Servus et humilis

Name:
Dahlia Lee
Age:
29
Background:
Dahlia was adopted and raised as an only child by a very privileged family. From the very beginning, her parents treated her as a small adult rather than a child. They believed that by exposing her to the realities of society, she wouldn't be disillusioned like most children and it would be easier to ease her into having more independent thoughts instead of relying on there words as indefinite truth. Dahlia's parents entered her into a special development school when she turned four, this was to allow her parents to understand what skills Dahlia excelled in and what skills would need work. They wanted to understand how much she could completely comprehend and she proved that her development skills were excellent, she showed signs of being a bright child. As she entered into public school, Dahlia became more reserved and slowly formed a pacifist belief after watching her peers conduct in useless acts of violence and reckless behavior. She had the habit of analyzing situations and would constantly try to act as a negotiator for conflicts, but because of her mature attitude towards problem solving, the others children saw her as being different and tried to avoid her.
Dahlia became quite introverted as she entered into high school and would rather focus on her school work instead of what the other teenage girls were interested in doing. She was influenced by her parents to pursue a career as a Doctor, her mother being a psychiatrist and her father being a well-known surgeon, she believed that this decision would be beneficial to her. Though she was goal-based and a hard working student, her teachers realized that Dahlia was alienating herself from her peers though and worried that she had issues with socialization. Aware of their concern, Dahlia decided that she would join a peer mentoring after school program to ease their worries. While in the program, she had been partnered with a girl named Jenny, who was acting out because she was struggling with her situations from home. Dahlia found her fascinating and decided that she wanted to closely study Jenny to understand her behavior further. Jenny was an unbelievable relentless bully and refused to change her behavior, Dahlia didn't understand this and devised a plan to study this girl. She invited Jenny back to her home under the pretense of doing her assignments, knocked her out through blunt force, and decided to torture the girl to see what made her tick. In the end, the girl was found by officers weeks later, she had been dissected and her brain removed. The killer still had not been caught.
Dahlia had started moved advanced methods of study throughout college and after receiving her degrees in neural science and psychology. She continued with studying live test subjects, but realized that she could gather more information if her subjects were still alive. When she heard about a position to work with the Mentally unsound, she became quite curious about how they functioned versus how regular people function. She arrived at Solomons Asylum and enjoys using her position to cause situations between patients to study their behavior. She acts professional when she must, but she can't help but smile when thinking about torturing another patient for her own benefit.
