Hi, my name is Jetta and I’m the daughter of Hades. Yeah, I know. “Oooohhhh.” She’s evil and all that stuff. Well, I’m not. My dad is just…misunderstood. I mean, sure, he has no idea how to deal with a teenager, he’s always down in that stupid hole, and he wouldn’t give me a hug if you put a gun to his hea-

Let’s just scratch that part out…

You’re reading this because you’ve been accepted. (Perhaps accepted isn't the best word, more like you're here because the Gods are whores and have been poppin' out babies like there's no tomorrow, and you just happen to be one of them- so we're forcing you to come here because you could be a danger to those around you. Now stop your whinin' and get packed.) In a weeks time you’ll be flown out here to little old Thebe, Greece and begin your time here. You'll be attending classes every day in all the basic curriculum; math, Greek, science and magic, as well as ancient history. There's a mess hall for when you get hungry, and it's open 24 hours a day for our, erm, meatier students.

Every other day you'll have psychical classes where we’ll teach you everything you need to know: archery, swordplay, hand to hand combat, and how to control your unique powers. Every descendant gets different powers, e.g. I can bend shadows. Sorta. It all depends on who your daddy (or mommy) is.

Once you haul your lazy bum all the way out here, you'll get to stay with little ol' me in the cabins. There's one assigned for each God and you'll be staying with your newly found brothers and sisters- not that it's guaranteed you'll like all of them. Luckily for me, I'm all alone at the moment. (Sob, sob. So alone.) What? You don’t know who your own father is? Well, you fail. Here, this should help. By the way, if you think your daddy is Hades or Zeus, or your mommy might be Hera, you should bloody tell me! ‘Cuz I got a lighting bolt to the ass last time…

Zeus: The supreme ruler of the gods, the lord of the sky, and the rain god. His weapon is a thunderbolt which he hurls at those who displease him. He is married to Hera but, is famous for his many affairs. (As Hera would say- “The whore!”) He is also known to punish those that lie or break oaths.

(That sound like you? No? Well, crap. Hold on.)

Hera: Hera is Zeus' wife and sister. She is the protector of marriage and takes special care of married women. She often against Zeus's plans and she is usually able to outwit him.

Poseidon: He is the brother of Zeus and lord of the sea, as well as married to Amphitrite. He has a difficult, quarrelsome personality. (Yeah, that explains a lot.)

Hades: (Hi, dad!) He is the lord of the underworld. He is also the god of wealth, due to the precious metals mined from the earth. He rarely leaves the underworld. (I would know, its hell getting him out here for a school play...) He is the King of the dead but, death itself is another god.

Hestia: She is Zeus' sister. She is a virgin goddess and she does not have a distinct personality. She is the Goddess of the Hearth.

Ares: Ares is the son of Zeus and Hera. He was disliked by both parents because he is the god of war and incredibly violent. He is considered murderous and bloodstained but, also a coward.

Athena: Athena is the daughter of Zeus. She sprang full grown in armor from his forehead, thus has no mother. She is fierce and brave in battle and is the embodiment of wisdom, reason, and purity.

Artemis: Artemis is the daughter of Zeus and Leto. Her twin brother is Apollo. She is the lady of the wild things and the huntsman of the gods. She is known to be the loving the protector of the young. Like Apollo she hunts with silver arrows and somehow became associated with the moon. She is a virgin goddess, and the goddess of chastity.

Apollo: Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is Artemis. He is the god of music- playing a golden lyre, the archer- far shooting with a silver bow, the god of healing- who taught man medicine, the god of light, and the god of truth- who can not speak a lie. One of Apollo's more important daily tasks is to harness his chariot with four horses and drive the Sun across the sky.

Aphrodite: Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire and beauty. (Her kids are usually stuck up little twats. Sound like you?) One says she is the daughter of Zeus and Dione. She is the wife of Hephaestus.

Hephaestus: Hephaestus is the son of Zeus and Hera. He is the only god to be physically ugly. He is also lame. (No, not like that. He’s handicapped.) He is the god of fire and the forge. He is the smith of the gods. He is kind and peace loving. His wife is Aphrodite.

Hermes: Hermes is the son of Zeus and Maia. He is Zeus' messenger. He is the fastest of the gods. He is the god of thieves and god of commerce. He is the guide for the dead to go to the underworld.

Dionysus: Dionysus is the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, of ritual madness and ecstasy. He is known to be drunkard and a pervert, as well as quite the whore. He enjoys anything considered sinful, and indulges in most anything he can get his greasy little hands on.

Well, I hope that helped. Annnnnyway. You’ll be sent on missions to purify or capture demons, escort the gods or important people, or maybe just to check in on certain spots. You'll have to travel all over to world, and train as hard as you can to be ready for anything. You’ll met new friends, teachers, and if your lucky- your parent. But you'll have to be careful. Evil and treachery lurk around every corner, and those you think you may know can turn out to be someone else entirely. Rumors have been whispered between the trees, the Gods lock themselves in Olympus and murmur quietly to each other, and the wood nymphs stir from their peaceful slumber- something is lurking in the shadows. Something that the Gods have never seen before, something that is solely up to you to stop.

