The Nightwatch (A Game of Thrones Fanfic)

[Aragorn]

Jacob whirled around, hand on the pommel of his sword. When he saw Fox, he dropped his hand and said "Gods, I thought for a minute I was looking the wrong way if you know what I mean." He laughed nervously. "Sorry. My second week on the Wall and I'm slightly nervous."

[MaloBeto]

"Its all right kid. People tend to not see me coming. It's what I'm best at." said Fox "Good thing I'm here to replace you, you look like you're about to pass out."

[Aragorn]

"Yeah. I'm cold, tired, and hungry. Plus, I saw a were-light." Jacob said. "If Zeraph hadn't seen it as well, I would of thought I was dreaming it." He shook his head and sighed.

[eddieddi]

Zeraph at that time had his crossbow out and was leaning on the edge of the wall. "I don't like this." he said simply and gestured out to the forest in a specific direction, "no noise at all but just a warelight." he walked over to the other two and gestured to Jacob "give him your candle, that way he won't freeze, I'll work on getting you a perminant one, rather than my spare."

[Aragorn]

Jacob nodded and handed over his candle. "A werelight so close to the Wall." He said. "Strange."

[eddieddi]

"and worrying" Zeraph added and then shrugged "I'll see you at dinner kiddo." he nodded to Jacob then resumed stamping up and down the wall.

[Aragorn]

Jacob nodded and walked to the dining hall to pick up some food.

[Jyscal]

Seeing the new guy enter the dining hall and being bored, Alistaer walked up to him. "So how long have you been on watch," after seeing the new members slightly paler face "Why you look like you saw something dangerous out there why don't we get some food and you can tell me what you saw, I mean there's nothing better to do up here in this frozen wasteland."

[Aragorn]

Jacob laughed and as they got food, said "This is my second week on the watch and I've just seen my first werelight."

[Jyscal]

"Aye that's something to fear, I remember the first time i saw one of those too, for about a week I stood on watch with my bow drawn ready for anything but nothing did ever attack, So how close was it too the wall?"
