Personality: Lyra is quite shy, preferring to keep to a close-knit group of friends, and avoid the large crowds in high school cliques. She's extremely intelligent, and has a natural curiosity that is hard to quell - because of this, she's always looking for new things to learn and can be seen with a book in her hands. She's loyal to her friends, and will defend them resolutely, even from one another.
Short Bio: Lyra was born and raised in the small town of Baystone, FL. An only child, her parents away at work left her plenty of time to read - this made her rather unpopular at school, as she wasn't a fan of the drama and the beach in the same way as most of her peers. Now a junior at Baystone High, she struggles even more with being around her peers, as all but one of her friends have now abandoned her in an effort to become more popular.
Power: Telekinesis - Lyra has the power to manipulate energy fields, allowing her to move objects at will with her mind - restricted merely to small objects at first, with training the power and precision will come.

Ahlia has a very serious personality. She isn't exactly the easiest person to get along with, but she is a fierce and loyal friend once getting past her seemingly cold and severe exterior. She loves to read and learn, and is very academic. She enjoys sports like Volleyball and is on the school's successful volleyball team. She is very caring and won't let anyone be bullied and will stand up to those who do wrong in her eyes. She will also tell you the truth, though not selfishly so.
Short Bio:
Ahlia was born in Rouen, France to University professor parents, Diana and Matthew DuClairmont. They were killed when she was just 6 years old, and she has been living with her aunt in Baystone, Florida ever since. She speaks fluent French as she and her aunt would speak mostly in French so Ahlia wouldn't lose it. She speaks fluent english since she has lived in the US for the majority of her life.
Now she is a junior at Baystone high, with excellent grades, but a difficult personality. She is also plagued with nightmares of the death of her parents.
Power:
Spontaneous Regeneration. Ahlia's body heals itself automatically and spontaneously. If she has a cut with a knife, it heals in seconds. She has a weakness however. If something is inserted into the back of her brain, her regeneration power is stopped and she goes into a coma like state until the item is removed.
Because of the nature of her ability, she eats a lot of protein. Many people might wonder how she stays so skinny since she really eats in excess, but it is necessary for her body to function properly. If she is severely damaged, she is left exhausted after her body regenerates and has to replenish her body with the energy expended.

Information:
Aeval is a pleasant girl, much to her namesakes she is more than a little mischievous. She is sensual and romantic, always seducing someone or another. She can often be found stirring up trouble and causing heartache by using her dashing good looks to leave men speechless. She loves to dance, she could dance the night away and often does. She loves to be surrounded by other people and beings of any kind so long as they are willing to enjoy themselves as she does. She's a bit care free as far as things go but it is her nature.
Aeval does have a kind of magic, she can read others emotions and draw them out so that others can feel them as well. She can influence them mildly, only increase or decrease the severity but not eliminate or make them extreme. She would be able to assist with in communication and teamwork issues.
I'd like her to have a secondary related power a well. It's animal communication, animals communicate with sounds but also with emotions pushed outwards so others can understand them in silence. She can understand domestic animals best but wild animals are much harder and take long periods of repeated exposure for her to clearly understand them. Birds and such or animals that are around people frequently are easier and much like domestic animals for her. The less the animal comes Ito contact with humans the harder it is to understand them. She can ask animals to do things for her but not control them or influence their emotions. She can speak with animals by way of emotions. She understands them and vice versa. As a result Aeval is never alone, animals are drawn to her, birds flutter in trees near by and dogs strain against their leashes to be petted by her. Aeval loves animals just as they love her.

Personality: Though angry and prone to outbursts in previous years, Eli has changed drastically after discovering his ability. Now, he is seemingly always at peace, which he attributes to his renewed faith in a higher power. Eli always seems willing to go along with the flow and help anyone that needs it. He often smiles, however, seemingly knowing something that everyone else does not.
Short Bio: The son of a pastor, Eli was a faith healer who traveled around the country with his father to perform miracles. With his father always encouraging him and preaching before his healings, Eli genuinely believed that he was helping people. When he was older, he was finally approached by a skeptic at one of his services, who challenged him by asking if he had ever followed up on those he had seemingly healed. Stunned, Eli confronted his father, who freely revealed that their services were just a source of income to him. Wracked with self-doubt, Eli had a crisis of faith and spent the next decade of his life soul-searching. He traveled the world, experiencing what it had to offer without the limits of his faith, and often found himself traveling with the "wrong" kind of people. He learned various tricks and trades, often illegal, which he put to good use to fund himself and survive as he continued exploring the darker corners of the world. Eli's entire outlook changed again, however, after discovering his new ability. This unexpected blessing inspires him with a vague spiritualism and renews his faith in a greater purpose.
Power: Reactive adaptation - Ability to develop a resistance or immunity to whatever he was injured by or exposed to; however, these gains are usually temporary. His body automatically adapts to any situation or environment he is placed in, allowing him to survive what might be lethal to others.