Discord between the gods has existed for thousands of years and usually ended in brooding and underhanded insults, but this time, this fight is different. A squabble between Hephaestus and Ares arose and turned the world of the mighty Greek gods upside down. Ares, being the favorite of Zeus and devilishly handsome, unlike the crippled and hideous Hephaestus, was let go free of punishment and his behavior chalked up to his violent nature as the God of war. Hephaestus, however, was another story. He was banished from Olympus to the island of Kieros and sentenced to live out his days surrounded by the screeching of the horrid harpies that inhabit the island. Hephaestus was smarter than that, though. He tunneled far into the ground and made himself at home with the molten lava and blistering heat. There, he forged mighty weapons he plans to unleash on the unsuspecting gods and all of their sons, obliterating the Greek god bloodline forever. But he could not do it alone, no he needs an army. The god of fire and forging is recruiting every demigod, wood nymph, and harpy he can get his hands to create the terrifying force he needs to topple Olympus. Deep in the layers of the earth, hammers ring and foul demons screech their ferocious cries. A darkness is coming, one that the world has never seen the likes of before.
Innocent people are disappearing and the camp counselors are beginning to worry. The older students are being sent out on patrols of the perimeter each night to ensure the safety of the new, younger campers. The teachers at Zeus’s School are speeding up the training and lessening the amount of curriculum they teach. Soon, there will be war.

Jetta Monroe
Age: 18

Appearance:

Jetta has the unique genetic mutation called Alexandria’s Genisis, which causes her to have deep purple eyes- as if she wasn’t already odd enough. The rest of her person she tries to keep at least somewhat normal. Long raven locks flow down to her shoulder blades and rest just above the middle of her back, and even bangs frame her face. She has long eyelashes that brush her cheekbones when she peers downward, and in between her two almond shaped eyes are two glinting, piercings in the shape of a ball. They jut out from the bridge of her nose, and match the silver balls of the bull ring that rests inside the cartilage of her nose. Her lips are full and free of piercings and match the rosy color that rests permanently on her cheeks.

Jetta prefers to wear dark colored clothes, and much like a vampire, avoid the sunlight. Sunglasses are ever present on her face when she is forced to go outside, and he hood usually pulled to cover her rather distracting features. She is a slight little thing, barely reaching 5’5” and just touching 100 pounds. If one were to see her from across the street, they would most likely mistake her for a shadow.

Parent of Godly-ness: Hades

A Lil' History: Jetta grew up in the care of her loving but not all together there mother. Although most humans who have an affair with a god don’t remember the time, or don’t suffer because of it, her mother slowly unraveled before Jetta’s eyes. She had functioned under the delusion that Hades was going to take her to the underworld and stay with her and turned a blind eye to the stories she heard of his promiscuity and general apathy towards the feelings of measly humans, so she was crushed when he left her pregnant and alone. From the day she was born, Jetta was (rather ironically) the light of her mother’s life. She spoiled her as much as humanly possible and kept her safe from all harm. But as Jetta aged, she began to notice oddities about her mother. She would often talk to herself, or other people who weren’t there. People stared when they walked down the street, and after a few years it became hard for Jetta’s mother to look her in the eyes. As if she was some sort of bad memory.

When she turned 16, Jetta watched as her mother was admitted into a mental hospital and diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Her mother had lost all touch with the real world, and had stopped eating and connecting with those around her. But, in a moment of clarity as they carted her away, Jetta’s mother whispered a hurried secret in her ear, one that Jetta would dismiss as a delusion and try to carry on with her life without recalling. However, fate had another plan for the young girl and on a normal school a month or two later, Jetta found herself surrounded by three snarling dogs black as night and almost bigger than she was. Just as they lunged for her throat, a young boy full of smiles with blonde hair the color of gold jumped in front of her and easily killed the vicious animals. It was that day that Jetta would disappear from her old life and begin a new one at Zeus’s School For DemiGods, as well as begin to wonder what else her mother had been right about.

Personality: Jetta is a rather anti-social person, but not to the point that she will turn away someone who tries to talk to her. She prefers sitting a dark corner of her empty cabin and reading a book rather than horsing around with her fellow demigods. She an extremely intelligent person, so much so that she can’t tolerate anyone remotely stupid and enjoys engaging in conversations or debates about things she interested in. She is by no way a calm person, and easily bated into anger.

Although she does love her friends, and has quite a few, she tends to feel lonely more often than not. Maybe it’s the other cabins filled with smiling friends and brothers and sisters, so boisterous and charming compared to her deserted one, or maybe it’s the fact that most new people begin to fear her once they find out who her father is. If there is one thing Jetta hates, it is people who judge her on how she looks and who her parents are, rather than who she herself is.

The young Hades descendant is quite the trouble maker, true to her nature, if you ask any of the councilors or teachers of the camp. She tends to get into heated prank wars with her fellow classmates and most of them end badly, like the one she had with an Ares kid that ended with him calling her a “little shit” and her bowing up his bathroom. Obviously, he had needed to see what shit looked like. Nevertheless, she’s a good student with a knack for quick learning, despite her disposition for trouble.

The Poseidon Cabin:

Bio:

Aurora is a 16 year old girl who has no home, her parents died when she was too young to remember. As an orphan she was both, encaged in a parentless existence and she had the freedom to do whatever she wanted. From infancy through about 10 years of age, Aurora stayed near the Ocean. Her father, Poseidon, meet’s her each year, for her birthday. For her first 6 years of life, she lived from foster home to foster home. She was given a pearl beaded necklace, by Poseidon, to keep in contact and allow her to speak directly to Poseidon himself. The necklace was created to disintegrate into dust when Aurora turned 12. Due to the powers of the necklace, Aurora never felt completely abandoned. Poseidon told Aurora, the ocean was her home, whenever she felt in-danger “head towards the ocean, you will be safe here.” Aurora had a foster family, which cared for her. But she left them when she turned eight. She desired a stronger connection to her real father.

