A tiny pink haired girl burst into the lobby proclaiming that she requested a healer, or some band-aids. Elena could hardly say the girl was tiny considering she was the same size herself. Seeing that no one else was taking the bait, Elena approached the girl. "Snip, snip snip. 'Oi, you!' 'Man, I never got to chop their heads off...'" Images flowed into Elena's mind as she neared the girl. Judging by her bloodied hands, these were probably the events of this morning. "I have some bandages," she said to the girl. "Although judging by the state of your hands, they're going to need more than just some band-aids." Elena offered her hand to the girl, not caring for the blood. "Follow me and I'll fix you up."
Elena had once met a nurse, and she saw into her memories. This was one of the more useful things Elena could do. She could pick up past skills from others and commit them to memory. "I'm Elena, by the way."
This was not how Elena had thought of spending her morning. A few moments ago, she was caught up in the memories of someone else, being thrown back a couple years, looking at the scene of an orphanage. Elena didn't mean to intrude, and people didn't notice when she was in their heads, unless they had some sort of a telepathic power themselves. She wasn't thee type of girl to pry, but she still found it interesting to know everyone's stories. That way, she could avoid some awkward conversations regarding things others would rather keep to themselves.
She was an early-riser, so Elena was usually one of the first ones up and out in the lobby. She hadn't expected for this other girl to be here, but judging by the looks of it, she had been up for much longer than Elena. Without meaning to, Elena slipped into the girls mind, picking out that her name was Ebony and that she had a thing for roses. Images of roses where everywhere in Elena's vision, so vivid that she could almost smell them. Elena pulled herself back into reality, figuring that she'd already pried too much, and she did not want Ebony noticing.
