[Country Girl]

Okay it's deal with all them or go with him. I made up my mind quickly followed after him. I may not know him, but it was better than dealing with five armed guys when all I had was my pocket knife. I'd never gotten a chance to save up enough to get myself a gun yet. But I just needed to cheat the bank one more time and I'd have more than enough. Then only other think was learning to hide a gun when I was wearing something like this, sure a knife was easy, a gun was another question.

The girl followed close behind. I stopped at the fence, "I'll give you a boost up. No need to go hurting yourself." I tucked the gun and pill away waiting for her to come over. I hoped she hadn't lost her half in all that. It was the only one I had left.

Why did everyone think girls always needed help? Well I'd just let him do it. The half of the pill he'd given me was in my pocket, my knife and phone were now in my bra which wasn't the most comfortable place to have my knife. I let him help me over the fence, but I swear if He tried what the other guy had, it was gun vs knife. And the gun would probably win, that was the only reason the other guy had backed off. But why was he helping me? I wasn't in a gang. I was the police chiefs daughter. But he didn't know that.

I held my hands out giving the girl a place to step. As she did I lifted her up and over the fence. The cloth of her skirt rolled across my face and I caught brief glimpse of what was under it. I closed my eyes blushing. Then I realized, 'Why the hell am I closing my eyes?' But by then she was over. I took a few steps back and ran. With a jump I through myself over the fence landing with a slide on the other end. Nearly fell on my ass which I'm glad i didn't in front of the girl.

Then I thought, 'I keep calling her girl.' I turned to her. "Mind if I ask what your name is? Mines Daniel."

"My mom always used to call me Ashlee, but my friends call me Ash. It's nice to meet you Daniel." I said softly. I hadn't really noticed how late it was til now. I didn't mind, if it hadn't been for that guy trying to feel me up, I'd still be partying or on my way home with some random man who might rape me like I had already been when I was five years old.

"It's nice to meet you too." The girl seemed kind of nice. I was getting some weird vibe from her though I couldn't tell what. "Hey you don't have to be so tense, by the way. You're safe now. I'm not here to hurt you." I began to walk. I reached in my pocket and took out the pill. "I don't think I told you what this did, did I? How rude." I dropped it on the edge of my tongue and kept it there. "It's pretty special. Makes your nerves extremely sensitive. Just to brush your hand across something soft is like an unworldly experience. Everything just feels better." I swallowed. "Now it's your turn. If it kills you it will kill me." I smiled.

I smiled slightly, I usually kept my part of the deal and slipped it out of my pocket and popped it into my mouth and swallowed it. Hopefully it didn't make my nerves worse. "There's reasons why I'm tense, I usually am until I trust someone." I said softly. I had my reasons for being tense and I didn't just let anyone know about my past. My past was why I wanted my dad to die. I didn't want him to die slow, I wanted it to be fast for his sake.

I sat in the grass. It didn't take long for the pill to take effect. I enjoyed the feel of the blades between my fingers. I looked over at the girl. "Well you can trust me. At least for the night. Come sit over here." I held my hand out to my side. I was having thoughts of what it would feel like to feel her under the effects of the drug, but then i shook them off. My whole bod was beginning to tingle.

I might as well, there was nothing else to do. I sat next to him, feeling what I guessed was supposed to be the effect of the pill. It didn't make my nerves get worse, thank god, they seemed to stay the same. What he meant by only being able to trust him for tonight? That did make me a little uneasy.

The girl seemed a bit shy. Then again I guess the situation was a bit strange. "You know all this business with the gangs and the feuds. It makes you almost forget how nice it is to just sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze and the stars." I laid down with my arms behind my head. "It's been awhile since I could just rest."