The first time she entered water she was able to swim. Her body felt as though she was on a permanent adrenaline high, her blood was pumping much more vigorously than normal, but her mind was completely calm and focused. She spoke to her father on a number of occasions; trying to understand her connection to him (as much as an eight to nine year old could understand).

Poseidon told her stories of himself and some of his children. Aurora learned of Percy Jackson, Cyclopes (including Tyson), Triton, Theseus, and Polyphemus. Polyphemus guarded the fabled Golden Fleece, which now resides in Camp Half-Blood, just past Half-Blood hill, protecting its borders. Theseus attempted to protect Half-Blood’s being sacrificed to King Menos. Triton, a lesser God with similar powers to Poseidon, is the heir to his throne. Tyson was a friend of Percy Jackson, one of Poseidon’s most known children, and he (Tyson) was a Master Blacksmith. Briares, a Hecatonchires or ”Hundred Handed One’s”has continued to teach the Cyclops and children of Hephaestus & Athena ancient method’s of blacksmithing and craftsmanship long forgotten. These stories only bring Aurora closer to Poseidon, increasing her thirst to know more.

Through the age of 10, Aurora learned to manipulate water to her will, and has learned to control some weather changes, mainly creating fog and moderately changing the temperature around her. She is virtually impervious to injury while in contact with water. She has the ability to call forth the powers of the ocean, though the extent of her individual oceanic prowess has not been completely tested. The more powerful or encompassing her summoning the greater the risk on her life it evokes. Aurora is able to speak to all oceanic kind, and has a strong pact with most. The only land animals she can communicate with are horse-kind, as Poseidon is the creator of horses.

Prior to Aurora’s 12th birthday, Poseidon told her about the importance of Half-Blood hill, while there he would officially ‘claim’ her as a daughter of Poseidon. She became anxious and a bit confused on why she must go to Camp Half-Blood, opposed to being granted access to Poseidon’s Castle under the ocean. She heard stories of Briares and Tyson, and desired to meet them immediately .

When Aurora was 12, as predetermined the pearl necklace disintegrated. Aurora was worried she would never have a connection with her father so she kept the ashes of her necklace in a small leather bag, whenever she felt alone she could always pull it out and feel close to her father. The disintegrated necklace smelled strongly of the ocean, it looked like regular beach-sand, but it gave off an aura that made her feel close to Poseidon. Nevertheless fear over came her. She was now alone, and thrown into the ‘wild’. She felt abandoned and wanted to experience the ocean and life as much as possible. She stayed near the ocean for the next two years, finding comfort in it. Slowly she began to desire absolute excitement, like an adrenaline junkie; she clung to life as best she could. Hang Gliding, Bungee Jumping, and Ice Climbing were the beginning of her adventures. She tried to stay near water as much as possible, just in case. Hang Gliding over the ocean, Bungee Jumping over rivers, and Ice Climbing (Ice being water) all gave her ease of mind.

As she became older she began experiencing even more dangerous sports. When she turned 16 she went as far as Australia to a mountain area, known for dangerous rock faces and cliffs. She found a guide to find some of the most dangerous rock faces in all of Australia. The guide told Aurora that very few people tried the cliff of Kurndi, a cliff face that six people have died on that year and if she died she would make seven, his attempt at humor to lighten the mood. He noticed that Aurora had a very serious face and looked perhaps too serious. As he attempted to give her the safety harness and equipment she turned it down and told him that she was interested in free solo climbing. The guide looked dumbfounded and asked if she was certain she knew what she was doing. Aurora ignored the guide completely and walked through the narrow passageway to reach the beginning of the cliff face. Aurora stopped at the base and closed her eyes. Her eyes remained closed for a few moments, as though staring though oblivion, imagining the excitement-to-be. Slowly she began to grin in absolute euphoria. A dry dreadful heat was beating down on her face. She began sweating as she climbed. She was now about 500 feet in the air. As she looked down, everything was starting to appear small and insignificant. She found a small opening in the cliff face. She decided to take a short break. She was again absorbing the excitement of the ‘adventure.’ The wind started to blow and she continued to climb; she grabbed the rock-face more aggressively. Aurora was now more exited than ever. She climbed faster and faster. The faster she climbed the harder the wind seemed to blow. Aurora started to notice the wind seemed abnormally powerful, almost too powerful. She continued to climb now over 3000 feet up in the cliff side, she was about halfway up. All of a sudden a gust of wind kicked one of her hands loose and she swung out and was holding on only by her left hand. A small tweak of doubt crossed her mind, regardless she decided to keep climbing. Wind kept picking up. It began to rain little by little; she grew strength from the water and began to climb faster and faster. She was now jumping from rock fixture to rock fixture. She was now over 4000 feet up, the wind began to pick up even more, and the rain came down faster and faster. She could now see the top; it looked like there was about 500 feet to go. A huge cold front came over and the temperature plummeted. The cliff face started to freeze over. Anyone but a child of Poseidon would have fallen off by now. Amazingly she had enough control over the water that she was able to keep climbing. She climbed faster and faster. Wind picked up more and more, slowly she began to loose grip. Somehow she couldn’t control the water well enough and she became somewhat apprehensive. She was completely empowered by the rain but it didn’t seem to be helping as she was finally growing tired, the strong winds were draining her. Winds were moving over 50 miles per hour; they slowly started to overpower her. She slipped and fell, plunging towards the rocks below with her last bit of strength she attempted to brace her fall by summoning a gush of water below. *Smack* It seem to work or else she was dead. Aurora seemed to be able to brace her fall, or though she suspected. Warmth traveled down her back. Before she knew what happened she lost consciousness, due to her being so exhausted she was unable to quickly heal even though she was in contact with water.

