His Ethereal Plane extended even here.

All around him life flourished. Soon that would change. Every step he took, the earth upon which he walked, withered. All he touched, died. Animals ran in fear.

"Balance will be restored." Seraphal breathed. Much of this landscape had been purged of life. Brush and Trees lie brown and rotten. Carcasses of animals littered the earth, already reduced to brittle chalky bones. He thought of Calista, and frowned. Destroying innocence was not pleasant for him. But it had to be done.

With that, he pulled back the veil and stepped back through. His next target were the War-Born. He watched in amusement as the mighty creature tread across their tainted earth, smashing rocks and the twisted fauna that inhabited this land. He would feel no feelings of remorse ending these beasts' lives. Seraphal reached out of the veil, and tapped a particularly massive War-Born upon the back. The beast let out a groan, and crashed to the earth. All around it, other stood still, watching in amazement.

"It is a sad day when death is a foreign concept to the world." Seraphal thought to himself. Over and over, he repeated this process, one by one, the massive war-born crashed into the earth, their souls ripped from their very bodies by Seraphal.

Seraphal's body was feeling heavy, bloated with the souls of those he reaped. But he had one last stop to make. He pulled back the veil and stepped out. His eyes met those of a particularly large bearded man, one's who divine essence felt similar to that of Calista's.

"I have come to reap your dwarves." Seraphal said, his eyes burning with determination.

    Orden
Orden looked over the new, wondrous universe created. A mighty work, the gods could make. Calista had made the Sun, The Moon and the Stars, oh what a wonderful creation. Throughout all this, he still worked on his plans to improve the world below and carry out the perfecting of the planet through gifting the races of Humans down there. In addition to this, he could see everywhere in the world there were savage monsters, scurrying about. However, there were no men or women, and so he arrived on the world. He began to fashion what would become his holy symbol, the Stag, among the first creations of deer, and doe, in furtherance of the divine plan, he would create animals to provide for the savage creatures throughout the world that would make their way to the new continent. The rabbit, the rat, and others would help to feed them without them clawing and tearing eachother apart, but more importantly, creation of the animals would allow for later Humans to eat something other than plants.

Though he continued to see problems throughout the world, it was still a savage, very barbaric world, full of death, despite it's youthfulness. And so, deeming that this world was too dangerous to create Humans yet, Orden, the Blue god would make Humanity something of a nanny, a mentor and gaurdian before they were born, he would craft out of the stones of the rock of this planet, the Kirin, or, as some called them, the Qilin. These would give the appearance of a part Unicorn, part Dragon creature. Kirin were not, in fact, dragons, Orden would not make those yet, but he nonetheless made the Kirin. These magical creatures would be symbols of good fortune and the favor of Orden in later epics. Wielders of immense divine magic, the Kirin were also wise and benevolent, with the natural inclination to be helpful and honorable mentors.

Lastly, as long as there were mortals, Orden knew that a place of reward, peace and love would be needed for those who were good, wise and righteous. A place for the honorable to be honored, for the giving to be given to, and for the wise to reap benefit forevermore. He would create this place, and he would call it, "Paradise". Orden began to sing a beautiful song, of a place where the wise would be honored, and the innocent given wisdom to serve and be served in an afterlife of peace and joy.

He looked out throughout his creations and saw that he was doing well. He would have stopped to pat himself on the back, metaphorically speaking, until he reminded himself that he wasn't done yet. He had to have some way to advance himself, someway for himself to grow stronger so he could make way for the world below to grow into a beautiful paradise in the future. That time was quite a way off, but he would make it so. Nothing could stop him. He began to meditate in the Void he had spawned from, and he emerged wiser than before, he had gained new and powerful knowledge.

It was then that the yelling began.
"PUT THE GREEN STUFF IN THE WATER AND LET IT SIT. LET THE JUICES SEEP IN. DO IT YA LITTLE BEARDED BASTARDS."
She paused and peered between her fingers at the world below, what she saw horrified her. It appeared that her tears were flooding her beautiful land, and the creations within it. A few tears fell from between her fingers before she wiped her eyes. The rain began to slow as she dried her eyes- though the sorrow in her heart kept the rain coming.

"STOP WITH THE BLASTED WATER. YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME BEARD SOGGY, YA BASTARD."

Her eyes widened with shock as one of her creations addressed her – and in a rather loud and disrespectful way. She spoke softly down to the world while wiping her eyes once more with the back of her index finger. “I’m sorry, my dears…”

Her voice, despite how loud it boomed, was still reassuring and soft. “I never meant to cause such turmoil…” she smiled, though the beings on her world could not see it. They only saw the light blue sky and a few fluffy clouds that seemed to glow with each word she spoke. She considered warning her creations of Seraphal’s plans- but something held her back. Perhaps it would be best they did not know. What happiness can you truly have if you live life fearing your demise?

