1,568 years ago: The forest was calm.....until a big thing flew fast across it making the wind bend and shake from the force, and the thing, which was a big pokémon, landed on it's forepaws and began to run fast. Several people on Dragonairs or Piggeioto's were doing their best to keep up with the pokémon whenever it was in the air, and those on a Rappidash, or Growlith kept up to it, to the best of their abilities on the ground. The pokémon currently on the ground was a very powerful one. It could fly faster than any other, run faster than any other, and could use the abilities of all and had the weakness of none. I refuse to be caught and used. It seems....degrading.The pokémon thought. It then jumped into water and a pretty girl came out on the other side.

The idea: The Pokémon, Mellaru is a special kind of pokémon who has all the abilities of those in the past and of today. But everyone thinks it's gone, hiding in the lake. And there is a pokémon tournament going on in the city of Uliard, where Mellaru seemed to have disappeared.