She woke up and was surrounded by Oceanids and Mermaids. Somehow she was alive. Aurora was approached by Amphitrite. Amphitrite told Aurora how Poseidon had been worried about her dangerous lifestyle, and how Amphitrite took it into her own hands to respect his children, if it was in her best interest. “In an attempt to save you from yourself, I had to bring you here.”

Aurora replied, “You almost KILLED ME!”

“You are lucky I stepped in at all, I could have let you keep to your self-destructive path and you would have eventually become so overzealous you would have killed yourself,” she retorted back. “I don’t have time to play word games with you or tell you how much your father actually cares for you, but realize this you are not yet mentally prepared for what lies ahead.” And in that same instance Amphitrite disappeared and Aurora appeared on the beach, the same beach that her necklace disintegrated on.

Aurora immediately became furious at how she was being treated, LIKE A CHILD. Thinking to herself, “I am sixteen now! Why am I being treated like a baby, I have been on my own forever!”

Furious, she takes a long needed swim in the ocean; one of the few things that allow her to relax. Two weeks later, Aurora decides to head-out looking for “Camp Half-Blood” in search for answers. She knows that Half-Blood Hill is a place where many other half-bloods like herself reside, perhaps she can find comfort with them, like her father told her over four years ago. She only knew that Camp Half-Blood was in Long Island, New York. Since she was currently around Australia, she decided to take the water to the West Coast. She hitched rides from sea creature to sea creature, occasionally from whales and dolphins, but primarily from a few Hippocampi. She arrives in the night, on a beach in southern California.

Aurora was completely revitalized by the ocean; she begins her travel across America. Out of nowhere large bright illustrious white birds, perhaps eagles dive out of the sky. Aurora looks again, and it appears larger than an eagle, it has hooves and a tail, but still has wings. Immediately she hears a voice, confused she realizes she can hear it’s the thoughts. It is a horse of some kind, reason being why she can speak and understand it. A horse with wings, it must be a Pegasus! Aurora hops on his back and they begin to soar through the air. They traveled faster and faster, higher and higher, they were above the clouds and moving faster than a plane. The faster they went, the closer and tighter Aurora stayed to the Pegasus, increasing their aerodynamics and ensuring she isn’t blown off the Pegasus’s back. They crossed, Nevada, then Utah, and entered Colorado, taking a break. The Pegasus was starting to tire, and so they decided to rest. They camped next to a river, due to the comfort this gave Aurora. The sky was Zeus’s Domain. She remembered stories about how Feuding Gods often transferred to danger for their children. Since the Gods fought together against the Titans, most of the feuding and bickering has ceased. This made it far safer for Demigod’s to travel wherever they needed, as long as it wasn’t blatantly disrespectful to that god’s realm, though the underworld may still be off limits, hmm.

Throughout the night she woke up in a sweat due to a dream of a girl trapped in ice. She felt a magnetic pull to discover why she was having these dreams. She knew exactly what the girl looked like and from the dream she knew where it was located. The girl had blue eye’s, she was wearing a blue tank-top, brown cargo shorts. Aurora could feel she was powerful. Her curiosity helped in spurring her interest in finding this girl. She was near a stream, so Aurora could pinpoint her exact location, even without the dream. She told the Pegasus to come back this evening, as she would have a guest.

Immediately, she began to have that thirst for excitement. She needed to find this mystery girl in ice. She followed the stream. The forest became darker and darker, until she could barely see in front of her own face. Without sight, there was no way to know what was in front of her. She stayed within the confines of the water for protection, just as her father told her. Slowly a glow peaked across the forest. There was a light glow of yellow and blue intertwined. Sheer mystery lied before her. The water gave her great speed and she was moving much faster than any animal she knew. The excitement was building up inside of her, as she closed in on the source of the light, she began to slow down. Aurora was now grinning with absolute euphoria. She could not contain herself, the intensity of her stare was downright blood thirsty, and one would have thought she was a daughter of Ares in the midst of battle. Aurora approached and entered the meadow, and looked around just outside of the water. She realized she was out of the water and realized, the girl must be submerged. She dives into the water, and sees a massive glacier-like containment. Aurora closes her eyes, water begins to twist and rush all around her, quickly she opens her eyes placing her right hand on the ice, and it shatters. The girl is completely limp sinking deeper and deeper, not moving anywhere but down. “She must be unconscious,” Aurora thought to herself. She rushed to her aid, as fast as she could, and leapt out of the water with the girl. She appeared to be unconscious or dead. Emotions started to bubble inside of Aurora, confusion and frustration began to overcome her. Why was she dead if I was supposed to come save her?! The forest began to darken, Aurora became confused and angry. The forest floor began to slowly freeze, killing everything in its wake. Her eyes began to tear as rage overcame her; absolute confusion was interfering with her natural judgment. In a flash two arrows soared past her, one blue and one orange. Both cracked through the ice. A warm glow came out of the arrows as they struck the ground. The ice slowly melted, starting from where the arrows made contact. The forest began to light up as if being healed from underneath the ice. The ice completely melted away, and Aurora realized the girl was opening her eyes. Aurora now completely exhausted realized there was a note on each of the arrows.

