You do not know how you have ended up there but somehow you’ve ended up in the dream world, you do not have a single memory, not even the knowledge of your own name remains. But that isn’t the priority upon your arrival, considering you’re in a place that anything can happen you’d best be prepared. You’re granted a name, clothes and some rather magical powers to allow you to better survive this world. But what of your fate in the ‘real’ world? Do you wish to return? Well you’d better try your hardest to collect your lost memories, after all, that is the only clue to your way
home-remembering yourself.
As mentioned in the interest check, this would be a high-fantasy, adventure, episodic role play that is mostly character driven. Also considering the world is endless and will mostly be created as we go there is not too much for me to lie out.
RULES:
No metagaming, godmodding, powerplaying, etcetera.
Three paragraphs.
96-hour/four day rule. If you do not post in the IC/OC within that amount of time and you have not otherwise noted me then we shall continue on without you, considering the type of plot it is it will not be hard.
If you’re busy, no longer interested or something along those lines, just tell me, which will keep everything far more pleasant in the future.

First Arc: Arriving in the Dream World
The first plot will begin with all of you awakening in a large, empty ballroom where you shall be meeting each other after receiving your name and power. You will be given a small amount of time to socialize with the other arrivals before someone will show up and explain the situation to you, answer (most) of your questions, tell you about collecting your memories and send you on your way along with the Dream Realm guide to help keep you out of trouble.

The Gateway or Gateway City, both are used interchangeably, and with good reason. Gateway City is also the only place ‘foreigners’ turn up in, apparently. Perhaps this has to do with the city being a place full of grand trade and colorful little market towns, or perhaps it has to do with something else. Regardless, Gateway City is a place full of year-long markets and people out to make their fortune in the ways of the merchants.
Dream World/Dream Land/Dream Realm can and will be used as synonyms for each other, the last one a slightly different meaning to it but you will discover that during the role play.
People in Dream Land have silver blood, the more you remember of yourself, the redder it becomes.
Everyone can walk on water and in most places defy gravity to a degree (as in jump higher than a normal person in our world); the later does not apply indoors.
Basically there is every race you can possibly imagine that is not typical of 'evil' alignment.

Firstly, you will write out you character sheet, PM it to me and then I shall either accept or decline it. If accepted you will remove anything that is light grey before posting it in the OOC. Secondly, as there are more people in this than I had originally expected, be creative and make your character worth having. Also you are free to double if you so desire it. And lastly, each character will be given 100 Seraphs to spend, just keep that in mind.

Name: Your name in the real world
Re-Name: The name you received in Dream Land, anything goes so long as you can pronounce it and it is not too painful to type or look at. I recommend writing out the pronunciation.
Age: 18+
Race: You are can be anything you'd like in the Dream Realm with the only exception that it has to be humanoid.
Appearance: Pictures inspire imagination, but written descriptions are fine as well.
Human Appearance: What you looked like on earth, feel free to use the same picture if nothing special is going on.
Weapon of choice: Well you can wield anything you want really, but guns aren’t in Dream world, they were too noisy.
Power: One power you were granted upon entering dream world, you can gain other stuff later. You cannot have a power that allows you to control other characters or read minds, the basic.
Personality: Five positive traits, three negative.
Biography: Two paragraphs are all I require but more is always welcomed.
Goals/dreams: Write this twice, once for your character in the real world, and once for you character upon arrival in dream land. Remove the one for the
real world.
Since I'm just starting to get back into RP-ing here (and the RPs I've been attempting to participate in haven't gotten off the ground yet), I don't have a handy sample post to reference, and I'll be looking to cook one up from scratch. How long would you expect it to be? (Alternatively, how long will you read?) I ask just because I don't want to type out 5 pages when all I need is 3 paragraphs, or vice versa. Ballpark is fine, obviously.
EDIT: Also, what's the status of technology here? I see no guns, but aside from that, what level are we at?
You know, I wasn't sure if I'd like this once the OOC up, but RDJ was right. Super amazing.
I plan on playing one character, if not two. If the group for this is small, I have no issue doubling but if this expands into something out of my comfort zone (starts gaining too many remembers for me ), I'll probably only play one character or just pull out entirely. Just a heads up there. At any rate, cool idea. I shall mull over an idea or two and shoot you a PM within 24 hours, depending on OOC activity. A light RP like this could be fun, it's been a while since I've RPed outside of my own projects so I shall see how this goes~

I am glad you like it. Yes I am a little worried about too many people but so far only two have posted anything here, so there may not be quite so many people.
I'd rather have fewer than more-er mostly because it caters to development a bit easier and doesn't tend to exclude someone but that's just me. Hopefully you get the number you're looking for.

I'm working on a charrie sheet. It should be up sometime tomorrow. I had a question though...and I have a feeling there's an obvious answer...but I'm thinking I should ask anyways. On the 'Other' heading...'what is says on the tin'? What's that mean?