She was unaware of the plague that would soon reach her beautiful lands. “…though, is that how you speak to your creator, Gunthar?” she asked with a soft smile and a chuckle. “I was certain I’d create a being with knowledge of respect.” She playfully teased, though her smile would once again be ripped away from her as her eyes settled on patches of dead grass. ’What’s going on? she thought while peering down and examining the dead grass and flowers…all perfectly in a line. Immediately, she thought of The Pale One. ’Oh please no, she thought as she followed the trail of dead grass, flowers, trees, and even animals. There she saw him, the tall pale man, was now heading toward Gunthar and the dwarves. “Pale One!” she called out from the heavens before dispersing into a cloud of white rose petals which fell down to earth. Once the petals touched the ground, they began to gather and take shape…

    And there, now stood Calista.
“Pale one…” she stared into the fiery red eyes of the man. “…please.” She pleaded while looking over her shoulder at Gunthar, then the dwarves, then finally back to the pale one. “These beings have done no harm… why must you torment them?” her eyes began to well up with tears. “Why must you torment me?” she placed a hand over her heart as tears rolled down her cheek and soaked into the soul…two vibrant colored flowers already began to bloom there.

Gunthar was stopped from his sky-shouting by the appearance of some sort of other deity. He come from no where, and decided he was just going to march in, look him square in the eye and declare that he was going to "reap the dwarves". Now, Gunthar might not have been the brightest shovel in the tool shed that was the universe, but he knew that he couldn't very well ignore this man and hoped he went away. He would need to deal with him directly. Now, he wasn't much of a talker, and he doubted that shouting would get this problem to go away, although it did teach his people and stop the blasted rain. It even made a woman appear. It seemed as though this man was upsetting her, and he could see why. Looking into the distance, he noticed patches of death. Had he sucked the life from the lush greenery that surrounded the mountains? He wanted to do the same to the dwarves. Not only this, but he felted connected to this woman. He didn't pay attention to what she said, but maybe if he had, he'd have understood why. This was unexcusable. He finally choose his plan of action; fisticuffs.

Gunthar let out a mighty battle cry, and charged forward at Seraphal. Bringing his thick arm back, he would attempt to sock the other god in the jaw. It was a bit uncivilized, a god trying to punch another god out, but it was the way things had to be! If he was to keep his pretty little dwarves in one peace, and stop the decaying of the land that he found to be so relaxing, he would need to combat the pale man and do his best to defend it all. If only he could have made a big mountain around Seraphal like he did to the Warborn.

It all happened so fast, Gunthar was already charging at The Pale One ready for a bloody confrontation. That wasn’t what she wanted, no not at all! “Stop!” she cried out, but it was too late- Gunthar’s fist was already growing closer the The Pale One’s jaw. Surely this would end badly, Gunthar may be strong and have a fiery heart like hers- but The Pale One didn’t appear to be one to take lightly. She curled her fingers into the palm of her hand and her brows narrowed as she stared at the two. “Stop this, now!” she demanded while reaching up, plucking a strand of hair from atop her head and throwing it to the ground. She would create a new being…and he would be filled with the strong determination she had to keep this world beautiful and flourishing. “Durat…my Champion…” she called as she watched the hair sink into the earth and felt the vibrations shake the world. “…Lord of Determination and Combat… You shall protect my creations…” she glared over at the trail of dead grass and corpses, her fist tightened and her nails dug into her palm.

Seraphal watched the man with amusement. He was willing to fight to protect his creations. But was he willing to die for them? That was the ultimate question. Plus a god's soul would be a nice trophy, and it would send a message to all of his other siblings and their creations: Death was not to be trifled with.

Gunthar flung his fist towards Seraphal's jaw. He was a mighty man and a god nonetheless, but to Seraphal he was a mere child. A child stomping his feet and throwing a tantrum when he was told to put his toys away. Seraphal would spank this child.

With a flourish of movement, The Pale One side stepped and caught Gunthar's fist. The iciness of his touch would quickly pull the warmth from Gunthar's body, rendering all but the strongest willed unable to fight. The touch of Death was a terrifying thing.

"These beings have done you no harm... why must you torment them?!"

Seraphal's turned his gaze quickly, to meet that of Calista's. "Do you see me as a tormentor?" He said gritting his teeth, gripping Gunthar's fist tighter. "I am only cleaning up the mess you and your creations have made." Seraphal spat as he released Gunthar's fist, turning his back to the two of them.

"Know that death cannot be prolonged. That without it, there is only unrelenting suffering." Seraphal turned his attention to a dwarf, obviously drowned, face down in a puddle.

"This creature should be dead. But instead, he is trapped, suffering without relief." Seraphal reached down and touched the creature on the back of the head. A faint spark of light shot from the dwarf's body into Seraphal's hand.

"This is relief." He smiled. "Without it, Calista, you and all your creations will suffer. That is the truth. That it is."

And with that, Seraphal pulled back the veil, and stepped through. Leaving his sister and her playthings to contemplate their actions.