Personality: Ray is a quiet and reserved person. He keeps to himself most of the time and avoids any problematic situations when possible. He has trouble connecting with others, so he has very few friends. Although he is distant, he is polite and tries not to upset people.
Short Bio: Ray had a normal childhood. Good parents, decent house, enough money to get by. He was just an average kid. By the time he entered high school, he began to fall into the wrong crowd. They pressured him into trying drugs and alcohol. He was able to control drinking, never getting too drunk and he wasn't an alcoholic. He actually didn't like alcohol. But his real problem was heroin. It consumed his life, and soon became all he was about. People told him when he was high, he was more fun to be around. He liked the feeling of people actually wanting to hang out with him. That paired with heroin's highly addictive nature made it his life. Eventually he realized he needed help, and after a long time in rehab, he was finally clean. He's been drug free for a year and a half, but the urge is still there and he isn't sure how much longer he can fight it.
Power: Invisibility - Right now it is involuntary and on a small scale.
Other Information: Still smokes cigarettes. I also imagined him as being gay, but I don't think that will come into play at all. Just thought I'd mention it :3

Name: Alexander Hyll

Appearance: Alexander (or Alex) is an average young adult. He is of average height, with a rather skinny build, which makes him seem taller than he actually is. His black hair barely covers his hazel eyes. He usually doesn’t care too much about what he wears, though he hates sandals. Normally, he will be wearing a pair of jeans with a dark hoodie, and his iconic lime green beanie. Despite his normally dark attire, he refuses to go out without this.
Personality: Alexander is a very reclusive person. He usually avoids social contact as much as possible. When forced into talking with people, he is forcedly polite, unless he is well aquainted or trusts the person.
Short Bio: Alex was the youngest member of a very doting family. The sort of family that were afraid to let him go to public schools, or visit friends. He became afraid of people other than his family, and was homeschooled.
During the summer of the 11th grade, Alex set his home on fire. He was cooking, and was distracted by a phone call with one of the few girls he knew outside of his family. He managed to escape, but his entire family passed away. Alex refused to go to social services, and instead moved away, and faked his age so he could rent an apartment.
As time progressed, Alex began to become a bit of an alcoholic. He would go to bars nearly every night to drown away his sorrows, with limited success. One day, he got involved in a fight with a man. Alex flinched, and felt the punch go straight through him. Alex panicked, and ran off before the man could try again.
Power: Phasing. Alex can phase through most objects, though not ones that are large or possess a very high density. (Later on, walls and stuff, but right now, barely anything)

Name: Valora Czar
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance: Standing at 6’1’’, the height on top of a thin frame keeps Valora looking rather sickly, compounded by a pale complexion. She has wavy light blonde hair going down to just below her shoulder blades, with long bangs that cover her grey-blue eyes. This is particularly because she’s blind in her right eye, so it’s mostly white and clouded over as well as to hide the scarring on the same side of her face. It’s the worst around her eye, cutting thin lines across her brow and eyelid with the deeper marks just below her eye and dragging across her cheek to just below her ear. The drag of teeth left the most noticeable scarring, but if looked upon closely the shorter puncture wounds are still mildly visible.
Personality: Uptight, serious and seemingly afraid of her own shadow, Valora is more polite than friendly. This is due to the near constant fear she carries, though when she feels safe it’s obvious by the more frequent smiles, the relaxation of her always tense smiles and the more playful banter. Unfortunately this is rarely seen by others, since her attitude in combination with keeping her nose to the grindstone for her academics keeps her from making very many friends outside of the occasional study group. Her agonizing self-consciousness over her scarring and eye doesn’t exactly help.
Short Bio: Valora was the first born child on the expansive acreage of a vineyard, and initially grew up with a love of the outdoors. It changed when she was seven, and a stray dog had wandered onto their lands. It was vicious and previously abused, driven there by starvation and so when confronted with easy prey in the form of a naive little girl that had wandered away from her parents during the busiest season gave in and attacked. When her parents heard her cries they of course rushed to her side with the nearest hired hands to rescue her, but the damage was painful and extreme. Although she survived after surgery, and regained vision in her left eye, the attack left a deep seated fear of animals in her, and to a lesser extent the entire wilderness – as well as anything bad she can think of. Admittedly, now grown and still having that fear leaves Valora’s younger siblings a bit put off and stressed by her constant fretting when she has to watch them, a situation which has completely stopped now that she’s moved away for college. Her parents of course make sure she still has her bi-weekly therapy sessions.
The biggest thing she’s had to worry about lately however has been the strange happenings to her body. It’s terrifying, Valora half-convinced her nightmares are beginning to manifest themselves into her conscious mind. With animals always being a source of fear, why else would she be ‘hallucinating’ about being able to mimic them?
Power: Animal Mimicry. If an animal, excluding insects, are within a hundred yards of her Valora can pick up their abilities temporarily, both good and bad. Mammals are significantly easier to pick up, as well as lasting longer. Some of the abilities may take a few minutes to kick in if they physically change her body, for example the heightened sense of a dog would be almost immediate compared to the painful time it takes her body to hollow her canines for the venom of a snake. Her body can only be changed minimally however, and so Valora will not be doing something dramatic such as sprouting wings. Though sometimes after accidentally taking a dog's abilities she admittedly has to shave her legs again. She can only have one animal at a time, and rapidly shifting which one’s abilities she currently has is near impossible. And of course, the fact she’s absolutely terrified of turning into the ‘monster’ she sees many of these animals as doesn’t exactly help her body cope with the changes.

Personality: Calm, tolerent. Passive aggressive. If you pissed him off he wouldn't do a thing,
but would go away and bitch about it later on. Whilst generally good natured he has his bad moments.
Short Bio: Is divourced and has an eight year old son who he never gets to see due to both his
ex-wife and his work commitmens. He works as the manager to a cinema.