Take these fruits, they will quickly nurse Evelyn back to acceptable health, but she still needs time to rest her mind, time you do not currently have.
Apollo

As the notes told her, she gave the fruits to Evelyn and color re-entered her face. She looked exhausted, but now was able to stand. Aurora gave her the last bits of fruit and in minutes she looked almost perfect. Evelyn looked at Aurora in suspicion. Before either of them was able to speak, they both realized the ground was shaking. Something approached something large and dangerous. Bolting down were two harpy. They appeared half-woman and half-bird. The body appeared almost completely human except, instead of arms were wings, from the knee’s down were legs covered in feathers, and talons for feet. They moved quickly both on the ground and aerially. Aurora was still exhausted from releasing Evelyn from her prison and her temper tantrum. Quickly Evelyn surveyed the area, in an effort to view her options. She ran and grabbed Aurora, noticing she was in to way ready to protect herself, she was worn out. Quickly Evelyn moves Aurora next to the water. The harpy dive bombed past both of them. Knocked Aurora into the water and Evelyn into a tree. Aurora begins to move around, she begins to look around to see what happen. She notices dead patches of forestation and realized what she did. While Aurora was in self denial, Evelyn was busy with the two harpies. Evelyn sensed her surroundings and took in the essence of the forest and she began to run around. She is more agile and about as fast as the harpies, but doesn’t have the ability to fly. She must utilize her ability in stealth and weaponry. Evelyn pulled out her small curved dagger. She lunges and misses the Harpy completely. Both harpies dive towards her, she reaches out with her blade nearly hitting one of the harpy’s wings. Unable to reach the harpies with her dagger, she thinks about her bow, and it appeared in her hand. A quiver appears on her back and she pulls an arrow out, knocks it, and prepares to fire. She darts past the harpy, both moving in opposite directions. The harpy looses track of Evelyn. She runs about 30 yards into the forest. The harpy’s lower their guard, thinking she left. The harpy’s begin to turn their focus to Aurora. The moment they turned away and arrow pierced right into one of the harpies, right into its chest. The second harpy staggers backwards, looking for where the arrow came from. Before the second harpy is able to react, a second arrow flies towards it piercing its skull. It disintegrates, as Aurora emerges from the water. Aurora now appears to be completely revitalized. Heavy footsteps still seem to be approaching.

“What else could be after us,” Aurora wonders.

In a flash two pegasi, swooped out of the sky. Without the need for convincing both Aurora and Evelyn mounted. They crossed Kansas and Missouri before either of them spoke.

They thanked each other for their help, Aurora to Evelyn for rescuing her from her ice prison, and Evelyn to Aurora for protection from the harpies.

6 hours later, they arrive in New York hoping for a sign… Two powerful Half-Bloods should draw quite a bit of attention, though they don’t really desire any since their last encounter with the two harpies.

Aurora is a 16 year old girl orphan, unless you consider the ocean a “home.” Her alleged parents died when she was too young to remember and has been home hopping ever since (Foster home to foster home). She has always found comfort in being near water, primarily the ocean as it as a near limitless supply of water.

Her father, Poseidon, meet’s her each year, for her birthday. Poseidon gave her a pearl beaded necklace, created to disentigrate when she turned 12, which allowed her to keep in contact and allow her to speak directly to him, if necessary. Poseidon told Aurora, the ocean was her home, whenever she felt in-danger “head towards the ocean, you will be safe here.”

Through the age of 10, Aurora learned to manipulate water to her will, and has learned to control some weather changes, mainly creating fog and moderately changing the temperature around her. She is virtually impervious to injury while in contact with water. The more powerful or encompassing her summoning the greater the risk on her life it evokes. Aurora is able to speak to all oceanic kind, and has a strong pact with most. She can speak to horse-kind because of her father Poseidon being the creator of horses.

Poseidon told Aurora about Half-Blood hill, where he would officially claim her as “a daughter of Poseidon”. She became anxious and a bit confused on why she must go to Camp Half-Blood, opposed to being granted access to Poseidon’s Castle under the ocean.

When her necklace disentigrated, she kept it in hope that it would keep a pseudo-connection with her father. She became extremely ‘adventurous’, an attempt to compensate for a lack of parental figures.

As she became older she began experiencing even more dangerous sports. When she turned 16 she went to Australia for more ‘adventures.’ She found the cliff of Kurndi, a particularly dangerous cliff. She began to free-solo climb (without safety equipment). When she was over 4000 feet up, the wind started to blow unnaturally strong. It began raining and eventually started to ice over. She was exhausted and lost grip, plummeting to the ground. The only thing that saved her was a last attempt at calling forth water from the bottom of the cliff-face, as it overlooked the Oceanside.

She woke up and was surrounded by Oceanids and Mermaids. Aurora was approached by Amphitrite, mostly to protect a child of Poseidon (Amphitrite’s Husband). She decided to try and find Camp Half-Blood. Knowing only that it was in New York didn’t help too much. She traveled the ocean by hippocampi and the sky by Pegasi. She was currently in Southern California, and so she headed east.

She dreamed of a girl when she took a break over Colorado; the girl was trapped in ice. She walked through a dark forest to find her. She was underwater frozen in a stream in a meadow. She released the girl from her ice prison. She would not rouse. Aurora grew angry and she started freezing the earth around me. Confusion filled her mind with chaos. In a flash two arrows soared past her, one blue and one orange. Both cracked through the ice. A warm glow came out of the arrows as they struck the ground. The ice slowly melted, starting from where the arrows made contact. Each arrow had a message.

Note on the blue arrow: Take my Daughter, Evelyn, with you. Take her to Camp Half-Blood. Artemis.

Note on the orange arrow: Take these fruits, they will quickly nurse Evelyn back to acceptable health, but she still needs time to rest her mind, time you do not currently have. Apollo

Aurora was now exhausted due to her overusing her powers, and she fed Evelyn fruit prepared by Apollo. A battle took place between Aurora and Evelyn versus two Harpies. Evelyn was now well enough to defend herself.

A battle ensues. Quickly Evelyn moves Aurora next to the water. The harpy dives and whizzes past Evelyn. Evelyn pulled out her small curved dagger. She lunges a few times, missing every time as the harpies were too agile in flight. She was forced to conceal herself to attack. While in hiding she will’s her bow out, knocks an arrow and shoots on harpy in the chest. Dust. The second harpy staggers backwards, looking for where the arrow came from. Before the second harpy is able to react, a second arrow flies towards it piercing its skull. It disintegrates, as Aurora emerges from the water.

Appearance:

Cody’s eyes are two different colors, one from each of his parents. His left eye is the exact shade of his father’s, a gray that deepens to blue at the edges. His right eye is a shade of amber that darkens to a light red near the pupil, some have described that eye as looking as if it were aflame.

Cody is by no means ashamed of his parentage but he uses his longer bangs to hide his right eye to avoid drawing attention to it. His hair is thick but not long, it is various shades of dirty blonde, ranging from almost brown to artificially highlighted streaks of blonde. Cody stands at a rather short 5’5 but he isn’t self conscious about it. His body type is slim with only lean muscle, though there is plenty of it spread throughout rather than concentrated in one area or another.

Cody prefers rich colors that aren’t vibrant, namely red, orange and goldenrod. He is almost always wearing jeans except on the hottest of summer days when he switches to plaid shorts of various colors and patterns. He wears a brown leather belt with “Gay Pride” branded into it in several places and a simple, non-flashy, rainbow flag buckle. As far as shirts go, Cody prefers T-shirts with a light jacket (usually a zippered hoody) or a long sleeved button up with the sleeves rolled up over a white undershirt.

Cody cares about his appearance and is willing to take the extra fifteen minutes to make sure he looks good (though not enough to take much more time than that). He usually combs his hair just enough to make it not look like he slept on it while still letting it do its own thing. He prefers a cleanly appearance and as such shaves his face often.

A Lil' History: Cody grew up in a small town in Michigan with his father. He was a rarity among demigods in that his divine parent was actually a major part of his life. Hestia visited for all of his birthdays and most of the major holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving etc.). Every summer he would spend several weeks traveling the country with her. He was told about his heritage when he turned 13 and his powers began to manifest. They started simply, he didn’t get cold in the winter and began to take an interest in cooking. He wasn’t consciously aware of his powers until about halfway through his eighth grade year. A bully was picking on one of his friends and as he tried to get involved the bully punched his friend hard enough in the gut to make him collapse. Cody was overcome with an anger that didn’t feel like him and the pencil he was holding burst into flames. The bully ran off and Cody collapsed and woke up the next day feeling sick. That summer, after traveling with his mother and explaining the situation to her, Cody traveled to the School and vowed to get a handle on his situation.

Personality: Cody is above all a people person, he makes friends easily but is still able to give them all his personal attention. He is very protective of his friends and stands up for them even when it puts himself in danger. He is loyal and forgives faults easily if he believes the apology to be sincere. One of his character flaws is that he trusts too much, another being that he tends to doubt his own abilities. Cody absolutely hates bullies but he usually avoids physical altercations unless absolutely necessary.

Special Powers You've Discovered?: When he is feeling particularly angry/protective he tends to heat up whatever he’s holding until it bursts into flames. He is also a very good cook and is able to instinctively know how to make recipes better. Doesn’t get cold except in close to blizzard weather.

A Lil' History: Born originally in São Paolo, Brazil, his mother, single, moved to New York when he was around three years old. He, of course, doesn't remember the move, but is extremely proud of his Brazilian heritage, and insists on speaking Portuguese at home, determined never to be considered a 'gringo' if he ever returned. He adapted well, and went to school, and got good grades. Well, good enough to pass by unnoticed.

He knew that there was something odd about him. He excelled at math more than any other subject, to the point of being what they called a geek. Or would have, if he hadn't adopted some other...hobbies.

Stealing was in his blood. He had a light touch, quick hands, and, if he was ever noticed, even quicker feet. He had an ease of adapting to whatever landscape he was on, and could easily vault fences, cars, and dodge with an amazing speed. His mother never heard about his escapades, as he was never caught, but he had that odd feeling that she knew more than she let on. But, on good days, anyway, he just assumed that it was a feeling, and ignored it.

Yeah. Easier said than done.

He was approached by a man, about six months back. Well, more like he tried to pick that man's pocket, and suddenly discovered his hands to be locked in his intended victim's vice-like grip. After an unsuccessful escape attempt by Marcos, the man said that he wouldn't press charges, if the youth started going to this school. Marcos scoffed him, saying that such a thing would never get past his mother. The man disagreed, and they both went back home. To Marcos' surprise, his mother paled at the sight of the man, and agreed. So, Marcos decided this guy couldn't be all bad.

Personality: Cocky, sociable, and likeable. Is smarter than he looks, and tends to spring that on people. Witty, fast with words as he is with his feet, if he can't relieve you of you cash by stealing, he can by conning you. He's a great guy, isn't he?

A Lil' History: Born on Lesbo Δήμος Λέσβου Tiana was marked by strange events from the beginning.
Her father a fisherman was the strange sort preferring to live in an isolated house and even fish by himself.
Tiana's father Stravoros was a fatalist and because of this a very stoic man who accepted the good with the bad without complaint or rejoicing.
He had been to war under the U.N. forces in Kosovo where he saw everyone he knew killed around him without mercy or chance of rescue.
Stravoros was not moved to panic or crying out for mercy, he instead accepted his fate has had all the man and his family before.
Little did he know that it was ERIS, the goddess who calls forth war and discord who had done this. She who is the friend and sister of Ares, and with him she delights in the tumult of war, increasing the moaning of men. She is insatiable in her desire for bloodshed, and after all the other gods have withdrawn from the battle-field, she still remains rejoicing over the havoc that had been made.
She spotted Stravoros sitting among is fallen men as if he sat on a pier watching a calm sea and found that she desired this man.
Her relationship with him was fast furious and set among many calamities such as quakes, tidal waves and violence.
One day after he'd come to realize Eris had deserted him Stravoros was in his house when her heard over the sound of a raging storm a baby's cry. Going to the door he discovered in a basket rapped in swaddling clothes a golden apple atop a small girl child with blood red hair, he knew in an instant this was his daughter.
Stravoros named her Tiana which in Greek means princess but soon he noticed that she had a strange gift of luck that surrounded her.
When Tiana attended school the other students noticed her strange luck as we so they named her Γρουσουζιά which means jinx so she had few friends.
None of these things bothered Jinx as she like her father was a Fatalist and knew that her fate was written like everyone Else's.

Personality: Jinx while a Fatalist is usually a happy girl who loves a good joke.
Her beliefs center on Discordianism ”question everything; think for yourself” is her creed.
Most often a friendly person when roused to anger Jinx is like her mother a very warlike being who once in motion revels in conflict.

With the lighter hair of her mother and the menacing look of her father, Cyril is a mixture of scary and scarier. Her thin, dark brown hair stretches halfway down her back, highlighted with lighter shades of the same silky brown, framing her small, angular face almost perfectly as her glowing silver eyes look out at you in a dark glare. Her body is small and appears almost frail with a small chest, leanly muscled arms, and a long torso met with longer legs. At nineteen, the girl stands nearly 6' tall, her body adorned with gothic style clothing to hide the curse passed from her father to her. Over the black netted clothing is her father's old duster, shaded the same dark, worn black. And over her body - it tends to change places - is a small dragon tattoo.

She wears the symbol of her father and Pantheon around her neck:

A Lil' History

Though the exact date of her birth is unknown, Cyril was born of a strange couple. The Atlantians disappeared from earth around 11,000 B.C. destroyed by Apollymi, the Great Destroyer and queen of the Atlantian Gods when she was loosened upon her son's death. All gods of the Atlantian Parthenon were killed by her, and only she and Apostolos, her son, who rose from the Greek's Underworld, remained. Apostolos rules what is left of the Atlantians, thus he is not known by humans. But all of the Greek Gods know and fear him, as his half sisters are the Three Fates, he, himself, being the Final Fate. Soteria was created from her mortal form by Apollymi to protect Apostolos from Artemis, his very "secret" ex-lover, who he must feed from to remain powerful. Upon Soteria's recreation, she was able to break the bond between Artemis and Apostolos forever, creating instead, a bond between God and Guardian.
When Cyril was born, she was neither god nor demigod. She was something else entirely...simply a tear in the vision of the Fates. Unlike her father, she could not control the world with what she said. But none could see or control her fate. She was an absense...a shadow none could catch. A breed of new god.
Her half sister, Katra Argrotera, fortunately lives as a kori to her grandmother where she resides. Because of this, Katra is trapped Kalosis, where Cyril is forbidden to go out of fear that she would release her grandmother, and thus, her wrath upon the world as the Great Destroyer would end all life. Her other, adopted sister, Xiamara, is still young for a Charanette Demon, though being older than Apostolos in true years. Xiamara, or Simi, is Cyril's closest friend and the only creature that can make the girl smile. When not with Acheron, Simi resides on Cyril as a little dragon tattoo or out in the open in her punk-like human form.
Cyril, herself, has always been an odd one. Curious about the world, she would often sneak out and explore the areas forbidden to her by her father and mother. This would many times get her into a lot of trouble, but she never much cared, as she was just as powerful as her parents. But as she had the same curse her father had (any human after puberty wants to fuck her), she oftentimes tried to hide herself beneath sunglasses, died hair, and the giant duster.
After a while, she grew a hate for Artemis that stretched beyond her father's. Upon turning fifteen, Cyril wandered to Greece, tripping into a temple for the "Virgin Goddess," which caught the eye of the forever-bored twin of Appollo. Appearing before Cyril, flaming red hair swept back, velumptuous body clothed in an all-white suit, she stared the girl down, sniffing the air. "You are of Acheron," she said with a malicious smile. Before Cyril could react, the goddess attacked her, and she had to fight her way through three dimensions, including a fight lasting three hours in Artemis' Pantheon. After that, Cyril stayed far from Greece and far from Artemis.
Unfortunately, Soteria knew not of the little scuttle between her and Artemis, and Cyril was recently enrolled in a strange school. "Go check it out...at the least, it will keep you from being bored. You can even take Simi with you!" So once she was accepted, Cyril went packing, appearing before her parents only in great times of need. However, because of her usual solitary attitude, she has no true friends. She is one that will pop in to help out before quickly disappearing.

Personality

Cyril is a dark creature...one of mystery. She often has a stride that would remind one of a cat, as she stalks the shadows with a vengeance. She is silent, talks little to all, and has a bit of a temper. But of course, as she is a creature that is not of god and not of human, she is confused and lost...and probably will be her entire life...

Jetta Monroe

Appearance:

Jetta has the unique genetic mutation called Alexandria’s Genisis, which causes her to have deep purple eyes- as if she wasn’t already odd enough. The rest of her person she tries to keep at least somewhat normal. Long raven locks flow down to her shoulder blades and rest just above the middle of her back, and even bangs frame her face. She has long eyelashes that brush her cheekbones when she peers downward, and in between her two almond shaped eyes are two glinting, piercings in the shape of a ball. They jut out from the bridge of her nose, and match the silver balls of the bull ring that rests inside the cartilage of her nose. Her lips are full and free of piercings and match the rosy color that rests permanently on her cheeks.

Jetta prefers to wear dark colored clothes, and much like a vampire, avoid the sunlight. Sunglasses are ever present on her face when she is forced to go outside, and he hood usually pulled to cover her rather distracting features. She is a slight little thing, barely reaching 5’5” and just touching 100 pounds. If one were to see her from across the street, they would most likely mistake her for a shadow.

Parent of Godly-ness: Hades

A Lil' History: Jetta grew up in the care of her loving but not all together there mother. Although most humans who have an affair with a god don’t remember the time, or don’t suffer because of it, her mother slowly unraveled before Jetta’s eyes. She had functioned under the delusion that Hades was going to take her to the underworld and stay with her and turned a blind eye to the stories she heard of his promiscuity and general apathy towards the feelings of measly humans, so she was crushed when he left her pregnant and alone. From the day she was born, Jetta was (rather ironically) the light of her mother’s life. She spoiled her as much as humanly possible and kept her safe from all harm. But as Jetta aged, she began to notice oddities about her mother. She would often talk to herself, or other people who weren’t there. People stared when they walked down the street, and after a few years it became hard for Jetta’s mother to look her in the eyes. As if she was some sort of bad memory.

When she turned 16, Jetta watched as her mother was admitted into a mental hospital and diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Her mother had lost all touch with the real world, and had stopped eating and connecting with those around her. But, in a moment of clarity as they carted her away, Jetta’s mother whispered a hurried secret in her ear, one that Jetta would dismiss as a delusion and try to carry on with her life without recalling. However, fate had another plan for the young girl and on a normal school a month or two later, Jetta found herself surrounded by three snarling dogs black as night and almost bigger than she was. Just as they lunged for her throat, a young boy full of smiles with blonde hair the color of gold jumped in front of her and easily killed the vicious animals. It was that day that Jetta would disappear from her old life and begin a new one at Zeus’s School For DemiGods, as well as begin to wonder what else her mother had been right about.

Personality: Jetta is a rather anti-social person, but not to the point that she will turn away someone who tries to talk to her. She prefers sitting a dark corner of her empty cabin and reading a book rather than horsing around with her fellow demigods. She an extremely intelligent person, so much so that she can’t tolerate anyone remotely stupid and enjoys engaging in conversations or debates about things she interested in. She is by no way a calm person, and easily bated into anger.

Although she does love her friends, and has quite a few, she tends to feel lonely more often than not. Maybe it’s the other cabins filled with smiling friends and brothers and sisters, so boisterous and charming compared to her deserted one, or maybe it’s the fact that most new people begin to fear her once they find out who her father is. If there is one thing Jetta hates, it is people who judge her on how she looks and who her parents are, rather than who she herself is.

The young Hades descendant is quite the trouble maker, true to her nature, if you ask any of the councilors or teachers of the camp. She tends to get into heated prank wars with her fellow classmates and most of them end badly, like the one she had with an Ares kid that ended with him calling her a “little shit” and her bowing up his bathroom. Obviously, he had needed to see what shit looked like. Nevertheless, she’s a good student with a knack for quick learning, despite her disposition for trouble.

Anything To Add?: Jetta dislikes cake, idiots, cats, and bright sunlight. Not surprisingly, she likes the exact opposite of each and every one of those- except cake. What the bloody hell is the opposite of cake?

I suppose I haven't explained the antagonist enough.

Discord between the gods has existed for thousands of years and usually ended in brooding and underhanded insults, but this time, this fight is different. A squabble between Hephaestus and Ares arose and turned the world of the mighty Greek gods upside down. Ares, being the favorite of Zeus and devilishly handsome, unlike the crippled and hideous Hephaestus, was let go free of punishment and his behavior chalked up to his violent nature as the God of war. Hephaestus, however, was another story. He was banished from Olympus to the island of Kieros and sentenced to live out his days surrounded by the screeching of the horrid harpies that inhabit the island. Hephaestus was smarter than that, though. He tunneled far into the ground and made himself at home with the molten lava and blistering heat. There, he forged mighty weapons he plans to unleash on the unsuspecting gods and all of their sons, obliterating the Greek god bloodline forever. But he could not do it alone, no he needs an army. The god of fire and forging is recruiting every demigod, wood nymph, and harpy he can get his hands to create the terrifying force he needs to topple Olympus. Deep in the layers of the earth, hammers ring and foul demons screech their ferocious cries. A darkness is coming, one that the world has never seen the likes of before.
Innocent people are disappearing and the camp counselors are beginning to worry. The older students are being sent out on patrols of the perimeter each night to ensure the safety of the new, younger campers. The teachers at Zeus’s School are speeding up the training and lessening the amount of curriculum they teach. Soon, there will be war.

Edit: Just realized that quite a few of the 13 are either virgins or very unlikely to have affairs (*cough* *cough* Hera *cough* *cough*). Are we saying that they have kids without sex or that most of the gods don't consider it cheating? Perhaps both?

Clarification: The without sex was directed at the virgin goddesses (Athena, Artemis, Hestia, etc.). The not cheating was directed mostly at Hera but I've thought of a reason for her so please ignore that portion of my post.
